Great night everything
It was amazing!
Small portions and overpriced. The main problem is the food was not very good, nor was it warm.
The food was disgusting. Don’t waste your time or money here. The waiter tells you that they are a family style restaurant so one side serving can accommodate about 3-4 ppl, however, they charge you per person for each side order. Example: side order of string beans is $11.00. You order one side order but charged $22.00. When we inquired about it was told “that’s how they charge you”. Doesn’t make sense. I’ve been to plenty upscale restaurants and I am no stranger to paying for good food, but this was ridiculous. I would have felt a bit better if the food was actually decent but it wasn’t. Order filet mignon and it was nasty. When we arrived the restaurant they only had one couple, with us it made two couples. We were seated and shortly after another large party of about 8 ppl were seat directly next to us. With the social distance standards in place you would think the staff would place this party at a distance to remain within guidelines, but no they seated this party directly behind us and then when we mentioned it to the staff they asked us if we would like to move and we accepted, but common sense why you seat such a big party so close to one another? Again, if you’re in the Miami area there are wayyyyyy better places to dine at. Don’t waste your time here.
Expensive and not worth it. Very little food which was good but not worth the price.
The service was outstanding! The food was less than worth the money. It was quite disgusting to say the least.
Will never return to this place again. Horrible food and even worse management.
Expensive but not tasty. There was a bad smell near our outdoor tent.
Incredibly overpriced for subpar food. Service was awesome but we will not be returning.
Overall a very nice evening. I thought the apps were amazing. Main courses left a lot to be desired. Desserts - ok.
Quick service, friendly staff. Food was delicious, try the soup dumplings and spicy beef.
Well for starters the front door when you walk n is so congested... with a Covid there was no rules in place...
The waiter was not very accommodating and wise with the menu. He spoke so low that i had to keep asking what was that or pardon me... everything that me and my group wanted he said that we could not get... we tried to get stuff with out tree nuts for someone that was allergic to tree nuts and the waiter had no idea what to suggest.
The drinks were good. Over all it was a great location and a complete vibe minus the food. I also have to note that the salt and pepper shrimp were still shelled so as we were eating them we were spitting out shells. That was not what i was expecting.
If I could give this place no stars I would. Service was okay but the quality of food was an absolute disappointment. The service felt as if I walked into a car dealership and they were constantly trying to upsell items on the menu. For example, they continuously mentioned the duck and lobster dishes. We ordered chicken satay for an appetizer. The chicken was disgusting, with a white sauce which all tasted non fresh, microwave meal. Shrimp fried rice looked as it was sitting for days on their kitchen counter, the taste was also non fresh. Ordered the noodles which were disgusting. My local Chinese restaurant makes a better noodle dish for $5.99 Completely dissatisfied!! For a party of 8 people we received a $900 bill. Save yourself the time and money. Head over to Panda Express for a taster meal. Someone needs to tell them when you charge fine dinning prices you expect a fine dinning experience Expected so much more from such an acclaimed restaurant. In conclusion the price is preposterous.
Really chaotic and disorganized check in; overbooked by far; overpriced for food and experience; pretty obnoxious. They can probably do well in high season but good luck getting any one to eat there the rest of the yar.
Extremely disappointed with our meal and the service. First off, the service was just not acceptable for this type of restaurant. Specifically, we waited 15-20 minutes for a second round of drinks. The filet mignon was overcooked and when sent back, the replacement was similarly overcooked. Simply put, this is a very expensive restaurant and I've been here several times where the food and service was great, and therefore, the cost is secondary if the experience is five star. For 2-3 star quality, it't not nearly worth the price.
I’ve eaten here several times and it’s always the highlight of my trip to Miami, but this dinner was different. Our reservation was at 8 and we weren’t seated until 8:20. The tables were on top of each other—quite frankly, unacceptable in standard times, but completely unacceptable in covid times. There was absolutely no social distancing, and I was disappointed that a restaurant of this caliber was not taking the public health crisis more seriously. The party seated next to us was inches away. We asked to be moved to an outside table and while they did ultimately relocate us, it was 9:00 before we were brought a menu, one hour after our reservation began. The food was delicious as always, but I was unbelievably disappointed by how the evening unfolded.
This place is the absolute worst. From the price to the quality of the food, this is a joke. I could have gotten better Chinese from the store on the corner. and for 1/5 of the price.
Food is lousy.
The food was average and extremely overpriced. This place is way passed its peak.
Beautiful restaurant the staff so attentive...food was delicious....
Wonderful setting, excellent dishes. However don’t let the waiter railroad your into ordering everything at once, it’s rude and not at all how the kitchen actually works but they try to impose this on unsuspecting tourists.
Never been to a better restaurant in my life. Food was great and the service was unmatchable.
Food was aight the noodles tasted like dog food #chefboyardee, the service was rushed, and all the food looked quite unappetizing. Wish it turned out better but I had to say it.
Mr. chow is the worst restaurant i’ve ever been to. The proportions are minuscule for a ridiculous price. The crispy shredded beef was fried air, absolutely no beef. I received 4 pieces of broccoli for $25. Save your money and don’t go here.
Food is so overrated. There was nothing we had that would make me want to come back. Duck was dry, the “famous” noodles are strange and don’t go with the theme at all, they taste like they have bolognese sauce on them. Chicken dish lacked flavor. And wait staff keeps pushing water bottles every 2 minutes.
So so, bland food in a beautiful atmosphere. I wouldn’t go back
Definitely worth the price tag for a special occasion!
Cat fish defines this place. Looks great but service and food are sub par.
Food was below average, can get better Chinese food at your local Chinese restaurant. Was truly the worse dining experience we’ve had in Miami. Don’t get me started about the price
It was a great experience!
The food was horrible in quality and taste. It was worse than a Chinese buffet at a strip mall. The portions were small for family style servings, but frankly the overall appearance and quality of the food was extremely poor. I went to Mr. Chow’s when it first opened, many years ago, and I recall the food was good. We returned, years later, and were extremely disappointed. We will not be going again.
Absolutely shocked by the small portion size and the blandness of most dishes. Everything seemed over-processed, reheated, and over priced. $299 for 2 people and we did not even get a bottle of wine. I avoid chains in general but PF Chang’s is way better in every way than Mr. Chow’s!
Absolutely awful. Food was so mediocre, table was way too small. They kept bringing food out when there was clearly not enough room, this should have been staged in time increments. Service was slow and allergies were not met (dairy, nuts and shellfish). Will not be dining here again. Ever.
The food was terrible... I was so disappointed...
Anniversary and birthday
Hostess not friendly! Captain took too long to come to table. Food taste mediocre. Price too high
Vacation- tourist trap!!
