Excellent restaurant. Best staff in nyc
Everyone at this place is amazing and does a great job to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable having their awesome food and experiencing the great service. Thank you .
Love our neighborhood spot! Service food and drinks are always great, and elegant!
Great night!!!! We Celebrated my daughters birthday. Excellent service staff so friendly. Probably the most consistent restaurant in NYC
New York City’s most famous American Asian Cuisine
Excellent as always. Mr Szekely the best host :)
I felt safe dining indoors and the quality of service and food were outstanding. I highly recommend!
The food definitely was mediocre for such a high end restaurant.
Fabulous evening!! We enjoyed everything immensely
I have eaten at Mr. Chow for 25 years (uptown location) always consistently good. Downtown location is a very poor subsitute, I have tried this location a few times and this will be the last. I have little good to say from dining here
Food was just ok.
Birthday dinner with my daughter.
Wonderful experience, food and service were excellent.
Amazing every time!
Great food, Great service
Undercooked filet, overcooked duck, flavorless rice - all not worth the price.
Always wonders d super friendly and inviting. Clean and efficient
The quality of the food and service was not worthy of the hefty check.
This meal was so not good and was extraordinarily expensive. $700 for 5 people. Service was GREAT and people nice but food was not good at all/ flavorless/unexceptional and the bill was appalling.
The food was good but not what I expected for the price
The food and service exceeded expectations. I shall return
AC seems to be out so they have big portable units. Menu is even more expensive than I remember.
As always my experience was elegant and classy. I love the lighting not too bright yet not too dark. The food was amazing. Been dinning at Mr. Chows for 17 years love it.
Mr Chow was a great place before the pandemic; delicious food, great service. The only thing that is left are the overpriced dishes.
$32 for a tiny bowl of cold noodles, insane. The quality of food was really bad, compare to my previous experiences. Service rushed me through my dinner. They removed a bowl of fried rice from the table while I was still eating. Absolutely rude.
The food was not anything special or to write home about
Excellent service and food. Great atmosphere. I would go there again
Once we were seated, we were quickly approached by the wait staff for drinks without even seeing a drink menu. After the drinks were served and menus provided - we were given a minute before a waiter asked for our order. We said we needed time to review - one minute later another waiter approached, faun asked for more time. We felt rushed to order and the waiter commented how they were busy when honestly there were empty tables around us. The food was over priced and definitely the last time I will eat here.
The food here is not worth the price, very bland and doesn’t taste fresh at all, your local Chinese restaurant would be a much better option!
As per usual Mr Chow was a wonderful dining experience. We had the Green Prawns, Duck, Shrimp Fried Rice & Bok Choy & we enjoyed everything. My one complaint is: several dishes require 2 or more diners to allow you to order a specific dish.
Why is this place still in business? I don't think I've ever written a review on Open Table. Went here for a business dinner, which was probably the worst value dinner I've ever attended. The food was similar to what you could get at Panda Express. Honestly, I would have rather had Panda Express at that point. The waiter continued to open new bottles of wine without even asking us if we'd like to change our drink...knowing that he was going to charge each high $ bottle. The only good quality is that you can easily get a reservation, whereas other top tier, fine dining restaurants are always booked. Save the $$ and wait for a better reservation at a restaurant that warrants these prices.
Awful meal. Waste of $300. Food was probably the worst i have had in my 5 years in NY. So sad as the London restaurant was excellent when i went there a few years ago.
There was no restaurant week menu as advertised in the restaurant week guide. Food was delicious as always.
The best lychee martini's in NY. Amazing food and service.
Food was great just service could’ve been better
The food tasted a little different for some reason today.
2 people in our party immediately became sick all night, the 2 that ate the fish!! Terrible.
Great experience, the food is delicious and the service was great!
This restaurant needs a lot of help. Although service was good, it shouldn’t be so difficult to make a fried rice with any flavor, but they failed completely. We had to ask them to fix it twice, they eventually just heated it up, and put a disgusting amount of butter in. When we complained again, we were met with an obvious lie, “We do not use butter in our kitchen.” Funny because everything here tastes like butter. Better off going to any other restaurant in New York for this price point…
Our 11pm reservation was not a good experience, we were rushed the whole time, we had the full course meal (they brought all our food out at the same time so it got cold) this was not a good experience
Love the special attention . Thanks
