MR CHOW - TriBeca

Excellent food and service!!!
Lowkey spot Great ambience & Amazing service, will definitely go back
Mr. Chow's is one my favorite restaurants because of it's consistency from service to food. They always provide a warm welcome and good food.
I had been looking forward to trying Mr Chow for a very long time. The food and the service was good (to great) but I have to point out that the restroom was not clean. I believe they should monitor the cleanliness of their facilities a bit more.
I felt racially profiled by servers and i was harassed to tip them
We were quite disappointed in our experience at Mr. Chow’s. We were seated right behind a serving station, so that we had much waiter to waiter conversation and clanging of dishes to accompany our meal (there was no plexiglas divider in that direction.). Because we wanted to look at the menu for a few extra minutes, we then had an overly long wait for our order to be taken. That was followed by a dispute about whether something being listed on the appetizer portion of the menu meant it couldn’t be served as a main course. As if annoyed by what we wanted, the waiter then brought our food out in multiple stages . . . first appetizers, then after a pause came the noodles, then about ten minutes later the next main dish, and then about ten minutes more until a vegetable side dish was served. That of course insures that food won’t be hot if you try to eat things together. The food itself was nothing special—odd sauce on the satay, famed noodles resembled spaghetti with meat sauce, and the fiery beef had too little accompanying it to balance the spiciness. We won’t be recommending it to any friends.
Over priced basic Chinese food.
Fish was dry. Soup dumplings lacked soup! Service was slow. Hostess was nowhere to be found.
The hostess was not on top of things. Took other before you. Then seated us by the kitchen. It was very rude for the price and price doesn’t matter to me when I want to enjoy a meal but this wasn’t worth it because of the service.
We were looking forward to dinner and thought it would be fun. We would have been better off at a PF Chang's. While the service was fine the food was not good.
I will always love Mr. Chow.
Sometimes the service is difficult but remember we are in NY
Lovely... 5 star!!
Better go to a China Town. Highly overpriced ripe off
Nice place, nice location and great service! I think the food is overrated however.
they hustle you and the food is cold/ not good....we go alot in miami.. this one stinks
Highly overpriced and overrated. Atmosphere is the only thing it’s worth going for.
We went for my sister’s birthday and the experience felt incredibly rushed. They practically threw the food onto the table. The waiters did not seem knowledgeable about the menu either. For example: when we asked what the mixed berry cake was, all they could tell us was that it isn’t mixed berry flavored just has mixed berries on it
I put that we had a birthday in the Open Table app, called to confirm, and mentioned something when we checked in and of course, no candle.
Lastly, the women’s bathroom was disgusting. Toilet paper stuffed in every toilet but 1. Not cool to not attend to your bathrooms, especially during COVID and especially for an amazing restaurant like Mr. Chow. When we complained, they seemed pretty apathetic honestly.
The only saving grace was the food. We go to Mr. Chow quite a bit and this was a really disappointing experience...
Expensive but worth it! DELICIOUS every time& hands down best in NYC
We found servers to be very pushy, insisting on minimum food to be ordered and selling fixed price menu as opposed to ala carte! Will never understand the hype about this place for overpriced food.
Amazing food and great atmosphere! We had an amazing evening.
Last time we were here, delicious.
This time - very mediocre esp considering rather expensive.
Will chalk it up to Covid and get back over once NYC has fully opens up restaurants.
Food was average. Service average. Very expensive for the quality.
The good food is marred by Mr. Chow being a clip joint. Every item is $10-20 overpriced. Adds up!These aren't NYC prices. They are prices for tourists who don't know better. $50.00 for four skewers of chicken satay? Hard to enjoy dinner when you know you are dealing with people who approach the business in such a predatory way.
Food was not fresh. A total rip off for something that tastes like it just came out of a microwave. And we tried a bunch of things. Staff and service was amazing, tho!
Food was very good as before but the service was perfunctory at best (although the front desk was lovely) and the prices are just stupid.
Wow. Just wow. From the moment my boyfriend and I arrived we felt so welcomed and warm, the service was 10/10 the food exceptional, scenery remarkable. If your looking to have a grand time Mr. chow is a great choice and the place to be. Everyone was following COVID safety precautions and there was a glass between each table to ensure everyone socially distancing. Can’t wait to return. 10/10 service.
This was my first time dining at Mr.Chow's restaurant in Tribeca. It was for a party of 8.
Loved how easy the servers made it for us to order but the value for the amount of food was not too low. Very small portions for the 8 of us. Left a bit hungry.
Over priced - highest prices in TriBeCa for 2nd tier food. Great service though
Awful service last night.
Excellent service!!!! Amazing food!!!! My favorite restaurant
Awesome meal as always !! Mr.Chow doesn’t disappoint
Outside dining was freezing. Not enough heaters and other restaurants in area much warmer and prepared. Called to make sure before and they were misleading. Not good for outdoor dining!! Service was very abrupt and not attentive
Amazing way to celebrate Chinese New Year with Class!! Our family was treated like royalty, and we loved every aspect. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
Beautiful setting & environment to dine in. By 6 PM there was a moderate level of noise as families and couples began to be seated. MR CHOW executed the safety precautions of covid-19 wonderfully. Will most definitely be dining there again.
While the ambience as well as the service were lovely unfortunately 2 out of 3 ppl in the party were not pleased with the food. The lobster dumplings I felt were rather dry to be in bamboo steamer‘s. I ordered the lobster for the main course that was supposed to have been flavored in ginger. Not even a hint of ginger whatsoever it was very bland the rice was under cooked and very hard. Had to stab it to break it up. Had Lychee martinis that was just vodka with lychee on a toothpick. For a pricy meal I would of skipped
One of my favorite restaurants. The velvet chicken is delicious.
Very accommodating, originally booked outdoor dining, it was extremely cold and they made space for us to eat indoors. They were helpful and nice. The food was good too.
