MR CHOW - 57th
The menu at MR CHOW is a combination of old authentic Beijing, Original Recipes, and the signature dishes such as Chicken Satay, MR CHOW Noodles, and Ma Mignon. MR CHOW also serves one of the best Beijing Ducks in the world.
The famous nightly handmade noodle show is presented in every location since the opening of London in 1968.

Spent my birthday evening here with my sister ----- a great spot, great food, great wine, and great service --- the host could not of been nicer. All around a wonderful evening, we had such a fun time. Mr Chow does not disappoint. I had been to their Miami location, and was eager to see how their NYC location compared. They were both phenomenal!
Fantastic food, and service and the noodle making show was awesome!
Very nice atmosphere with a superb and knowledgeable maitre D, Andrei. Food exceptionally well prepared and very tasty. Good sized portions. Can get very pricey but worth a revisit.
Lovely dining room and well trained staff. Dinner was excellent. I had the friend beef and coconut ice cream. Loved both.
Very loud, could not hear my friend from across the table, menu is confusing, service was good but the food and drinks were not worth the price at all.
This was a true find - the staff, the food, the experience was phenomenal
Kevin was the greatest waiter I have ever encountered in my life. I wish I could bring him with me to every restaurant I eat in to brighten my experience. 5/5 would return.
Greatly overpriced. My wife and I went there for a celebration with the peking duck but they serve it only to parties of 3 and above. Sad!
Best ever . Been there 3 times and will go again .
Fabulous food. Unique choices. Great service.
Terrific experience......excellent food.....great service
Dinner is a bit over rated. Very expensive ($500 4 guests).
We had a pre fix with 4 appetizers and 4 entrees. The chicken satay was very good and Me Chow’s noodles was excellent. Our standout entrees includes the Green Prawns, Crjspy Duck with pancakes. We found the signature dish Ma Mignon over rated and not to our liking. For a special occasion we’d return for drinks and appetizers only.
Mr Chow is an authentic experience with consistent incredible food My family loves the food and the ambience We have dined at Mr Chow in Malibu Beverly Hills Miami Las Vegas Tribeca and 57th Street All are delicious and the service is great i am from Philly and we try to go when we come to NYC It always seems the waiter remembers us every time we go I recommend everyone to eat at Mr Chow at least once in a lifetime! I
Great Chinese food. There is a crispy duck option as well as peking duck that goes with pancakes. Good selection of dishes and very similar to the good Chinese food you get in London.
Great service! Great staff. Always love the food at Mr. Chow.
Perfect as always!
Little disappointed in some of the food honestly. We were recommended the crispy beef by our waiter and it was more fried coating than beef. Pretty disappointing for the reputation of the restaurant and the high quality we expected for the price. We also had the sea bass which was pretty good! For appetizers we did the spare ribs and shrimp rolls. Those two were also pretty good. Nothing was as spectacular as we had hope or experienced before at a different location though.
Much too overpriced. Had been years ago and it was lovely but I guess I forgot how ridiculously priced it was for Chinese food! By no means worth it!
As always, we had an absolutely wonderful dinner with impeccable service. When we come to NYC we make it a point to go to Mr. Chow’s.
I have never had a bad experience at Mr. Chow, and this evening was a true testament to that! We had the best service with wonderful food that created a perfect evening I'll always be able to cherish. If you don't order the duck, you are missing out! Thank you for always providing the best experience and most delicious meal!
Excellent service ; attentive and professional . food never disappoints
The most delicious Chinese food in NYC! Let the wait staff order for you -- you will be happy!
Amazing food and attention to detail great place for a special date or birthday
Exceptional experience, everytime! Woudl happily recommend to anyone.
Good Chinese and some fabulous dishes but top end of price and not sure it was worth the money. Would recommend for star spotting! Waiters were attentive and very helpful in ordering decisions.
Fantastic service and excellent food. It is perfect for a date, birthday or anniversary.
Such a great experience!!
Simply all around wonderful!
I have been going for over 20 years and I still enjoy it as if it was the first time. I know what I getting and it’s always up to the same standard as it was 20 years ago.
Waited 45min to be seated. Went for Mother’s Day, completely ruined experience
Everyone was really nice and the food was great...I enjoyed my birthday dinner ! Thanks:)
Guess MR CHOW is a classic already, Restaurant looks like in a time back, but very nice... food is always great and the service is very good. We had a great experience the moment we came in till we left - a bit on the expensive side, but what is not expensive in NY. I really can recommend this Restaurant, in my opinion the "Best" of the MR CHOWS Restaurants. Enjoy.
The food was great but the service was not up to standard, i’ve been to most of the mr chow chains around the world but this was the least satisfying experience
My favorite all around the world
Service and food are beyond amazing
The food was not good as usual
There price per drink is very high . Glass of champagne ridiculous
Restaurant bruant et cher. Trop surfait. Et finalement dans l’assiette vraiment pas bon. On nous a ramené un canard froid avec des pancake frois et finalement il n’y avait que le gout de la sauve. Je ne comprend vraiment pas le succes de cet etablissement!
Wow, Mr. Chow. What impeccable service. That alone makes it worth going. The food is very good, but the portions are small for a Chinese restaurant. We had a variety of menu items and enjoyed them all. The shocker is the price. $20 for a cup of soup. It’s easy to spend $100 per person not including drinks. This is the most expensive Chinese food ever. The place was packed to the gills and very loud. Ambience is nice. If your not on a budget I recommend giving Mr. Chow a try.
Excelent food, great service. Definitely to repeat!
