   We showed up for our CHRISTMAS EVE reservation & the restaurant was CLOSED. We did not receive any notification whatsoever about this….not happy our Holiday dinner was ruined

   Made reservations by calling them. Our waitress was the bartender and she did a great job. Our food came out hot and my drinks were good. I had chicken piccata with veggies and a twice baked potato. My husband had Cajun salmon, wild rice, and veggies. We enjoyed it.

   Not the best but not a bad stop if you want to have a quiet dinner. Food is just ok.

   Menu did not match online at all. Place was empty. Food was cold and overdone at the same time. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

   We made reservations earlier on. When we arrived, no table was ready. Then we were told we won’t have food for at least an hour as kitchen will be closed. So we left.

   Reservation system was down, kitchen was out of chicken for a salad, said that patio was full, it was just empty and not cleaned (full of dirty dishes and food). Bill was incorrect - charged for the chicken that never came, wings were also ice cold. Terrible - would not recommend

    We ignored the bad reviews online because it looked like such a cute place in the pictures and seemed a little quieter than all the bars on Broadway. We should have listened to the reviews. When we arrived we were told that our reservation was not valid anymore because they stopped using OpenTable the day before and they could not access our reservation any longer. Huh?!?! So we did not get the outside patio seating that we requested and the overall attitude was very flippant and they clearly did not care. Then we were sat at a table by the host and within minutes the bartender came over and asked us to move to a different table because of fire code, so we just weren’t feeling very welcome at this point. Our server had the same “couldn’t care less” attitude and seemed downright annoyed to be there. Then came the food. My steak was extremely over cooked and dry. I took 1 bite and didn’t eat the rest. When our server cleared our plates she should have noticed that my food was untouched and very obviously overcooked. This place is in a great location and has so much potential. Hopefully management can fix the issues and bring it up to the level that it should be. We would not return and cannot recommend Moxy Rooftop.
