Poor service, expansive without a good reason
Pretty average
Overpriced and noisy.
Excellent all the way around
The best Mr Chow location
The best restaurant in nyc
As amazing as it ever was !
Overall, i wasn’t impressed with the restaurant food. It was ok but some people might like it. I think it’s over rated.
Meh...trendy at best. Inflexible ordering and mediocre cuisine.
Birthday party!
The place was full of Wall Street a$holes laughing and cursing so loudly they cleared the place. We skipped dessert just to get out. Management did nothing to take control. So annoying.
Mr. Chow has been a family favorite for many years and it never disappoints. We love the atmosphere and the food is truly exceptional. Very highly recommended.
We were looking forward to this date night and were so disappointed. The starters were good; however, the lobster main dish with ginger and garlic was not as advertised. We specifically asked if this was out of the shell and easy to eat.. YES was the answer. The presented dish was not easy to eat nor out of the shell...we were given finger bowes and a pot for shells. I was shocked to be eating with my fingers at Mr Chow's! 😝
One of our favorites. We love coming here. The food is always delicious and the service is fantastic.
Food needs major major improvement. Portions are small, prices are high.
Was for a birthday for my boyfriend and it was amazing!
Food was amazing. The Peking duck is expensive and appeared not enough. Nevertheless exceptionally tasty.
Way too expensive for what it is.
Food is OK, you pay for the scene and pay you shall.
The food was EXTREMELY over sauced and cold once we received it. Thankfully the manager brought us better prepared food but the server was not checking on us at all. He checked on us every 20 - 30 mins. I’ve been here multiple times and the food/service was excellent. As a visitor from Houston I am extremely disappointed in the overall experience.
Food was awesome! The service was great. The servers are so nice, polite and helpful. This was my first time here and I had no clue what to pick. Miguel the manager for Saturday was so helpful he helped up picked out our food and we could not have been happier. I even tried eating new things I never would have eaten before.
Great taste and reasonable wine list makes this a great go to for a date or special occasion.
Great as usual
Absolutely phenomenal. Always treated like family!
Simply divine. We were patrons of 57th Street for many years. Loved the service and food was just as good as we recalled.
This has been the worst experience. Paying $500 for a meal and the service was beyond pathetic. They rushed us with everything. So many patrons complained but the wait staff paid no attention. I want my money back. Close down Mr Chow
I had a great time and good food.
Also I was apart of mr.chow 50th anniversary and the night was great. Thank you.
Fantastic food. The duck minion and the prawns were amazing. Very pricey however.
always delicious and service is exceptional. love the soup dumplings and the shrimp with walnuts. also the duck is always amazing.
Valentine’s Day Prix Fix menu - not typically my first choice, but I get it for “holidays”. Quickly seated and poured complimentary glasses of champagne. Off to a good start. From there we were literally rushed the whole time. No explanation of menu, did not take any drink orders. Waiter was rude and was clearly just focused on volume. Food was mediocre at best and clearly not made to order. Again , I understand of a fixed menu on holidays, but at least make it to order if you’re going to charge $100:head. Very bland, small portions. For the total cost of the meal, the value is a joke. Honestly tastes like a knockoff version of hakkasan etc. I’ve lived/worked in the area for years and overall quality has just really declined.
We took our girls here for Valentines Day dinner. Service was amazing, food was fabulous and the ambiance is gorgeous! Servers were on top of us as well as the manager!
I’ve been to Mr. Chow’s several times on 57th Street, but the TriBeCa location was my first time for “Restaurant Week” and my date & I were disappointed with the menu.
Not the best experience, felt rushed and the area was really loud. The Velvet Chicken tasted like tofu and the crispy beef was all crispy and no beef. The waitress was really nice but after her intro, we saw her once.
A really gem in TriBeCa
Service was not great. Staff seemed to be in a rush. Food was good, but too expensive. We left with the feeling that the price was for an amazing experience, but the experience indeed was just fair.
The food was a major disappointment. It was overpriced and basically inedible. I have no idea why this place is popular. The food was truly awful. I don’t reccomend and I wouldn’t go back.
Very disappointing. Waitress seemed very impatient explaining the menu. The portions were very small and weren’t hot. I’m sorry I expected more and have gotten more from smaller, quaint and less poplar restaurants. I can’t recommend Mr. Chow to anyone after my experience. Cost to Value, very low. It’s just my opinion.
We went to Mr. Chow’s for Restaurant Week and were very disappointed. Immediately it was clear that they were trying to flip the table and they even took away our appetizers and started putting our main dishes down while we were still eating despite us asking for more time. They refused and said it was because “that’s how Chinese people are.” The food was nothing great either- overall it was a disappointing experience. I’ve had great times at Restaurant Week and wouldn’t suggest going here ever.
Mr.Chows is the perfect place for a double date night
Truly enjoyed everything...
