MR CHOW - Miami Ratings and Reviews
I always make sure to have dinner here every time I come to Miami. Love the food, great atmosphere! I always do their lychee martini, my all time favorite. This time I tried the Mr. Chows Reserve and loved it! I love a good cab and will be ordering in the future!
Absolutely horrible experience. Waiter neglected our table. Didn’t take drink orders and forgot to bring out food. Everything was later dumped on table and waiter never returned. Food was awful as well and served cooled. Been here multiple times before but never had such an awful experience like this. For a restaurant of this standard, the level of service was absolutely unacceptable.
Probably the worst chinese food I've ever had...bland, dry, overcooked....filet mignon was definitely a lesser cut of meat, chicken lettuce cups were so dry they tasted like cornflakes with plum sauce, shrimp friend rice for two had 3 shrimp in it and nothing else, waiter took forever to come to our table and then was also absent when we wanted to order another drink, etc. We spent 10 days in miami beach and every other meal we had at all the other top other restaurants was excellent, but Mr. Chow stunk!
I dined at Mr. CHOW last year with a group. It was excellent. Friday night, not at all. I was so disappointed especially since I touted it so much to my friend. After the beverage waiter pushed the very expensive champagne trolly, the head waiter came by to push the $66/person two course menu. We did not want that much food . As it is a sharing plate restaurant we wanted the famous MR. CHOW noodles ($21), the crab-corn soup ($20) and the crispy duck as entree. When we went to order this with the head waiter, he told us we needed one more for the $66 rate. We told him, no this is what we want. He told us that we needed to order another bowl of soup ($20) as it was for one. We disagreed. The noodles came - small plate of mushy spaghetti with a smattering of chopped pork. The soup arrived ($20) - think of a small cereal bowl size and one spoon. We asked for an additional spoon and the back waiter had to ask permission it seemed to get another spoon. The crab was invisible, both in flavor and meat. The crispy duck was good. We were so disappointed in the food, attitude and unpleasant dining experience. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Unfortunate because MR CHOW has such a good reputation. But not in Miami!
By far the worst restaurant i have been at. Where do i start... places 7 people in a small table that hardly fits 5, waiter was extremely rude, food was nasty and small portions, i could have ate at Panda Express and gotten way better food. Paid almost 600$ for the worst food I've had in Miami. @mrchow your restaurant needs to be shut down!!
Worst experience ever!!! One star is more than what they deserve ! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL
This was literally the WORST restaurant experience in my 32 years of life. Everything about it from us having to wait an hour after or scheduled reservation. To the "manager" rushing us to our seats. The amount of time we had to wait for our order to be taken....to not ever receiving half of what we ordered to still being charged for it with no apologies whatsoever. That is not even the half of it. My birthday was completely ruined. I will be contacting corporate.
The food is alright. Not Chinese, not Wester. I had lamb that was very dry. Even with the sauce, they brought. The ink squid was good, but not outstanding. It's a flashy, but NOT elegant place. The worst thing is the proximity to the table next to you. We were a couple and where dining with the couple to our right and the couple to our left. Not a place to take your partner and not a romantic place at all.
The worst service I have experienced in a very long time. The restaurant is full of servers but it is impossible to get someone to come over or actually serve. They take forever to refill the water remove food plates and respond to any request. Food was fair, absolutely nothing special for the premium price. The ambient is extremely loud. It would be easier to talk in a club. The space is also extremely tight and plates and cups are always being broken around you. Do not recommend.
The service was very poor. Food took a while to come and came at odd times (the rice came right at the very end when we were finished eating our mains) asked for a drink 3 times and didn't arrive before we left. Asked for the bill 3 times also before it eventually came.
