All great. Brian is a pro.
We were not pleased that we could not select the items from the menu that we were interested in eating.
wonderful place, great food as always.
love the place. super recommend
Gamblers Duck was an outstanding half bird with crisp skin covering succulent meat. The lamb shank was very good but a bit dry. An al a carte vegetable plate for two was delicious and necessary as the main corse consists of the meat only. Luxurious setting, real silverware. Enormous, beautiful florals but unfortunately, someone didn’t have enough knowledge to NOT have lilies in a dining room. The intense fragrance permeated the room drowning all food aromas, which is an integral part of eating and drinking.
The food was wonderful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful they were there when needed but also knew how to give us some personal space the tables were spaced out enough so that you could have your own place without having to listen to other people’s conversations the food was perfect at first it looks like a very small plate of food but the food is extremely filling which was not a bad thing at all in fact it was probably one of the restaurants best quality’s.
One of my favorite restaurants in Miami. Excellent service, delicious food. I love Mr. Chow
The food was delcious. The service felt like we were being rushed out
So we arrived a little late however called and we’re told to wait at the bar while they found the maître d’ , there were plenty of open tables in the restaurant however they would not sit us until they found him
Which tool over 20 minutes, once he arrived everybody was extremely accommodating and servers were fantastic and the staff was amazing however we had the theater to go to so we had to digest our food very quickly and could not thoroughly enjoy it . I don’t understand how such a great restaurant like this can come to a complete standstill and only one maître d’ when they were plenty of tables ??the two girls at the front we’re just sitting around doing nothing completely useless
I complement the staff for getting us out on time however we would’ve liked not to have rushed or food down
Insanely overpriced. Food was poor to mediocre and for $100 a person. Beyond a disappointment
Great in all respects.
It never disappoints. Wonderful We love going there whenever we are in Miami
My wife, toddler and I went to dinner at Mr Chow while in Miami on vacation. Food was excellent and ambiance classy. They were very accommodating of our toddler for a fancier restaurant.
It was my birthday dinner with husband and 10 month old baby. The staff were superb accommodating us. The food was very good, the decor and ambience was very special, with impeccably mannered staff.
Excellent service .. lots of fun . Great for people watching and the food was amazing !! I especially loved the Shanghai Little Dragons just like in Shanghai .
Appalling and overpriced, snotty staff who look down on you from the moment you walk in.
A starter served as a main was refused even after a heated argument.
Go to Nobu and avoid Mr Chows 0/10
Have been to Mr chow on several occasions
Always excellent experience
Food is ok but quite pricey
Mr Chow has long been one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. That said, there were a number of question marks on my last visit.
* Salt and pepper shrimp has always been a stand-out. Not this time-it was missing its signature crunchiness and was soggy. It tasted like it was reheated and old.
* Avoid lobster vermicelli, it’s insipid and uninteresting, and you can’t find the lobster even if you use a microscope. I wonder what the point if this dish is.
* The wine list is over priced and not up to par. They used to have an interesting Albarino at $45 but it’s now off the list to push diners to more expensive choices.
* The prix fix dinners including the Peking Duck at $78 per person includes a vegetable choice. The problem is that the portion is the same whether thete are 1,2,3 or 4 diners. For $78 per person why nickel and dime patrons and not give each a side if vegetables? It’s a very short sighted approach.
Such potential at this restaurant, but also too many decisions made by accountants when the bill for 3 was over $500.....
Great service!!5 stars... maybe for the 5+servers that waited on us all night. Inside seating is stunning and energetic while outside seating is more quaint and quiet... didn't know I was on the city street!! We add ctually started inside and our server moved our party outside. Food was superb! Loved the glazed prawns w walnuts! Yes it is pricey.. we are in South beach!!
This was my second time a
@ Mr.Chow's. The tasting menu is amazing, but the service was too fast. As we were in a samll table for 5, we were not able to enjoy every step of the meal as we should have. One waiter spilled wine two times while serving our table, but the other one was impecable.
This wasn’t my first tine at Mr. Chow, I really like the ambiance. The food is pretty good, just wish the menu print was a bit larger to read. I also think the wait staff should be able to explain or suggest according to your desires. I would recommend if you have never been, beware it’s a bit pricey. It’s definitely worth going at least once if only to be led to your table by the elegantly dressed male captain. After that you’re covered with all kinds of staff getting drinks, water, appetizers, etc. check it out, it’s a fun kind of place with decent artsy Chinese food.
Glamour and high gourmet experience “Chinese. “
Overpriced. Bad value.
Good lively atmosphere
I went there for my birthday and was treated with the utmost respect and hospitality. It was my mother's first time and now she wants to go there for mother's day and her birthday. She was especially impressed by the veggies and she's very hard to impress. Thank you for a wonderful birthday dinner I will be back!
I always make sure to have dinner here every time I come to Miami. Love the food, great atmosphere! I always do their lychee martini, my all time favorite. This time I tried the Mr. Chows Reserve and loved it! I love a good cab and will be ordering in the future!
First time here. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. Knowing this is an expensive restaurant before we ate here was understood. However, the portions were ridiculously small. Insulting for the very high prices. Even with the great food (what little there was of it) and the great service, I will never go back here again. I can drop good coin elsewhere and not feel completely ripped off.
Medium-quality cuisine. Nice atmosphere
Absolutely horrible experience. Waiter neglected our table. Didn’t take drink orders and forgot to bring out food. Everything was later dumped on table and waiter never returned. Food was awful as well and served cooled. Been here multiple times before but never had such an awful experience like this. For a restaurant of this standard, the level of service was absolutely unacceptable.
We made a reservation for 8:30 PM and were only seated at the table at 10:50 PM. Several people arrived after we were seated before us. We complained several times to the receptionist and she simply ignored us. When we sat at the table and went to make our orders there were already several dishes unavailable. The waiter was rushing us. The food was awful and cold. Restaurant very expensive and with food and service crap.
Service and food impeccable
Probably the worst chinese food I've ever had...bland, dry, overcooked....filet mignon was definitely a lesser cut of meat, chicken lettuce cups were so dry they tasted like cornflakes with plum sauce, shrimp friend rice for two had 3 shrimp in it and nothing else, waiter took forever to come to our table and then was also absent when we wanted to order another drink, etc. We spent 10 days in miami beach and every other meal we had at all the other top other restaurants was excellent, but Mr. Chow stunk!
Always a great time dining at Mr Chow...especially when cocktails are prepared by Albert
Dusko always provides excellent service! From valet to dining it is an experience to remember!
Grear food greatvservice great ambiance
Service and food 100%
Had a wonderful dinner with my husband. I recommend the Beijing Chicken. It was nice and romantic. The food and service was great! Drinks are on the pricey end but that’s south beach for you. Overall we had a great time and will definitely go there again.
