Opened in 1979 by world famous restaurateur Michael Chow. MR CHOW started in London in 1968 and continues to enjoy generations of devoted clients from art, fashion, music, and entertainment. Recently awarded the 5 Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for its excellence, service, and cuisine this restaurant described by Givenchy as a "Precious Jewel Box" is one of the most beautiful restaurants in New York City serving high Chinese Cuisine with impeccable service.
The menu at MR CHOW is a combination of old authentic Beijing, Original Recipes, and the signature dishes such as Chicken Satay, MR CHOW Noodles, and Ma Mignon. MR CHOW also serves one of the best Beijing Ducks in the world.
The famous nightly handmade noodle show is presented in every location since the opening of London in 1968.

Mr Chow is an amazing restaurant. The Beijing Duck is second to none. Also try the Chicken Satay, Mr Chow noodles and Pot Stickers.

I eat out 3-4 nights a week at white tablecloth restaurants. When I am reserved at Mr. Chow's salivary glands come alive prior to the dinner. The is due to the fact the door is so delicious and wholesome. Also, the decor is stunning and there is always a vibrant , sophisticate clientele . Part of the reason is the excellent management and service of Sonja and Angie.

The food was delicious but the menu was a bit difficult to understand. For four ladies our bill was over $800.00 (with tip). We had food to take home (one of the group was local - the other three from out of state). The service was amazing and the ambiance was very enjoyable. But an “order as you go” would have better for us. Our last course was the best I’ve ever had. It was Peking duck and it was phenomenal. We’d definitely go back but we’d order differently.

The service was excellent. The flavors were amazing and all food was expertly prepared and served hot (which is often a pet peeve when the food arrives warm). Can't wait to return...

Mr. Chow never disappoints! It’s always a must for us whenever we visit a city that has one. The food is consistently outstanding, elegant, and beautifully presented. The service is top-tier! Dining here is more than just a meal; it’s an experience we look forward to every time. Highly recommended!
