Mozzarella & Vino
The burrata salad was amazing. Then raviolis (made in house) were the best I ever had
Five is had lunch last Saturday before the theater. I wish I knew the name of our waiter, but he was fabulous....very knowledgeable about the cheese, wine and olive oil. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The best part was the absolutely delicious food...from the three cheese appetizer to the special ravioli. We all recommend it highly!!!
All around excellent experience. The food is superb as is the service!
Outstanding food and service. My go to favorite for business and social lunches in NY
This was an impulse reservation and the place was amazing. Would love to come back. Great service and great food.
Gran lugar para cenar en pareja con muy buen ambiente y servicio y comida excelente
great food, a little upset no calamari but it was Sunday night late so understand
Took a long time for a waiter to come to our table (was not crowded) when he did come we ordered wine and informed him we were celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary no response and the poor service continued, we asked it their were any specials, he acted surprised he said the Ravioli. During dinner we wanted a second glass of wine by the time he came back to check on us we decided to go else where for wine and desert . Food was ok not what we expected. Will not be going back
This restaurant is very convenient to MOMA. The kitchen is creditable although the menu selections are a bit limited.
I always plan to dine here when visiting NYC. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed the home made pasta. It’s always a win win!
Nice appetizer menu. Good wine selection. Quiet neighborhood gem. Have. End back a few times.
Beautiful place right between 5th and 6th avenue, on 54th street.
Excellent service and food. Genuine Italian food.
We where there on the latest booking and got the restaurant for our self. That didn’t effect the staff, that probably had the night off if it wasn’t for us, but they delivered 10/10.
Will visit this restaurant every time we come to NYC! Recommended!
I took my daughter here late in Easter as we were acclimating to east coast time! The staff was more than kind, it’s an adorable setting and the food was spectacular!
Excellent for a relatively light dinner pre-theater or a glass of wine with mozzarella and prosciutto
after MoMA. Limited menu but very high quality food. Room is a bit cramped but service is professional. Wine list outstanding.
While this was a relaxing place to eat after eating in a series of restaurants where one had to yell across the table to have a conversation, the rest of the dinning experience was underwhelming to say the least. It was clear that the locals who ate there were treated differently than out of towners, better tables, different and better bread basket, more attentive and friendly service. The food was mediocre, the bread was small and stale, the avocado and citrus salad was nice but highlighted that there was mint (we didn’t get any mint). They only had 4 pastas, which I thought was strange for an Italian restaurant. We had the tagliatelle with bolognese sauce, which was ordinary, no depth of flavor, disappointing. I wish it would have been a better experience.
Nice place , food and service are ok , good value for money
I was there last year and loved it? Very close to hotel, very good service, qualitynof food and this time we sat in the terrace. Like ved it. Will definitely return.
Excellent food. We had the slow cooked ribs with mashed potatoes and the tagliatelle. Also the mozzarella with roasted peppers was delicious.
Food was delicious. There was an open table in the courtyard and our waiter asked if we wanted to change to that table. Most definitely! And we were given an extra dessert on the house.
Great service, good and spot. Third time there, always a treat.
Great selection of charcuterie and cheeses and other Italian food and wine...love it. Very nice staff and tasty food, romantic atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place 5⭐️and we will be back)
grazie mille! we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and intend to return again soon. the olive oil alone justified our expense.
Last minute choice, but the best panini and tiramisu EVER!!! Awesome food and service!!
We went there on Saturday (St Patrick’s parade day) before going to MoMA right across the street. Food was very good and there was a nice selection of fresh, healthful choices on the menu. The atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried. And it was not punishingly expensive.
Have you ever been to a restaurant where you feel like you’re bothering the waiter just by being there — that’s this place. The waiter was completely disinterested in his job and the food was unimaginative and just bad. You know you are going to be disappointed when he asks you what you want before telling you what the lasagna and the ravioli of the day are and you have to ask. They only have four pasta choices on their menu so it’s kind of important information. So we ordered... The caprese salad was literally four cherry tomatoes cut in half with a couple of small mozzarella pieces and one four leaf stem of basil (no salt, pepper, oil, or balsamic). The salmon smelled like old frozen fish.... I get why they included a lemon wedge on the side to mask the taste and smell. And, the brussel sprouts were soft and flavorless like they opened the frozen bag and boiled them for hours before scooping them on the plate. We also ordered the ravioli but it was hard at the edges so we left half of it on our plate. Not a fan of “al dente” ravioli. Check please (p.s. — it wasn’t cheap)!
Every trip to NYC we always eat at this fabulous restaurant !
Awesome meal service was fabulous my first lunch there, will not be my last
Loved their mozzarella dishes selection!
This is a great spot for lunch, especially if you are at MOMA. Right across the street. Nothing fancy, but always very good. Attentive service. There is a lovely room in the back with a skykight - bright and airy.
I have been twice with a table of 4 and everybody enjoyed their meal choice.
Though we don't live in the city, this was about the fourth time we've been to M&V and it continues to meet and even exceed expectations. Nice, less formal companion to it's big sister il Gattopardo down the block. We recommend this place and will go back again.
We liked it very much
I have eaten here several times and the food /service is excellent. I was disappointed because I got there at 4:30 and the garden room doesn't open until 5. I didn't know this...They didn't offer to move us either....I wish he had just said I Know you wanted the garden and its open now (5pm) and we would be happy to move you...
Mozzarella e Vino is a little gem. Good for pre-theater or post MoMA. Great wine list. Wonderful selection of mozzarella. Lasagna is light and delicious.
Wonderfully small and cozy restaurant with reasonable prices in the center of Midtown! We were so happy to find this place and really enjoyed the homemade ravioli and spaghetti with fresh salads. And the carrot cake was fabulous and so original... not cloying or overly sweet and a smooth texture. I'd love that recipe! We found the service to be attentive but unfussy as well. We will definitely enjoy this restaurant again sometime!
This place is a great find for the area. Perfect for late afternoon meeting - not noisy when we’re arrived at 4pm. The service was good, attentive but not pushy - we were not rushed. The burrata is amazing and they have good wine pairings. Will return.
Loved ! So cozy . Delicious and much to choose from . Will return to this great spot so centrally located .
Small portions & over priced!
As always the food was spectacular with excellent fresh ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive. A lovely spot for lunch or dinner
Delicious food, great service, perfect place to have a great conversation with a friend. Will definitely return!
"I loved the semi-romantic, a touch of elegant feel of this place. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The ravioli was the best I have ever had, the citrus salad is a refreshing, delicate one - really amazing. I can't testify to noise level as it was Super Bowl night 2019..."
