Antonio and serving team were 6 stars!! Every server had attention for detail.
Great tasting, fresh Asian cuisine. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Loved our waiter’s suggestions for our meal, and the Bartender was a personable friendly guy. Not always the case in at an upscale restaurant.
Mr. Chow never disappoints, great food, service is attentive yet friendly and the ambiance is as good as it gets in Los Angeles. I have been a regular for twenty five years and I cannot go long without a visit. It is a true Gem in Beverly Hills.
We were celebrating a special birthday and I made note of that when I making the reservation. When the two of us arrived the restaurant looked a bit old and rundown, the food was nothing better then mediocre, the service was the same. Our waiter disappeared and didn’t come check on us. I had to track him down to make sure that the birthday celebration was acknowledged with a surprise cake. Only when I asked for the check did they finally bring over a very underwhelming slice of cake, no plating, no frills, just a slice of cake with a candle. To top it off they charged us $12 for that slice of cake! It was a really disappointing night, the bill was over $100 for one split entree of steamed sea bass, one side of seasonal vegetables and two drinks. We will never be back.
This was the perfect dining experience. Everything from staff to food to dessert. Thank you for making us feel so special & apprciated.
This is one of our favorite restaurants..never a disappointment .. great food and ambience .Chris always takes good care of us there
Really disappointed with how long we had to wait for our table (even though we made a reservation weeks in advance and noted it was a bday celebration). The bar was completely full so we could not even get a drink, and no one offered us a glass of wine, even after waiting for 30 min past our reservation time. When I mentioned something to the manager, the response was "Well this is a Saturday night." No apology or attempt to make up for the long wait. I think it could have been handled better. Service thereafter was also not very attentive. Enjoyed the food very much though.
Everyone was lovely and accommodating.
Maitre De could not have been kinder.
Have never been and thought we were going to have a fine dining experience given the price and history.
However, the food was spectacularly bad.
Very disappointing. ( one of the noodle dishes had over cooked pasta and a sauce that made us all think we were in an Italian cafeteria) nothing was outstanding or fine.
Food was over cooked
Price too much
Not worth returning
We hadn't been to Mr. Chow's for DECADES... which made us feel pretty foolish after experiencing a wonderful evening there with good friends. It should have been on our "favs" list for years and years. It is now. We were a party of four, so we ordered four appetizers (ribs, potstickers, shu mai, noodles) and four entrees (lamb with scallions, drunken fish, Beijing Chicken and duck). All were terrific... really terrific. And on top of that, the portions were not skimpy; we even ended up taking some leftovers home. We look forward to visiting again soon.
Mr. Chow did not disappoint. From the moment I entered the door, the service was impeccable. Whisked away to my table and the attention given to me as a solo diner was wonderful. My beverage, an avion margarita made to my delight was fabulous! On to my dining experience, I selected the chicken satay, Mr. Chow’s noodles, the corn and crab soup and the box and everything was simply delicious. Not a fan of the honey glazed shrimp with walnuts. There is definitely more to try so I will plan another visit to MR. Chow.
While it is a place to see and be seen...the food was REALLY good. The bar area is tiny, so don't plan on getting there early and sitting at the bar.
the food and service was great...the tables are really too close together
this poorly effected the dinner...but i would go back
The food was great!! Our waiter suggested the $70 price fixe.(per person) We had two appetizers, vegetables, and entrees. Our waiter suggested the chicken satay(melted in our mouth), candied prawns and walnuts, fried rice, broccoli, fiery beef, and the sea bass. It was perfect!!! Our waiter gave us enough space so we could enjoy our meal.
Poor service. Felt very rushed. Dismissed us after we asked for the DineLA menu. Very unfortunate.
Everything was good. I especially liked the crispy beef.
Great decor, wonderful interior design, absolutely outstanding service, elegant, stylish, informative descriptions of food courses. Beautiful dining experience.
It's been a few years since I was last here and I was disappointed. Service seemed rushed and impersonal. There were cords and stuff under my feet at my table which was uncomfortable and odd. The experience seemed dated and disappointing.
All around great experience. We will be back!
Food was delicious. Our server was very helpful in helping us pick out what we would like as we were first time costumers. I did mention it was a birthday dinner & they failed to recognize the occasion - only bad aspect of the visit,
