Moxie’s is located at 560 Centennial Parkway N, just off the QEW at the Sandman Hotel. Our Executive Chef Brandon Thordarson has created a menu offering a wide-array of steaks, burgers, pastas and seafood!

Excellent service in the beautiful patio. Large tables with comfortable chairs and more than ample space between. The white peach Bellini is to die for as well as the steak frites and cashew chicken lettuce wraps. Everyone had excellent experiences with their food and the wait staff were helpful and friendly. Ordered drinks, apps and entrees and were done in 1.5 hours without feeling rushed.
I would have liked the music turned down some as it was hard to converse at times but it was nothing overbearing and wouldn’t stop me from returning.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch on the patio on Canada Day. We made a reservation ahead of time, arrived early and were seated right away. The service was excellent, all staff were wearing masks and it was evident that they had been trained well to handle the food and drinks safely. The restaurant and washrooms were spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and lunch( vegan tacos, shrimp tacos, burger and fries and chicken Alfredo. Very good portions for the price. We were from out of town and we will visit again.
The waitress split a full glass of beer all over one of us and our jacket only 10 minutes after we sat down. she did apologize but nobody from management came to see how things were nor was any thing offered to accommodate the accident.
We decided to stay anyways and have dinner. When the waitress was asked if the chicken fingers were fresh and not frozen she replied yes. This was not the case and the were quite bad we did express this and she said that maybe they were made ahead of time and frozen but again did not offer any substitute.
The steak dinners were good but the vegetables were over cooked.
Overall not the best experience and would not recommend.

Some unknown pieces were in the broccoli soup. Manager tried to explain what it was, however the excuse didn’t cut it with us. Big drop in quality of food since the last few visits. Service however was great!
The food and service here was amazing! Our only complaint is that it was too noisy which made conversation among friends sometimes difficult. The music was especially loud in the bathrooms. Other than that, it was excellent!
Excellent food, service a little slow, but pleasant friendly, seating was well arranged. The kids loved the sketch pads. Thank you.
We went for the New Year’s menu. By the time we got there, the Tirimisu dessert was sold out.
We felt that the server is not attentive to our table. Had to wave her down a few times.

Great atmosphere, service was great. Unique menu with lots of original choices. Prices were on the higher side however once we received our food it certainly was worth it. Food was excellent. Will defiantly return.
Amazing food, servicr and experience as always. I keep coming back for the tenderloin with red wine demi glaze. So good!!
We came here for my older brothers birthday and he absolutely loved it! Service and food was amazing! We will definitely be coming back in the future.

Food was ok - Steak salad was a disappointment - steak came undercooked - lettuce was wilty - Unfresh
Friendly hostesses, enjoyed being seated in a comfortable booth by the windows. Food was delicious and fairly priced. The seared tuna salad was very delicious. Waiter should be more respectful and not care women “hon”.
One of our party joined us and we had to wait 5 minutes to get the drink order.

Had to wait 5 minutes upon entering as no one was at the front desk. After that the service and food was excellent. We asked for a booth by the window and we were accommodated.
I would however like to point out the view from the window. The grass was poorly cut and full of weeds. Why not spruce up the view with some gardens and small ornamental trees? This is a nice restaurant but the window view does not reflect that.
Sadly my food was not very good at all. The Chicken sandwich tasted like fish. I actually had to break a piece off and look to make sure it was chicken. Returned to the kitchen and ordered Blackened Chicken sandwich as a replacement, it certainly tasted better however the bun was soaked and full of grease.... could not eat it or even hold it without getting grease everywhere also returned to the kitchen... Passed on that as well.... when we asked for the bill my lunch was still on it. I reminded the server that it was to be removed and she made it right. We will certainly be back but this was not a good outing at all.... I hope the next time the kitchen will be on point.
Excellent service. Definitely will return again. This was my second visit since May 2019. Our wait staff was exceptional!

Loved the patio but stools very uncomfortable. Had to stand at end of meal.

This by far was one of the best dinners out in a long time. Not only was the food fabulous but the service was fantastic. They went above and beyond for my son and his celiac disease. Our server and management were the best we have had in years

Excellent service and great food selection. Waiter was knowledgeable about menu items and made recommendations. Food was good but not great. Typical mid level restaurant quality. Would dine there again.

The service was extremely slow - which would’ve been fine if everything else was amazing. The food was alright, nothing better than a typical restaurant and the prices were very high for what you get. The patio is really nice and the overall night we were there was great, because of the company we were with but the six of us in attendance all said we would not be returning.

Our recent dinner at Moxie’s wasn’t the best experience we’ve had there. We requested to sit outside after making a reservation which had us inside of course. It seemed the staff were still getting used to having people outside; seat cushions were missing from some seats and waiters came out with food and asked at various tables who had ordered it. Also the service was good, but very slow. Our biggest disappointment was that Moxie’s has discontinued their Korean fried cauliflower! It was THE BEST. One of the main reasons we came to Moxie’s. Not sure we’ll ever go back now.

Special of fish tacos came in a cardboard tray, like french fries from a food truck only covered with tin foil. Fish taco special was $8.00 less than the fish taco dinner, only difference was a handful of nachos and was served on a plate with a couple bite size pieces of fish. Server was not experienced with the menu (didn't know the type of oil fish was cooked in but did inquire). When I inquired about the $8.00 price difference between between the dinner and the special the server was not too keen on checking into it but did so and I was given a discount.
Will not likely be returning.

Had a girls night out dinner. Moxies delivered. Excellent service and atmosphere. We all had meals that were amazing. Steak salad, steak frites, fish tacos, burgers, sandwiches and soups. And desserts of course. Everything was delicious!!

Very disappointing, will not be going back. Miso ramen soup had the shiitake mushrooms missing, was very bland with little garnish and overloaded with noodles - when I brought the issue up to the server they then brought out generic white mushrooms, and when I brought this up they simply said they didn't have any shiitake mushrooms. I expressed my disappointment and both the server and manager did not do anything to make the situation right.

Easy to book a reservation online. Food came out in a timely manner. Prices are reasonable for the food you get. Drink menu has a good options. Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere inside was high energy and really nice. Good amount of room between tables and booths. Pulled chicken nachos were a great appetizer. We got a free small white chocolate brownie for my husbands birthday. Service was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back again.

I have been to Moxie’s several times but the rest of my party (4 other women) had not. It was my recommendation. Alexander our server was excellent and everyone was impressed with their food (salmon avocado Cobb salad; lettuce burger; fried chicken sandwich; soup and sandwich and ?). The only area you lost points was cost. One of my friends didn’t realize that there was an up charge for the soup- she didn’t notice it on the menu and the server didn’t mention it. Also she and another lady decided to split the half price bottle of wine and were a little surprised by the “half price” charge. Anyway lesson learned- read the menu more carefully. This didn’t take away from the otherwise great experience we all had. We get together several times a year and we decided that we would make this a regular spot.
