There are few places that are better for a warm and welcoming experience than Moxie. You can count on being welcomed like you are arriving at a dear friend’s kitchen. Food and atmosphere were great but what really stood out was the service. I think we interacted with everyone in the front of the house and they were all just so great. Made for a most enjoyable lunch.

Moxie is a welcoming bistro with a varied menu of food and beverages. It’s our go to restaurant as we live nearby and have been loving and going there many years. The wait staff are excellent and attentive.

The Swordfish entree was excellent. I had an unusual cocktail that was fabulous. Our server, Laurie, was a gem. I have been there other times and always enjoyed.

The chicken piccata was not what I was expecting. No wine sauce. It was a cream sauce, more like an alfredo. Maybe ten crispy capers. Interesting dish but it shouldn't be called a piccata when it is cream sauce. I didn't like it enough to finish it.

We have been wanting to go for years and finally went for lunch. The menu was interesting and the food was very good. And while crowded, the service was very good as well. We'll return for dinner!

Had friends driving through from MN and they wanted to take me for lunch. Love supporting local, so I reserved a table for three at MOXIE. Friendly staff, a nice lunch crowd, lovely window seat. The tomato soup was a bit garlicy for my taste, but all of us enjoyed our main lunch - I had a great truffle mushroom on sourdough melt, one friend had scallops and the other had a lovely chicken salad sandwich. I would certainly recommend MOXIE to friends and visitors.

I wasn't a fan of Moxie, having been there multiple tries a couple years ago, but decided to give it another try. Unfortunately it fell flat again. Met a friend for dinner. We both had a pasta dish. Neither of us wanted to finish our meals because the pasta was not hot, gummy & inadequate sauce application, over cooked seafood on the pasta...Service was good and the atmosphere is nice. Too bad the food doesn't live up to the rest. I won't be back.

We celebrated a birthday outside on your lovely patio. Lori was our server and was her usual efficent, fun self and made the birthday girl feel very special. We had outstanding Lemon Drop martinis and grilled romaine salad with seared scallops. Delicious!

The service was great. I asked for my servers opinions on drinks and he took the time to provide a tailored experience and checked to ensure I had a great experience. I enjoyed my steak and drinks and the environment in the restaurant. Only critique was the mashed potatoes could use a little more flavor but they still tasted good and I look forward to returning in the future.

Was here for a birthday lunch. I ordered the caesar salad with shrimp which was a little disappointing. Only 4 small shrimp, usually a shrimp salad has larger shrimp so that each can be cut into 2 pieces. Also there were not many romaine hearts in the salad, it was mostly dark pieces, so the romaine could have been fresher. The biggest bummer was that on their facebook page they had shown a picture of raspberry chambord cake which would have been great for a birthday lunch and I was planning on taking a few slices home. They were out of it and the chef said they were getting the cake back the next day. Someone else ordered the bourbon peach short rib sliders and she said they were too rich.

Prime time Saturday night and the restaurant was full. Many tables indoors are packed too closely together for my liking, but our table for four was set a bit apart and we were quite comfortable and had no problem conversing. We each had a different entree, and the food was all delicious. This was our first visit since Moxie reopened, and the menu had more dinner offerings than I recall from previous visits, which was a plus. The swordfish dish in particular was outstanding. We will be back!

Terrible dinner. I took some friends for a celebration; I was embarrassed. The burger was too salty to eat, the pasta primavera was COVERED in mushrooms-hard to find another vegetable. I asked the waitress for an accommodation and she simply said no, ignoring the fact that I had requested she ask the chef. It wasn't even busy while we were there. That's my first time in awhile and it's my last.
