MR CHOW - 57th
The menu at MR CHOW is a combination of old authentic Beijing, Original Recipes, and the signature dishes such as Chicken Satay, MR CHOW Noodles, and Ma Mignon. MR CHOW also serves one of the best Beijing Ducks in the world.
The famous nightly handmade noodle show is presented in every location since the opening of London in 1968.

Not Chinese food
First clue: tables set with forks. Soup dumplings and potstickers quite mediocre. Steamed sea bass and fiery beef without flavor. Terrific service, but not good enough to make up for food.
Our dinner was delicious and the entire dining experience was superb. If would have also been nice if they asked if we celebrating anything special...It was my birthday and we were so swept up in the moment we forgot to mention it. I would like to see a few more interesting vegetarian options on the menu, since by boyfriend is vegetarian. My favorite dishes include the Ma Migon, Blue Crab, Green Shrimp and the Chicken Satay is a must try.
The food was amazing and I really liked the decor. Service was attentive except they were pulling plates away before we even finished chewing. A little pricey. I would return and it would be fun with another couple or group.
Maitre d’ was charming!
Fabulous food with wonderful staff! I would highly recommend.
Food is amazing. Service could be better. Constantly picking up plates etc while we where eating
Fabulous evening . Menu, service, ambience and quality were faultless . Chinese at its finest .
I have been a client of Mr. Chow for at least 30 years at least. The crispy beef was all but crispy! Being crispy is part of the taste. The gamblers duck came to the table much colder than normal. The pancakes have become smaller. The greens were not tasty. The chicken satay was good and also the squab with lettuce.
Nothing special except for the high prices for average food.
Amazing Chinese food, they make you feel like royalty! Well done!
What a fabulous experience celebrating my birthday. Everyone was so attentive and nice. Our maitre D’ Miguel was amazing. Made terrific recommendations. Can’t wait to return!
Perfect experience ill go again for sure
Fue una experiencia extraña. El restaurante tiene atención muy amable y profesional, pero su interiorismo evoca remotamente la cultura china. Los precios muy elevados para la calidad de los platos que probamos.
Everything was Excellent
Great food! Great service!
Birthday dinner. Never disappointed at Mr Chow!
Food was good as always. Just loud and small spaces.
Very nice Chinese cuisine restaurant, service is perfect, thanks to the server Andrey his advise was super nice , duck made perfectly, thanks to guys !
A perfect evening. invisable efficient service. delicate delightful tastes.
Wait too long. Staff did not keep us updated. Once seated they just left us there and we had to keep flagging them to ask for stuff.
We love Mr. Chow.
Duck was excellent. Asparagus and bean sprouts was outstanding.
Birthday of a friend
Great night, service ambience, and food outstanding!
Food and service were amazing!
As amazing today as it was when I first came here 30 years ago
Very attentive service, very accommodating, nice portions. Well prepared and tasty food.
Absolutely Fabulous! Will definitely eat there again when I return to New York. We have been raving to family and friends since returning home. Might make a visit to Miami location.
Fantastic!Loved it❤️Atmosphere,the service,the food-oh the food-superb!Will be back!!
Mr. Chow’s on 57th in NYC is amazing! Great ambiance, food, and attentive service. It’s great for dinner with family/friends, dates, or to celebrate special occasions! It’s one of our favorite places to dine.
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND MR CHOW TO A FRIEND
Great Food and service. The Host was amazing! Celebrated our sons graduation and he's off to Penn State University.
Best dining experience of my life! They made me feel like I was a usual customer and a VIP!
The experience was great for this first timer.
Went for NYC Restaurant week. Got there a little before 6 for a 6:00 reservation and the doors were not yet open. But they opened right at 6:00 and I was first person in. Suggested the music was a little loud and the floor manager lowered it right away with a smile!! Water brought to table as well as drink menu until my friend arrived. The food and cocktails were wonderful, the portions substantial for restaurant week where some places create bite plates. As we were leaving I complimented the floor manager on a wonderful and thoughtful job....and got a hug, and a little dance. Left with a sated appetite and stars in my eyes. Will definitely be back.
Had trouble with the chicken dishes but all else was fabulous. Get the nine seasons prawn, it is the best!
Honestly, a disappointing experience. We had 4 different dishes and none of them were “wow”, some were lackluster. The Mr Chow Noodles for example were particularly mediocre, and you can get a better version down the street at Mee’s Noodles for like $10. For the price point and hype that this restaurant has, we were let down.
Additionally, we went for our 1 year anniversary and never had it acknowledged despite indicating it on the reservation.
I’ve been to a lot of upscale restaurants but this by far is my best yet. The environment was so welcoming especially to people of color. The staff were amazing. Since my party and I walked in, the staff were so accommodating. We had an amazing night. The food and ambience were spectacular.
