Having loved Mr Chow locations in Manhattan we where looking forward to trying the Miami restaurant.
Arrogance by the young staff can be fatal to a restaurant with mediocre food and they don’t even realize it
Dinner with business colleagues. Outstanding as usual from Mr Chow. Service very good - not as good as usual but it was a busy evening.
The soup dumplings were sooo yummy. Excellent meal all around. We had the Gamblers duck - just perfect, same as the chicken. Both the Mr. Chow noodles and the sautéed rice were also delicious side additions. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Mr Chow Miami was amazing, the staff were so nice and the food was great.
Go and Go again and again...we enjoyed it immensely ...get the Duck!
Service and ambiance at Mr. Chow was great! Our waiter, Alex, was very friendly and informative.
The food was overpriced for the quality, but still good.
We had a terrible experience. We were seated and waited 25 minutes for someone to take our orders and another 40 minutes before any food arrived. People who were seated after our party were served before us. The food was fine but not spectacular. Very expensive and tiny portions. A big disappointment.
Great food as always, sorry to say the service was terrible.
Been here at least a dozen times. Always great food and memorable experience.
One of our favorite restaurants when we come to Miami
Crazy Saturday night I'm sure due to the weather outside eliminating seating. Took over a half hour to just get through the line to check into the hostess stand for our 9:00 pm reservation. Once we made it that far it was only 10 minutes more before we were seated. The staff was very attentive and did a nice job of guiding us through the menu. The food unfortunately was just average which means for the price it was a poor value. The best thing we consumed was the short ribs and they were not outstanding. Probably give it another try some time to make sure it wasn't just an off night in the kitchen.
Was absolutely awful. Didn’t even get to eat. My wife and I had an 8:30 reservation. When we got to the restaurant at 8:30 the crowd around the hostess was so crazy we didn’t talk to her until 8:50. Then she tells us to be patient as there were people with 8:00 reservations that hadn’t sat yet. I told her the system is broken and she agreed. And then the valet wanted to charge me $25 for 20 mins. I live in Miami Beach and I’m telling all visitors do not waste your time. There are so many better options that do not have this crap. Was a total mess.
Not what I expected. The food is not that good. The lychee martinis were weak. I had like 6 of them and wasn't drunk. Ordered lobster and lots of pieces weren't even meat. Just shells. They sat us in the "family" section with a bunch of toddler tables. Go to Nobu instead!
There was a wait for people with reservations. They seemed over booked because of rain maybe
They sat us after a 1 hour wait and did not apologize about it. The manager, Stefan, was extremely arrogant, rude, and condescending.
Way too crowded. Everyone was on top of each other. Tables were way too close to one another. Only saw our server twice throughout the dinner. Water glass was always empty. I’ve been there many times and the servers are always welcoming. This time not one person greeted our party. Very disappointed with the serve. Food was still excellent
We waited 80 minutes for our table to celebrate my daughters 17th birthday and the table never came available. Not the evening I wanted her to have! The hostess didn’t do much to reassure us and no one seemed to care. That’s what happens when your reputation exceeds the actual experience, you get arrogant and forget what’s most important - your customers.,
The worst experience. We waited for an hour and a half for our 8 pm reservation. The hostess was incompetent. She kept saying that she would find us at the bar. She didn’t even try. We went to the stand 3-4 x. It was ridiculous. We went to the concierge at the hotel to try to find a back u plan. The city was sold out so there was no hope. It ruined our weekend and I e the ere from out of town. Never ever g here. I lived in so many great cities - New York City, iToronto and bow chichi. Ridiculous ! And the food wasn’t even good. They should be embarrassed. I would never take clients here , ever
Table wasn’t ready on time. We wait like hundred people at the bar for hours! It not serious or respectful at all. People were eating with other people behind there back. I mean literally!
Food was average. Below average for the price. Chicken Satay under cooked
Server was great, but the food came out really slow
Want to feel like you are eating mediocre food on a cruise ship then book a reservation at this pathetic “restaurant”. Hakkasan, Novikov and Komodo are at similar price points, but are on the opposite end of the spectrum when considering food quality, service, ambiance and value.
Always very professional
Outstanding service and food!
Great food. Good service. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Always amazing food and service.
i have to day that this is a great place to be , fancy crowd , great ambiance and delicious food ..
stuff is very welcoming and Brian Murati is the best host ever ..
i love mr Chow
The entire staff were extremely attentive and helpful. We brought along our infant son and were very accommodating. Will definitely return when we come back to Miami.
Drinks and food are delicious! Use the prie fixed to save money.
The night before super bowl, so you know it’s going to be rough night. Don’t allow reservations if you can’t keep up. Waited an hour for table of two. Food is very good, but prices are too much. Place is a scene and half with celebs, good looking people and music pumping. You’re paying for experience.
La música exageradamente alta y fea
Brian is the BEST host. Always takes very good care of me. Thank you very much fir a great night.
Vibrant place, busy and elegant a bit too noisy to have a conversation with friends. Table ready On time despite the crowd. Excellent service. Limited and expensive wine list. Some surprisingly very good dishes ( green prawns, black ink noodles) the rest being very Chinese but good. Overall good evening a bit more expensive than the average good restaurants of south beach.
Hugely disappointed - the waitstaff is trained to coax you into ordering huge portions of food at inflated prices. The "family style" tasting menu is the biggest rip off ever. And if you dare order "a la carte" you are told in no uncertain terms you are making a huge mistake.
Also, the food arrives within 60 seconds of being ordered. This gives a very poor impression that it's just sitting under heat lamps. And then everything arrives back to back all at once, with no space left on the table. One is left with the impression that we are supposed to eat and run. Too many great restaurants in Miami Beach to put up with paying over $100 per person for mediocre food. Never again
Perfect duck. Exceptional service Would love to revisit soon
It was a Super Bowl dinner treat.
Always incredible but need to slow down on guest dining experience.
Service was great.
We loved it. Staff very attentive, great recommendations and food was excellent
Great service, great food..prix fix was wonderful..it was a business dinner. All were impressed. Would return and I've already recommended to a couple of people.
Once upon a time I really loved Mr. Chow, the food is excellent but the portions are almost comical at times for the amount of money that you spend. Don't trust the menu pricing online, the prices are much higher but then again maybe its just the absolutely absurdity of it being in Miami where they try to bang you 18% auto gratuity when its less than 6 people, 2 people for that matter. Super scammy in Miami...
I have been a few times and this past time kinda put the nail in the coffin for me as I don't remember the portions being this ridiculously small. I had a reservation at Prime 112 down the street and should have went there, way more bang for the buck there with mind blowing food.
More than likely will not be back when in Miami because there are way better options for that kinda cash and portion size.
