The menu at MR CHOW is a combination of old authentic Beijing, Original Recipes, and the signature dishes such as Chicken Satay, MR CHOW Noodles, and Ma Mignon. MR CHOW also serves one of the best Beijing Ducks in the world.

Going to NYC, this is always on our list. On our last trip we went twice. Food is always excellent, and service is professional.
The only hiccup was that I had ordered a liter of sparking water for me and my wife and tap for the kids. A server refilled our kids’ glasses with sparkling before we could stop him. He took one away, left the other on the table. Did not replace the bottle and charged us for it anyway. Minor, but very poor form for a restaurant of this standing.
Over pricey. Microwaveable stuff. Told me the champagne was free n charged me later at $22 per glass. Forget it. I cooked better than mr chow. Will never be there again.
We have been eating in Mr. Chow for many many years both in New York and Los Angeles and have always enjoyed it as a wonderful and festive experience. The food has been uneven at times but lately they are really seemed to have found their culinary groove. We've had some excellent meals recently and truly professional and attentive service. A great experience that we recommend heartily.
Overall a great evening!!!!
Amazing meal!!! Satay and duck a must!!!
All the food was good, but the duck was spectacular and will get our group to return.
It was wonderful! Food was great and staff is the best!
The food is spectacular - the oysters, vermicelli with lobster, the box dumplings, my favorites and they never fail to be yummy! My friends all love the steak dishes. It's such a cool place, great vibe and yes, Angie up front, we all love you too!
From start to finish is was a great experience topped by great food
Mr. Chow's was a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding, the food was probably the best Chinese I've had. Although it was a bit pricey, it was worth every penny. We will definitely be returning for special occasions.
From start to finish, our experience at Mr. Chow's was outstanding. The service was highly attentive. Staff makes every guest feel appreciated and special. Our server made excellent suggestions and the food was fresh, flavorful and light. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a special dining experience. You will not be disappointed.
Muy a gusto como siempre. Platillos deliciosos y bien presentados
Food very good especially the Peking Duck. Service was basically non existent. After plates were cleared, we waited 35 minutes and decided to get up. Someone said good night and we replied that we needed to pay our bill. $500 bill and NO service. Terrible experience but delicious food. With so many great options in NYC, no reason to recommend this restaurant or return.
Everything and everyone from start to finish was professional and lovely. It was a special night, and all was well executed and wonderful. The Peking duck was excellent. Thank you for making a special night so much better!
Really a bad experience: noodles were not good, the meat was better but not enough to justify a bill of 195 Dollars. And please note we just had one glass of wine.
They let us reserve a table at 11 and then once we got there, said the kitchen closed at 11:30 and rushed us through the whole dinner. Rude servers, rushed us the whole time. Don’t let someone book a reservation that late if you’re going to rush them through the meal and not let them enjoy the experience.
It’s always a great time!
Food as always very good especially the Peking Duck. Service was a little off this time with waiter refilling wine glass not with our wine, but someone else's less expensive wine. That said, our group had fun and we'll come back.
The service men were not attentive. They serviced the table next to mine that arrived 15 minutes after us. They continued to bump into our seats, neglected beverage refills, and rushed to take plates off of the table.
I travel and eat at some of the best restaurants around the world and the service at this restaurant was incredible!
Oh and the food was amazing too : )
The food was exquisite! The only complain is that the place can get pretty loud, but overall, this place is great!
Fantastic from start to finish
The most over rated Chinese I have ever had. Nothing special about it to warrant the price. Food was no better than any other decent Chinese restaurant.
Tired and old location, cracks in wall...chipped paint, and not remodeled since 1980. Very disappointing.
I’ve never had worse or more expensive Chinese food in my life. We ordered the specialty Ma Mignon medium rare, and it arrived bloody rare and unedible. The worst service I’ve ever experienced. We had to ask 3 different waiters for the check and waited about 20 minutes. The tables are tiny and cramped, and it’s so noisy we couldn’t hear each other. This is a restaurant to be seen at, and nothing else. The food at Panda Express is so much better! Will never return.
Great food and service, lots of fun. Not very big, family friendly
Best service I have ever had. Me chows noodles and chicken satay apps were very good. Beijing chicken was the best
Food was not good, the waiter was not so kind, the room was cold, the place was normal and the price was absolutely too high, we will never get back sorry.
The food was really good and the portions was just enough the service was impeccable and they were very attentive
Been going to this place for over 20 years and I've never been disappointed. Outstanding service and buzzing atmosphere. I love it!
Food was delicious but overall...Overpriced. Overrated. Period. Will no visit Manhattan location again.
The worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had
Fabulous! Not sure why we had to have three appetizers to get the duck for two....way too much food...but very very good
Our food was cold. Lettuce for the wraps was brown. I like Mr. chow’s perhaps it was 30 mins before closing.
Amazing experience. Outstanding food and impeccable service.
We come regularly to Mr.Chow 57th Street. Tried Mr. Chow Tribeca. Not the same.
Mr. Chow 57th is always the best. A classic.
The service was exceptional, the staff was very polite and very timely. And the food was impeccable
We arrived early and expressed concern over our cramped table. The server declined to move us—but the hostess immediately sat two four-tips with couples. Plenty of space for them. I was bumped or kicked by servers on the order of 30 times. Dumplings were at best average. Would not recommend this venue.
