There are so many great steakhouses in the greater Milwaukee area- I’d chose those over this location. Service was good- but not exceptional- for the price, I’d expect a more disciplined service experience. Crumb the table, ask for more drinks before empty, recommend things on the menu in a non broken-record way. The onion strings were fine, could have been cooked longer and been crunchier. The Brussels sprouts were awesome, my Au Poire steak had good flavor, but was more well or medium well than the medium that I ordered. The first bottle of wine we ordered wasn’t available and the server let us know we didn’t have an up to date menu. This place isn’t fine dining, but charges you fine dining pricing. I’ll return to 5 O Clock Steakhouse next timeB

I started with the crab cake it was perfectly cooked and excellent, my burger was outstanding, cooked to my liking, great meat, the fries tasted like the frozen kind you'll find anywhere, my wife sides dishes, sweet potatoes and the ratatouille special were great, the spinach not so much not too much flavor and burnt on the bottom The desserts (espresso creme brulee and key lime parfait) were as good as it gets, also got a tasty blueberry sorbet complimentary for my B day The wine selection is very nice, by the bottle or the glass. As always the food doesn't disappoint, the meat is consistently excellent, well be back. Thanks to Brook our waitress, very good service

The drinks were OK but not outstanding. The steak was good , nicely cooked and made better by the wine sauce…but not a knock out one would expect for the price. Mushrooms were very good but the cream spinach was bland. Server was good and engaging but spread a bit too thin…had to wait too long for the wine with dinner.

We've been Mr B fans for a long time and through a few different locations. It's common to choose Mr B's for our special occasions. This was our first time at the Mequon location. Unfortunately, the location is more interested in cramming maximum numbers of tables into the venue rather than offering a pleasing environment for diners. We were seated at a small table for two that was close enough to our neighbors to hear conversations without trying. There's more privacy at fast food restaurants. The food, on the other hand, was delicious and well prepared, with the exception of the 32-ounce Tomahawk ribeye, which was charred to the point of affecting the flavor. The steak was ordered medium. Our server was wonderful; very friendly and quick. Overall, decent experience, but we won't go back to this location.

We were celebrating birthdays, and were able to get a reservation last minute. I love the ambience of Mr. B’s, and the food was delicious! Our server was personable and knowledgeable. Our experience was perfect! We enjoyed our dinner for two hours, and left fully satisfied! The blood orange mule was exceptional!

From the moment we walked in never felt inviting. My wife and I where celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary. In reservation wre asked for booth, they seated us at very small table right near the front of the door it was very cold. The only thing we was offered was water no one ever explain the menu to us asked us have we been there. When I sat down in my chair there was salad or food on the chair that got own my clothes. There was a young lady that almost look like a teen that I expressed my concerns first about the booth where she said oh we’re busy then about the food oh do you want me to get you another chair never accommodated or tried to make my experience better. A large group behind us got seated after us a chef came out or someone who is knowledgeable of the menu and explain to them their options we never experienced this. finally I seen a booth come open I had to ask to be moved they did finally move me but the service never got any better. It took over an hour for our food to come I had the ribeye which was OK. My wife had the fillet and said it was tough but she didn’t complain that’s not her MO. Our overall experience was very poor. I would not visit this place again we do live in Mequon and thought it would be great place to try since it was in our neighborhood. The food was definitely not worth the price however if the service would’ve been better it would’ve made up for the quality of food.

We celebrated the night we met which was over 35 years ago, July will be our 30th wedding anniversary. It was an amazing evening, highly highly recommended!!!! Will be back for sure, looking forward to visiting the other restaurants as well. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable evening.

This was our anniversary and we were going to the Chancery. When the wait was too long we came to Mr. B’s and we are glad we did. We had the best steak and the best Lamb chops that we ever had. We definitely will be back. Love the place!

The food was not of value compared to the cost. Everything tasted average at best unfortunately and my steak was dry. Was really looking forward to trying this place and it was a disheartening experience.

My wife and I were celebrating Valentine's Day and we chose Mr. B's in Mequon. Our meal was excellent, and our server was especially good at dealing with my wife's dietary restrictions. She is on a low salt diet, and our server went and talked to the chefs to find out which options offered the lowest salt available.

The food was good. The room was a bit cold, especially when sitting next to the windows. The service was very, very slow, and redundant regarding explanation of the menu. Items were forgotten, and we had to wait to begin our meal. I’ll go back for the food, but maybe earlier in the evening when service may be better.

Love the place. Great location for us as well(coming from Sheboygan) and being able to avoid Milwaukee traffic. Staff was incredible and very accommodating. Waygu steak was extremely delicious. Thank you!

Service great. Waitress was very nice. Price is way too high for food. I can’t say that this was the best dinner. Crazy how there is a charge of $11.00 for an ounce of glazed onions on my steak. Unreal!

I’ve been a fan of Bartolotta restaurants for decades. The challenge restaurants have today is the value equation. I understand that every input to a restaurant prepared and served meal is much more expensive due to inflation so prices are reaching the out realms of affordable. Against these higher prices are the food and service deliverables. Both need to be stellar for the equation to work. Both were great last night, really great in fact, but not stellar. I want Bartolottas to succeed so I hope this feedback is helpful

Extremely good. Menu smaller than I expected, but a nice selection for a 'steak house'. I had a lunch larger than planned, so I wasn't super hungry when we went. Again, food was very good. You get what you pay for and you will pay for a very good meal.
