   Annisa and the entire staff couldn’t be nicer! We are always warmly welcomed and the service is exceptional. They even remember what we order each time. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants.

    Good Chinese food if you're craving it . Surprised at the rice and certain dishes that were average but the duck was amazing . We would go back just for that !

    Went to Mr Chow 16 years ago when visiting Los Angeles. The meal was quite memorable to my entire family. Now that I recently moved to LA, I went back with my parents when they came to visit. I couldn't remember exactly what we ate 16 years ago but the second we sat down all of these amazing nostalgic memories came back to us including the classic menu items. We had a few new things and were not disappointed including the Lobster Shumai, which was absolutely spectacular. The cripy beef was quite excellent as well. I was skeptical after the first bite because the pieces were smaller and I felt there was more crisp than meaty. However, there is a subtle savory flavor that kicked in and I have been craving it ever since.

    Always a stellar meal accompanied by an amazing staff. Compared to the Beverly Hills location, its a much more relaxed environment but same quality across the board. Love love love Anecia- she makes the meal a personalized experience.

    The maitre d was awesome. So sweet and accommodating for our kids but the food was awful and the portions small for such a high high price. Feels like a pretentious, go-to-be-seen place with extremely sub-par food.

    We have been to NYC version many times over the last 30+ years. We enjoyed the entire experience in Malibu. I had been to the Malibu location once before & was familiar with the pricing. We had the tall AA waitress who was most helpful. I committed the cardinal sin by mentioning that I had read the prior reviews & had been shocked to see many 5's however also more 1's than I had expected. I explained that our party wanted the "5" experience. She was polite, did not appear offended, and delivered as we had hoped. Best food , along with Nobu, that we had on this trip.     Went for my spouses birthday, she's been wanting to go for a long time now and Mr. Chow's did not disappoint. The service was fantastic, we felt as if we were the only ones in the restaurant. Food was very good, however we were expecting to be wowed a little based on the price tag. Overall, we would go back as it was a great night out.

    My husband and I drove from Santa Barbara where we live and decided to treat ourselves to dinner. We ordered the Ma mignon and lobster with black pepper as main entrees along with bbq pork spareribs and lobster shumai for starters. The chili pepper sauce was smoky and spicy but not too overpowering where you could still taste the flavorful pork spareribs without any need for sweet and sour sauce. The lobster shumai was delicately seasoned and we asked for low sodium soy sauce for more taste. We both loved the fried rice which was fragrant and filled with large succulent pieces of shrimp without being loaded and bathed in soy sauce. The fluffy fried rice helped bring out the natural enjoyment of the other foods and it was served in a generous size container with adequate portions for two people! The black pepper lobster was so freshly prepared and tasted mildly of the ocean. It’s hard to find gourmet whole lobster prepared in a Mandarin Chinese restaurant outside Chinatown. We really enjoyed the tender slices of filet mignon in a succulent red sauce that was not at all salty. We were disappointed that we had to order a different bottle of wine that the waiter suggested since they were out of the Rodney Strong Reserve we wanted to drink. Instead we ordered the 2013 Ferrari Carrano Tresor Sonoma County red wine which delightfully brought out the natural flavors of our meal and elevated our senses even greater. Our waiter was attentive and provided excellent customer service and frequently checked on us about our dining experience. Overall, the restaurant exceeded our expectations and we will be returning again soon!! It’s hard to find gourmet Chinese food outside the city living out here off PCH- Pacific Coast Highway 1!!

    I was in town with customers and wanted a nice place to have dinner. The food at Mr. Chow was exceptional, the service was 5 star all the way around. I loved the crispy duck and green prawns, the soup dumplings were a great experience. Our waiter was very informative in helping us to make suggestions for our meal.

    We were looking for the dinner because this famous restaurant. It is really a great experience that night. The service is great, the food is gorgeous, all of us very enjoy it. Only one thing, there is fly inside the room, I know it is because the door is open to outside caused it. but still, it is better no fly show up.

    Not the same restaurant as the Beverly Hills location. The fried rice is legitimately better at Panda Express. The noodles are soggy and taste like microwaved day old pasta. The duck was over cooked. The vegetables had absolutely no flavor. The only thing like the original Mr Chow are the long white table clothes that the servers wear.

    I absolutely love Mr.Chow Malibu .. it is definitely one of our favorites, if not THE favorite of our family. They could not be lovelier,the food is delicious, service impeccable and the drinks perfection. I PRAY they stay in Malibu once their lease is up, as it a gem in our community.

    The Maitre 'D was just wonderful; she helped us tremendously. We were a party of 6 and cramped at a table for 4. We asked for slow service of the food items due to lack of table space; this did not happen. The food was good but not great, and very expensive. We are Malibu residents and have come several times and we are sorry to be so critical to a local establishment. The Beverly Hills Mr Chow is much better overall.
