I enjoy going to Mr. Chow. The food id good. The service is wonderful. My only complaint is the prices are insane and not in a good way. The food is yummy, the hand made noodle show is fun the lychee martini are good. We had the chicken satay, fried rice, broccoli, sea bass and a shrimp dish, our portions were small. The amount you pay for the food does not match the quantity. If you have disposable income or a expense account then by all means go to MR CHOW.

Mr. Chow is by far one of my favorite restaurants in New York for many reasons but one in particular that the service is outstanding even on the busiest of nights. Unfortunately, the service was extremely lacking on during my visit which was incredibly disappointing. Regardless, the food and drinks were outstanding as always. I look forward to returning with better service.

They say they are open till 11:30 pm so we made an after theater reservation We got there at 11:00, sat us down graciously and we asked for suggestions on spicy, flavorful dishes. The waiter suggested a couple of items, a beef dish and a chicken dish, we added dumplings.
The food was delivered in this order... chicken...flavorless., then dumplings and a few minutes later, the beef. An entry worth $35.00 is not served with even steamed rice. Ridiculous!!!!!
We then asked for steamed rice and I can’t remember maybe it was $15.00. It arrived 10 minutes later. The excuse wa that it was late and they deliver as available. For a full price meal, I expect full service.
The manager then took away the cold, flavorless chicken and obliged us with cold tofu salad as a favor.
I will never go back there.

My son and I ate here on Wednesday night. Our bill came to $218. We left a $40 cash tip on top of the $218 we paid with our debit card. This $40 tip was 20%. Upon checking my debit account - $53.22 had also been added. So a grand total of $93.55 for a tip on a $218 check???? NO!!! SO SHADY!!!! I have contacted the restaurant, but it has not responded!!!!!

Everything was absolutely delicious. It was worth every penny. The ambiance was dim and romantic. The duck was crispy on the outside and so moist and tender on the inside. I wish I had a Mr. Chows in my area because I would go all the time.

While the service was appreciated, it felt overwhelming to constantly have someone hovering over in such a tight place. The food is decent but honestly not worth the price tag. I know there’s a big reputation that comes along with the Mr. Chow name and brand, I cannot say that I was impressed with the experience or quality of dishes.

Good very tasty. A martini is over $20.00 no reason for that. Food was way over priced for the serving portions. Service was top notch, very noisy restaurant. I’d recommend it but be cautious our bill came to $937.00 for 5-adults and 2-children. So, way over priced and over rated

Excellent food but terrible service at the 57th St. location. Skip in favor of the downtown Tribeca location, which has a better atmosphere and infinitely better staff.

The only hiccup was that I had ordered a liter of sparking water for me and my wife and tap for the kids. A server refilled our kids’ glasses with sparkling before we could stop him. He took one away, left the other on the table. Did not replace the bottle and charged us for it anyway. Minor, but very poor form for a restaurant of this standing.

We have been eating in Mr. Chow for many many years both in New York and Los Angeles and have always enjoyed it as a wonderful and festive experience. The food has been uneven at times but lately they are really seemed to have found their culinary groove. We've had some excellent meals recently and truly professional and attentive service. A great experience that we recommend heartily.
