Moxie's Grillades et Bar - Montreal

So disappointed... I used to love this place and would bring colleagues and vendors often but that last experience left me not wanting to go back .Servir was painfully slow (1 hour to get any drink including water) and there more wine and beer unavailable than available.

La serveuse était gentille. Un des employés ne parlait pas un mots en français. Si vous engager des gens qui ne parle pas français ou anglais peut-être pas les lettres au services à la clientèle. Le délais de service était vraiment trop long et en plus il a eu une erreur dans la commande.

It was delicious! Not such an ambiance. Good service.

Strangely I made the reservation on line but the reto had a memtion it was cancelled?

Food was good, service was perfect, lots of space, nice ambiance.

Service un peu faux, à la réception et à la table. La musique/playlist pourrait être meilleure... La nourriture et les boissons étaient top.

Food and service was very good but out of 6 choices of beer 2 were not available and the music was too loud.

The young stagiaire with the waitress forgot to bring us water however the arrival attendant did upon our request

I have been to Moxies before, food was always okay but the last time everything was extremely salty I had ribs and chicken. The ribs were so dry. Atmosphere drinks and service was great but the food not so much.

Great service. Our waitress was extremely helpful in accommodating gluten free options. She also offered some site-seeing tips. We had a lovely time and will return the next time in Montréal

Nous avons pas aimer la selection de vin, specialement le vin maison Vista Point qui n'est pas disponible dans ce restaurant et qui est un vin excellent. Le filet mignon etait vraiment dur et pas vraiment bon. Aucune sauce brune comme le restaurant a Ottawa qui est excellent.

Nice ambiance, more bar-like. Pretty bright lighting, in spite of dark furniture. Food is good but a little expensive.

Great service, food and ambiance. If the music would have been a bit less strong, it would have been completely perfect, but overall is a great place. Highly recommended.

J'aime la nourriture et la localisation commode pour une rencontre d'amis. Toutefois c'était particulièrement bruyant ce soir la. Mais c'est le coût pour avoir de l'ambiance.

We waited 40 minutes for our food. The waiter never checked in on us to see if everything was OK. Water was never refilled, not once. I ordered the chicken strips and the waiter did not ask if I wanted the Thai sauce on the side, like they usually do here, and my plate was served with the sauce all over the strips. Did not appreciate that.

Appears to be an upscale dining restaurant in Downtown. Food was amazing and servers were great. Not something you see elsewhere.

This is not the first time that I have been to Moxie's. The food is always passable, the drinks under-poured but this particular time, the service was poor. We were going to a show and we told the person seving us this but that did nothing to speed up the sevice. He constantly apologized for the delay in service but did nothing to improve it. It will be a while before I go back, if ever.

Lorsque tu entres dans un endroit ou tu déranges la fille à la réception... On me dit d'un ton sec de monter en haut. On m'assigne un place de bar losrque j'ai demandé un endroit pour discuter. Le serveur n'a aucune finesse et que dire de la nourriture, vraiment nous n'avons pas manger tellement que c'était mauvais. Never

The place is very nice and great location but the service was terrible. Ordered a salmon and avocado salad with no avocados, didnt receive any water and had to ask another waitress for a drink because the waiter didnt come back for a long time.

Love this place ! I bring new friends there each time I go and they adopt it. Food is delicious, service is always A1. Will be back soon

Moyen comme expérience... bruyant, service très moyen! Bref tout est sérieusement moyen...

Everything was really enjoyable except my tacos. But, I'd go back to try something else because the atmosphere and service was that good.

The only complaint is that the service was very slow, diners surrounding us received their food before us - we received our food one hour after we arrived - we mentioned that we had to go back to work. When we called the waiter over to inquire he advised us that at the time our food was ordered, there was a problem with the system - he should have advised us, we should not have to ask.

I usually enjoy dining at Moxie’s. Probably a one off but service was slow (tables around us arriving later were served before us). The food was however very good. Had to flag down server to pay and already had our coats on.....consistency in customer service needs to be a focus.

Great place to watch the game while enjoying the food. Annie was the best! She guided us thru the menu and beverage options. Her recommendations were spot on. I'll be back when in Montreal.

Food variety is good, but the quality is not spectacular - could be improved, decent drinks menu, nice ambiance, nice wait staff.

Hostess at the front was a little blunt about telling us to go upstairs (we had never been there before so we didn’t know how the establishment was laid out). Waitress was very nice and food was great. We were seated in a secluded area which was nice but also felt like we got forgotten at times.

Belle présentation des plats, mais pitoyable au niveau du goût, de la cuisson, manque d'amour dans vos recettes surtout pour le prix 150$ avant tip pour 2 adultes et 2 enfants (5-6 ans)

Best thing: it was free....because
We waited 50 minutes for our burgers and steaks...fries and burgers were cold. They took the cold food and brought us hot food 20 minutes later. I had asked gluten free bread and half way through I realized it wasn’t same bun. :(

We've oftened gone here and always been satisfied with the food and service but we had a completely different experience this time. We were a small group of 6 and most of us had issues. We'll usually get our food very quick even on the lunch rush but we waited a long time this time and the food arrived mostly cold. On 6 plates we got 2 cold steaks that were overcooked, a luke warm burger and sorta hot pasta. THe chicken plate was overcooked and dry and one person asked for no cheese and had cheese on her salad. We didn't have the time to resend the orders but it wasn't a great experience.

Unfortunately, our experience this time wasn't great.
