Food/service/location is always the best!!!

I made a reservation for Friday and requested to be close to a tv so we could watch the hockey games. The second I walked in the man that greeted me asked me my name and knew my reso as well as my special request, and sat me at an awesome table with a clear view of the tv. Once I sat down the waitress was very attentive to both my boyfriend and I. When I requested the game be changed on the TV they were all super quick to try and find us the right hockey game! The food was amazing, they have so many vegetarian options! The beer was great. The happy hour was awesome and had a lot of options. The ambience was amazing. Overall we had a great time and will absolutely be back!

This Moxie's has a really nice atmosphere and our waitress was so attentive and the food was excellent! Great group, date night or family dinner out place!

We found the service very good BUT it is very loud in the establishment and makes conversation difficult.

I loved our service at Moxies! At chain restaurants its the staff that makes locations stand out. We were sat very near the kitchen so the ambience was bustling and bright but watching the team work was impressive. My loaded burger was excellent. No one in my party of 6 had a bad or cold dinner or empty glass. I recommend this location for Mom Birthdays! 😃

My husband ordered the spice-rubbed chicken and 1/2 rack of ribs. The ribs were delicious! The chicken was too spicy and he had to send it back. This was not what he expected from the menu description. Our server, Ayesha, was wonderful and quickly delivered a tasty, flavourful serving of chicken that he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall we enjoyed our dining experience.

I’ve been to moxies many times and had a fabulous meal. Unfortunately the last time I went my food was not very good. I have food allergies, usually the kitchen gets it right. However my fish was under cooked so I had to send it back...the potatoes were over cooked and veggie was a bit old and under cooked. I then had to wait another 15 minutes for my dinner to arrive back.
They served my meal in a small bowl on a large plate. Not sure why? I could not cut the broccoli in the bowl as it was under cooked and large, so I dumped it all on the large plate It came on. It’s the first time my entrée was served in a bowl on a plate.
Unfortunately as well, that evening I started to feel sick, I’m thinking that maybe the fish that was under cooked was on top of the broccoli and they served the same piece when I finally got my dinner back. Or some cross contamination from the kitchen. I’m hoping when I go back it’s going to be great as it usually is!

Great energy but difficult to hear table conversations at times. Everyone enjoyed their meal - burgers, pizza. However pasta was bland. Server was prompt attentive and personable. Overall though would definitely go back.

We went for happy hour; the food was great, service was good and it met our expectations :)

Firstly great service and the new decor is perfect. BUT, thumbs down for the new and
limited menu which has removed several popular dishes and been replaced with tasteless and confused concoctions. As a regular over many years it’s beginning to be a less attractive dining out option.
I might have scored better had my very basic food order of burger and fries choice been somewhat warm.

Moxies is our Neighbourhood place for w/e brunch & early dinners.
Great patio w lots of greenery & umbrellas.
Service always efficient & attentive.The Moxie "girls" are terrific.
It has become the favorite for our visiting 11 yr old granddaughter

Interesting menu--we had the yummy broccoli cheese soup w good toasted crusty bread, excellent salmon dinner, sides of stuffed baked potato a brioche burger--w melted cheddar,tomato & 2 bacons w garlic mayo-very tasty.
A warm blond brownie was v. good.

So--another good time at Moxies.

The service was great. The meal delicious and presentation excellent. We chose a wine and it was corky so we were given a better wine at the same price. The waitress was excellent. The noise level high.
Great experience. Would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The service and food was very good and, overall, it was a very pleasant experience. My complaint is that when I looked at my bill upon arriving home I found that the beer was $10.00 a pint. I consider that a rip off and it may sway my dining decision in the future.

Found the hostess/wait staff all had 'a look' and our waitress was a bit unappealing (dress super-short in the front and could see her undies while going up the stairs and she was coming down; not a classy look overall), but efficient enough. Didn't bring water or work too hard for her tip, but at least wasn't in our faces, which was also welcome.

I feel like a somewhat-family establishment shouldn't be so tarty/desperate looking. It is kinda sad that management seems to encourage a certain look, etc to appear 'classy'... unh-unh, missed the mark.

Appetizers were good and fresh, but mains were varying in quality and temperature. Two steaks were poor - one was cold/barely warm and one was gristly and wasn't finished. Waitress was told and she said she'd tell the kitchen, but didn't offer any compensation or concern.

For a $1000 bill + 18% tip for 12, I would've hoped for a better, overall experience.

Our second time ordering the ribs and we will not try them again. They were edible but too dry, Even the sauce couldn't disguise that.
We have tried lots of other things on the menu and they have been great.
So we will "go ribless" from now on.

Hello our service at the restaurant was exceptional and I really appreciated it. Our server was Jolene and she took very good care of us. It was especially nice since it was my birthday and they gave us a delicious brownie dessert- it was presented in such a spectacular way. I would recommend this this restaurant to others

Asia was AWESOME.. Very professional and attentive. She certainly has some great customer service skills for a young person..!.. thank you!... The table and area we sat was AWESOME!.. just as requested.

Hadn’t been there for a while, enjoyed the setting food and drink good and a fair price. Service good to start but dropped off a bit

Paper napkins, gas heaters not working, staff not clearing table, appy’s and debris still on table when main courses served. Owner came to make amends, comped our drinks. We didn’t stay for dessert.

Love the Kale and Quinoa salad. Don't go changin'!

Moxies is our neighbourhood restaurant--friendly well trained staff (love the Moxie girls) & 2 hands-on owners.
Fabulous patio.
There on Fathers day--so complementary mini brioches w caramel dip.
Brunch menu varied--colorfully presented. Always willing to custom orders.
The burger buns are tasty brioches.

Moxie's staff are very attentive and helpful. The food is of good quality however the pricing is on the high side.

Had the fish tacos. They were excellent. Service was inconsistent but OK. Prices were reasonable. Seemed to have a nice outdoor eating space.

First time there, with wife and two teenage boys. Choices for everyone on the menu. Nachos, Calamari, fish tacos, curry, mango chicken and steak were all excellent. And free b-day dessert too!!

Always wanted

We are here while docked on a cruise ship. It was a long walk but worth it. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. If I lived in this area I would certainly be back.

We just stopped in for a quick salad before our concert .Everyone was very nice and friendly and the food was good .Great atmosphere.We would go back.

We were greeted at the door by very friendly staff. We got the table I had requested online. That’s the first time I have used that.
I have some food allergies and the manager was great at making sure everything was okay for me to eat after checking with the kitchen!
The noise level is very high, we had a bit of a challenge trying to have a conversation. That’s about the only down side of that environment.
We will try to make it during a lunch time...and maybe it won’t be as loud.
Love Moxies nevertheless!!
