We had steak sandwiches and they were over the top spicy to the point we could not eat the bread. The steak although tasty was very tough. Both salads were good but we had been looking forward to a good steak sandwich and were disappointed
Good food, little slow on getting our food.
Hostess sat individuals at different tables even though we mentioned the same reservation. Took a while to connect with each other. Awkward business lunch.
We had a group of 8 people including some kids. They put us at the back close the restrooms and it was perfect. There weren’t any other tables around us and we didn’t have to worry about being in people’s way. The food was great. They brought out a birthday dessert that was decorated beautifully. Thanks, Moxie’s, for making it a great celebration!
Great service with great food and lots of jets fans ready for the season opener.
Love the Soup and Sandwich combo for lunch .. excellent food and great service!
It was very busy because of the concert but the staff kept up and the food was great.
The service was really slow for lunch service. I would have expected them to be faster which is the reason I suggested we go there.
We had a great meal and great time with Friends. The waitress was awesome. It was a great start to a disappointing night. Cher cancelled 😢😢
My mom and I made a reservation through Open Table on May 21st. We got an email saying it was accepted and when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed for Victoria Day. They didn't even adjust the hours on Open Table or on the web. We had to run around to find another open restaurant in the area. It was not a pleasant experience.
as always good food service was very good, very noisy this time as there was a rock concert at he arena and the restaurant was packed, awesome dinner
Yes good food good service, 4 stars not 5 as I reserve 5 stars for over the top. Great place to go if you have an event downtown
Amazing place in downtown Winnipeg. Great drinks, food and amazing staff. Overall experience is always good at this Moxies location. Always leave feeling full and satisfied.
Good food and beverages. Great place pre and post sporting events.
Server was lovely. Food quality was poor. Caesar salad soggy and limp, french fries alternated between being soggy and not crisp or hard and raw when bitten into. Turkey club had one thin slice of turkey, one piece of bacon, limp lettuce, and thin tomato and three very thin slices of bread. Disappointing and overly priced meal for what was presented.
Supper after the Moose game
We were pleased with the food, atmosphere and service! Great place to celebrate a special occasion or to enjoy a nice quiet dinner.
We were seated quickly and our food was delicious and arrived swiftly. It would have been nice to have our water topped up more frequently though.
Great food. My sandwich was very fresh. Looked appealing and tasted great! Staff friendly. Food was brought out in great time. Wull go again!

Meals were good and the service was efficient and friendly.
It was pretty quiet and slow the night we went. Drinks were very slow to come out, but well done and the staff comped us some extra dessert for the wait. The service was very friendly all evening. Food was good all around - great salmon dish, especially. We will be back again and would recommend this location.
Open Table takes reservations but Moxie’s doesn’t adhere to Open Table policy.
Great place to grab a business lunch
Wonderful to be able to book a table for dinner before Jeff Dunham! Thank you!
My reservation was listed under an incorrect name leaving the group I was meeting confused as they had no reservation under my name. Service was slow. Our server wasn't swamped, just didn't come by often.
Had the street taco and the spicy cauliflower appetizer. The taco was good, the cauliflower was incredible!
Amazing! One of the best staffed restaurants in the city, with fantastic management.
We booked Moxie's downtown for November 11th. We got to the door and the entire restaurant was black with a sign on the door that the restaurant was closed for Remembrance Day.
I certainly understand and respect that. But I had an out of town guest with me and we were scrambling to find a meal before a concert.
We ended up at Browns Social House across the street and had a very good outcome.
We were lucky because on that day I know many restaurants downtown were either closed or full at that hour.
In a similar circumstance I would be inclined to double check with the restaurant in the future.
I am only rating the restaurant because I cannot send this review without it. The ratings are meaningless in this case.
Overall we have been very happy with Moxie's in the past.
Not enough servers on hand for Montreal Canadiaens vs jets pre game, felt bad for the poor girl left to service way too many tables.
Our meals were quite good, but we were very disappointed in the specialty coffees we ordered. They were served in large ceramic mugs. No sugared rims, no whipped cream. Very plain. I would never order them again.
2nd dining experience on a Saturday within a month that the food arrived late and cold
Good waitress , personable, we wanted a relaxing atmosphere and she made our experience wonderful
