Was surprised to learn we dined at Mozza Mia on its last day. Sorry to learn it closed.
The food was great, the service was a little slow but the place was busy. Great pizza and local beer offerings. I just read today that this location is closing, very sad to see a neighborhood restaurant close.
The food was very good, the meatballs as an appetizer was the best, followed by the Lemon Chicken, and the Caprese salad was bland. It seems to lack any salt or decent olive oil. It was almost as someone forgot to season it.
The waiter was nice, but at the table way too often, as if we were being rushed to order. I do not think it was his intention, but my friend and I were in conversation a few times and he interrupted to see if we were ready to order, any questions etc. Again, he was very good, jut at the table too much
Overall, decent experience, I will be back.
Round table for six by the kitchen was warm and cozy and the noise level wasn't too distracting.
Great pizza.maybe the best in town.would recommend their deep dish.nice salads as well and great beer selection
Awesome meal tonight as usual. Or waitress Rachel is the best and always goes above & beyond making or dining experience fantastic.
We did not have pizza. We each ordered a pasta dish. Both were delicious! Service was a little slow but when we each ordered a second glass of wine the server said it was "on the house". That really wasn't necessary but was much appreciated. Overall, a very nice dinner.
We love this place, but received the wrong item in our deep dish pizza. Sausage was added to a spinach and mushroom pizza. Given that we waited for 30 mn and and would have waited another 30 mn for a replacement, we just didn't have the time. Our server was fabulous, our disappointment was that the manager never bothered to check in or apologize, this should be standard stuff for a place like this. We got a discount on our pizza, 50 % not including our additional toppings. I think this should have been handled better, either comp the pizza, or offer a discount on the the next visit, and more importantly a manager should have taken the time to speak with us. We like the venue, but were a bit let down by the lack of concern. To stress, our waiter was great, but a manager, on a mellow night, surely has to check in.
Great deep dish pizza. I liked the place except for the $8 cocktails. Make a reservation if you intent to go anytime from 5-8PM though.
Our server was fantastic! He was quick to ask if we were celebrating a special occasion, and then he honored our son who was shipping out for boot camp in the US Navy the next morning. He was very friendly and wanted to connect with us much deeper than on the level of "how are you?" We felt honored and special.
Mozza Mia is a great restaurant wonderful food wonderful service one of our favorite places
The pizza was awesome as usual.
The pizza 🍕 is good and the margaritas are very good but pricey. Right across from the cinema.
Seating was very close I felt as though the people at the table next to me were at the same table it was hard to have conversation without everyone hearing.
It was great
Everything tasted amazing as always. The only thing less than perfect was my pistachio gelato - was very icy and tasted like coconut.
Our food was great and our server was really attentive and friendly even with how busy it was! We really enjoyed our family Valentine's day dinner. Thank you
My friends enjoyed it a lot! The deep pizza and chocolate cake are so great! The homemade cheese is awesome. I think I will go there again
Food was great and our server Rachel was excellent. Our table was ready exactly to match our Open Table reservation.
Great food. Excellent server. Will definitely go back again.
Great food, fun atmosphere! We tried a few of the pizzas which were delicious but next time I want to try some of the pasta. Great time had by all.
Best place to get a deep dish pizza! We got that in our first time there, that why we came back, but this time we order a regular pizza which are fine, average, but the deep dish pizza is the best. They made their own mozzarella, is really good!
The service and the food was outstanding!!!!!
Food is always fantastic, especially the fresh mozzarella! Our waitress was amazing. She made sure we made it out by the time we needed to leave for the hockey game we were going to!
We had a good meal at MM and will go back. First impressions were just alright... We arrived early for our reservation (30-40 minutes) due to unusually light traffic. We were told we'd need to wait a bit for a spot.... No worries I get it however, they seated 3-4 walk-ins before us. I had to go back and ask why that was... we were seated right away after that. Once seated everything was good. No grand slam home runs but food and service were both quite good -very near next level but not perfect.
I had never been to Mozza Mia before, but I will definitely go back. My friend and I shared a salad and a pizza and it was the perfect amount! I especially enjoyed the fig and prosciutto pizza - very delicious!
The service & pizza was awesome as usual. We just love going there for a romantic dinner date. Kudos to Zoe, Rachel & Kevin for taking such go care of us.
Food was wonderful as always. Our waiter, I believe his name was Ryan, was fantastic!!!!!! Good service and great sense of humor.
The food was wonderful. Loved the mozzarella and the pizza.
We enjoyed a last minute dinner here. The food and service were excellent
A group of 10 of us went after going out for an event. We were able to get seated well before our reservation time and overall the service was really good.
In terms of food, I felt the deep dish pizza was very good and we loved the mozzarella platter. We commented that we could have eaten nothing but that...it was that good.
The only downsides were that there isn't a really good place to wait when it's crowded on a Saturday night in the winter. We made it work but it's hard to move around if you want to go have a drink at the bar before dinner. The other complaint is that it's really loud when full. There's 'energetic' and then there's the case where it's so loud that you can barely hear those sitting next to you.
Overall we'll definitely be back because they food is excellent.
Reservations don't mean anything at Mozza Mia. For the second time in a row we made reservations and showed up on time. Then had to sit on the benches for 20 minutes.
Our waitress was very poor. She never once checked back with us to see if we needed another drink or anything else, like some Parmesan cheese.
We asked for some bread with our entrees. We never received it, but it was charged on our bill. In our group of four, one of the entrees was cold and one was missing a bunch of stuff.
Of course we couldn't ask for any of this robe rectified because the waitress never came by our table.
This is an extraordinarily overrated restaurant that I would suggest you avoid. There are others nearby that are much better.
It was extremely loud and very difficult to have a conversation. Our waitress was good but overextended and it took too long for her to make it back to the table.
We enjoyed excellent pizzas (the "Commander in Cheese" was fabulous!) and wonderful service. Just a little too noisy for me, but it's a busy place on a Saturday night.
Great Food - Tried the Cheese Tasting plate and a couple appetizers. All very good. Server was very genuine and attentive. We will definitely go back again!
mozza mia used to be a our go to spot in edina, but the noisy interior, mediocre meal quality and the oblivious wait staff are wearing thin these days.
Great food and excellent service, nice location with parking nearby
We went for the movie deal. As it turned out, we spent more than we expected. The food was good, but the corporation could spend more on better ingredients and have a truly fine eating experience. It was too loud to have a pleasant conversation.
Absolutely the best little spot to have a romantic dinner.
