Absolutely always a fine dining experience . The service is impeccable , the menu choices are plenty and the food is consistently delicious!! We love Mr. Chows in Tribeca ! A
when there with my kids. great good and ambiance.... a bit pricey.
The friendly, professional service, wine-list and cuisine are always world class! And the ambiance hasn’t lost a step even during the pandemic with its social distancing requirements. Always a great and pleasurable experience! 10/10
Not once did our two waiters check up on us during the meal. One took our drink order, the other took our meal order. Both of the male waiters were friendly but neither of them bothered to check on us during the entire meal or see if we needed anything. The most attentive were actually the busboys! They need to be making more money than those waiters because they did all the work!!!!!!
Very lovely ambience and friendly service. The wait staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious, walnut shrimp is definitely recommended. A bit on the pricey side but overall a nice experience.
Mr. Chow in TriBeCa, is one of my favorites. The food is excellent and consistent, and the service is outstanding. It is pricey but worth it. They have done a great job in reopening from pandemic shutdown. I sat outside on a very cold night. They have great heaters and all of the tables are separated by plexiglass. I was warm enough with a sweater (was able to take off my coat) and felt safe. The inside was also open and I noticed the plexiglass and tables far apart. It still felt elegant but very clean and safe.
So not worth the money. Hugely overpriced and not as good as a hole in the wall place on the street.
Always experience impeccable service and excellent food and drink here. An elevated and elegant neighborhood mainstay that always feels like a treat. The maitre-d runs a tight ship and is always friendly and welcoming.
Love Mr. Chow, food is always delicious and we love the staff! We make it a point to come at least once a week!
Always great food and service
The food was average and definitely overpriced for what it was. Wouldn’t go back, not sure what the hype is about
Always excellent across the board. Always worth it.
The food was fair, I wasn't impressed. The food arrived room temperture fairly cold and the host and waiter could have been friendly. The bus boys seems to be more attentive then the rest of the staff.
Always solid. Excellent service. Great heated outdoor options and socially distanced dining.
Great food! Felt a bit pressured in the beginning to order and leave but then got another waiter who was excellent.
Unfortunately, we were given the end table of street seating on Hudson St. There was plastic tarp sheeting on 2 sides of the table that made loud noises when cars were speeding by. Our birthday dinner celebration was marred by the location. Our dining experience was marginalized.
I have dined at the Mr. Chow in TriBeCa MANY times. It has always been a goto because of the food, service and outdoor seating; but this experience was underwelming at best. It was a girls' night out to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl said Mr. Chow has always been on her bucket list. What a disappointment! Maybe because of Covid, they're trying to turn tables quickly. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water for the table and a lovely bottle of wine. The food came out very quickly, as if they must have been just waiting for someone to order the ma mignon, which was not tender at all. The green prawns, which I never miss, were fishy tasting. I had to ask for the hot sauce, which is usually a table staple. Toward the end of dinner, I excused myself to go to the ladies' room. When I returned, my glass of wine and water were gone! Mr. Chow usually prides itself on its impeccable service, but this experience left me wondering if they're under new management or are Covid requirements changing the way they perform? For the price, I'm not sure I'll return any time soon, and I am not comfortable recommending without warnings.
Food, Service, Drinks were all outstanding. I highly recommend.
Mr Chow is excellent. Atmosphere beautiful. No one does a better outdoor setup. Heating lamps. Indoor gorgeous Food expensive but delicious. My only problem is that they give you 1 hour 44 minutes which is fine but why are they’d rushing you and bringing food too quick. When someone is having a couple of drinks, and appetizers they DON’T want their main course 5 minutes after appetizer is taken away.
It was wonderful!
Everything was great. It was a bit pricey but worth the experience once in a while. Service was amazing and I liked the fact that they had heat lamps outdoors during covid as it felt comfortable despite it being a cold night.
The food was amazing and the service is on point! I will be back for sure!💚
Amazing!! Every single damn time!! Never fails!!
Honestly, I love this restaurant. The service is excellent, the food is amazing. The ambiance is great sans Covid.. obviously given the circumstances the energy for indoor dining is extremely different. However... I must say I was disappointed with the presentation of the food when I went this past weekend. I had ordered the gambeler’s duck (which I order often) and it looked like it was thrown into a blender. The way it was cut and put on the table was disappointing. I love Mr. Chow- but I would think for the price and quality of the food, the presentation should reflect that.
The staff was very helpful. The drinks are the only thing that wasn’t 5 star
Very safe outdoor dining experience! Love Mr. Chow... over and over
Five spice tofu, gambler’s duck, green prawns, and soup dumplings! Skip the rice... not because it’s bad, but you don’t need
We live in the neighborhood and our daughters both love Mr. Chow. I can't tell you how happy we are that they are open for outdoor dining. On this particular occasion, I called the day of to change the reservation to a party of five. Absolutely accommodating! Keep up the good work.
First time back in NYC for dinner. Mr. Chow did an excellent job of making us all feel comfortable and safe. And the food was as amazing as it always it.
For my experience i don't think worth the money , food is average, service is poor they overbooked me and left me waiting for 40 minutes outside and didn't even give anything as a complement , disrespectful atitute and they overcharged us on the bill,
Overall theres better places for cheaper .. be smart.
Awful!!!!!! We were rushed from the minute we sat down. The
Best Chinese food ever and always consistent. The Host, Shubby, at Mr. Chows never fails to make the experience even more pleasant. One of New York's gems for sure.
Food went downhill. The service was great.
Very nice food and excellent service. Food is on the pricey side.
Mr. Chow has done a fabulous job of utilizing its outdoor space with very safe protocols and the always-amazing food and service. Try it!
The scallops were delicious
Amazing the best outdoor currently in New York City. As far as high end restaurants.
Excellent Food...... highly recommend for a special occasion, date night, upscale Asian food. Love the place. Great outdoor dining.
Great food, great service, pricey but it is Mr.Chow.
Been going there since it opened in early 2000. Best service in the world. Period! You will not find a better dining experience! So happy they’re back open.
