We had an excellent dining experience. We ordered the pheasant which was fabulous. The buttermilk buns are a must. Service although attentive was a little slow. This did not detract from the overall experience.

I was really excited to eat here! Every dish they brought out was either not good or average at best. The salter Brest was great, the beets were ok, the steaks were just ok, go to a steak house if you want steaks at this price. Very fatty. The salad with peasant had bones in it. The desert was nothing great. We liked the donuts. Coffee cold. Drinks were good. They need a new chef or new cook. I think it could be amazing place if they keep it simple with maybe Mexican food. Trying too hard and missing what good be great. When a meal is this expensive I expect great. Not going back!
Four friends gathering to enjoy the beautiful weather on the patio and the excellent cuisine at M&C. Rachael, our server, was the best--patient, knowledgeable, and good humor.
The Harris Hawk, Flex, that pulled "scarecrow" duty with his trainer (grackles come looking for a leftover or two) was beautiful and such a plus---ecologically friendly and he definitely struck fear in the offending critters.
We enjoyed a variety of salads and flat breads, all colorful and spotlighting local products. The lemon tart (which we split) was a perfect finish to our lunch.
This is a must! Culinary artistry in unique and flavourful combinations that delight the senses! Beautiful presentation! All the wait staff were knowledgeable, attentive and charming. Service was impeccable and non-intrusive. We had the kale, smoked blueberry salad with rogue river bleu cheese—was divine for three—had the pheasant, lamb tacos and salmon, all superb! The barbecued beet salad with smoked onion yogurt—where can you get a dish like that?!! To die for! The flatbread was delicious—Camembert with acorn squash, apple—again for 3–Perfect. We had Kir and Negroni aperitifs that we’re splendid! We will return! We met Chef Tandy Peterson—a Chef to watch! A star!!!

Everything thing was incredible and very full of flavor. I recommend the monkey bread and mushroom flatbread. Great 1st experience and will definitely return.
Felt extremely out of place, requested a booth when making the reservation and were seated at a table with two tables on either side of us that were very very loud. Personally don’t understand why restaurants even have that type of seating where you share a booth with a table right next to you...: food was good but very expensive and the service was less than. My husbands steak had to be sent back for being rare once his meal arrive I had already finished my meal. When we asked for his left overs to bagged up they “ lost” his steak. They only comped is dessert and our waiter barely checked in on us. Will not be returning.

Food was really good. Service seemed to be non existent. Took 20 min to receive our drinks. Waitress didn’t even notice that our water glasses were empty and had to request more water. Still in disbelief that a cup of plain coffee was more than Starbucks at $6.
Food was great. Huge patio with plenty of outdoor dining. Had to pay to park in resort garage. Annoying. For what it is (a resort restaraunt) it was top notch.

Food was interesting and very tasty. Even though we had a reservation we had to wait for a table. We had to wait a long time for a server to even come to our table once we were seated. Both our server and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. Place seemed way understaffed.
We enjoyed the food and ambiance, while the waiters were very personable and other staff open, I felt like our table and the explanation of our courses were an after thought for our designated waitress.
Food was outstanding. The bartender went out of his way to make me a special drink and it was amazing. Service was perfect. Can’t wait to go back

I would rate M&C as one of the best meals I not only ate on my visit to Phoenix, but maybe ever!
Although there are a fair amount of highly rated options in town, I strongly recommend venturing to this spot (in a resort, no less). The chef is doing amazing things with flavor combinations and the service was both helpful and entertaining as they helped us pair wine with our meals and make general suggestions.
The menu is tailored toward the adventurous diner - wild game and local vegetables abound. I will be recommending M&C to everyone I know who will be visiting Phoenix!
the location is beautiful. But the service leaves allot to be desired. its unfortunate bc the place is really pretty all it takes is a nice greeting and friendly service. I think it was just our server.. she was extremely rude to our table (of women) but we witnessed her being extremely fun and helpful to the table of men next to ours.. (they even commented to us about it) ..very strange. We constantly had to reorder our drinks twice.. waited long amounts of time for them to finally arrive .. food as well.. the restaurant was not busy at all.. we could not find her at all when we were ready for the check. we will not go back.. too bad
This was one of the finest meals I have had in Phoenix. Every server, down to the busboys greeted us and referred to us by name. The food was outstanding. We had the crab dip, then pheasant and black cod accompan by carmelized cauliflower which was exceptional. The chef is meticulous and creative. We will definitely return and recommend it to all. By the way, valet parking is gratis.
We had a great evening with neighbors and enjoyed great service and a excellent meal while sitting outside with a beautiful view.
Very nice hotel casual dining room. Salmon entree was very good, steak and pheasant were ok.
We had 2 starters-the meatballs and flatbread were very good, although the plates were hot, the food was really not. The kitchen isn't that far for food to be served cool. Lemon meringue pie was great, unique.
Not sure I will go back, maybe for happy hour.

Wait staff became increasingly unattentive as the night went on. Table was not bussed and we had to find our own cutlery. Very poor which is too bad. We were excited about the remodel!

Interesting experience, read about it in magazine, waiter was adequate. Slow at serving drinks and food came out in weird intervals. Was expecting a lot more after the write up in the magazine

Scallops were cold and the appetizer was served after we received our entrees. Salmon was good, as were the potatoes. Drinks were very good.
SERVICE AND FOOD WERE EXCELLENT,BUT MENU IS SOMEWHAT LIMITED OF STANDARDS.
The menu was interesting and eclectic. Servings are family style which was nice because everyone was able to taste several things. We sat outside and the view was amazing. However, we did have 2 issues: the first was with the brisket soup. It was "toxic" with salt. I actually am teased by our friends because of how much I love salt and this soup was way too salty for even me. After complaining a few times, the server just agreed that it was salty and made no offer to bring something else or take it off the check. Which brings me to my second point. The server was a nice kid but his serving skills were lacking. His timing was off - he interrupted us during a toast as well as several other times when we were clearly having an engaged conversation. The restaurant was not busy and there should have been no reason to just abruptly butt into our conversation. He needs better training and coaching. Our bill was bout $50 per person which included one drink. Not bad for the Phoenician. In all, I'd go back again but I would avoid the soup at all costs.
We ate here before going to see the Nutcracker. This was an excellent choice. Our waiter Nick gave us fantastic service and walked us through the menu which is limited but enough of a variety to have choices. We picked one item from each section and the food was amazing especially the salmon and ribs . The portion size was such that we were able to share. We will definitely dine at this restaurant again.
We had a wonderful dining experience here. Our server, Samantha was solitious, knowledgeable, and checked back frequently to ensure that we were happy. Enjoyed it very much
