   Great food. I think they are struggling with finding and keeping googling servers (like everyone). Some of the basic things, that usually fill the time between small plate orders was just lacking, like bringing water or asking if anyone would like another drink. And I could tell it wasn’t just our table. The food was excellent as always. Oh and fix the front door so it doesn’t slam and scare the crap out of everyone! John

   Dinner with 6 people. Food and drinks did not meet expectations. Ambience was okay. They have a door that slammed and boomed everytime someone entered or exited. It was annoying. Service was average/good, not better than any average restaurant. I thought the menu was going to be Spanish food. It turns out it's what the general public thinks is Spanish food. The Cocktails are weak. There really isn't any reason I would go back or recommend the place.

   We had a lovely graduation celebration for our daughter. We did have to wait a bit for our table to be ready for our large group, but the staff was very accommodating and ended up giving us a private dining area outside. The food, service and ambiance were fantastic. We all ate our fill and enjoyed a wonderful evening. Thank you!

   I made this reservation for my sister and her extended family, some of whom are not typically very adventurous eaters. They all loved everything about Movida - the food, the atmosphere, the service. I'm a hero for picking this restaurant for them! Thanks Movida!

    Service was ok, drinks were empty often through the night. Bar was also backed up. Food came quickly. We did the unlimited tapas but got the bill and were charged individually for everything. Had to wait to have it fixed. Waiter very soft-spoken and shy and we couldn't hear a word he was saying because of the music. Had to ask for some things multiple times. Other tables around us had the same issue. The table behind us finished 2/3 of their meal before they had their drinks. Food was pretty good. Mushroom toastee was delish, the steak was decent. I was jealous of the people next to us that got the pork chop it looked and smelled amazing. Meatballs not so much and came out cold. Most dishes had a balance of textures and flavors. Ambience was nice, neat lighting decor and vibe. Tables too small for so many different plates. I recommend eating here at least once!

    Our first time at the new location, so several years. Enclosed patio was chilly. If you’re seated out there on a cool evening, request a table with a heater. Ours did not have one. Overall experience was ok. Food, service, ambiance was fine but not extraordinary. Hotel Madrid Paella was fine, too heavy on squid too light on shrimp. Sauce was good. Manchego and croquettes were also good. Overall, not bad at all but our experience was not as good as a few years ago.

    We were sat in an "outside" location which I wish we would have known prior to going because we were all very cold. The food was great and we had a good time but wish we would have been told because we would have dressed accordingly. It was cold!

    We ate at the bar on Mother's Day and thoroughly enjoyed the fun atmosphere and suggestions from the bartender on both food and drinks. Great place to eat and enjoy dinner, appetizers and awesome cocktails at very reasonable prices.

    The tortilla on the barbacoa tacos was stale and the seafood did not taste fresh, but the service was great! I let our server know about the food and told her I was not expecting to get anything comped, but the manager did it anyways. She was so nice about it and appreciated our feedback.

    Movida is one of the best Tapas places in Milwaukee! So reasonably priced, great portions & fantastic food. Their paella & street noodles are some of my favorite dishes. Looking forward to my next visit here.

    Exceptional ambiance. Sitting outside amongst the rug dividers was quite an experience. The tapas were certainly delightful and the Paella is a must. A hidden jewel on the Milwaukee dining landscape.

    I love thé idea of unlimited tapas! It was wonderful to be able to try many different things! Our favorite was the shrimp and the potatas bravas. Other items were pretty good. Our least favorite was the shrimp toast. I should have looked at the bill more. It was $184 for the tapas for 2 and we we each had two drinks. Tip was included in the bill. I would definitely go back to try some of the bowls.

    Love the ambiance of the patio, with the open flame fires, etc. The food was top notch (not even mad that we over-ordered...great leftovers!) and the service was excellent. Great evening. Just like last time.

    We had 7 different tapas, and all were very good. Croquettes and street tacos were outstanding. Waitress was very helpful in pointing out the really popular dishes. Next time we’ll try the flights of sangria.

    Went to Movida for a special birthday dinner and we are STILL talking about it! Not only was the food delicious and the portions generous, the service and staff were memorable. We opted to do the unlimited tapas special and worried we might not ever see our server to place an order but that was simply not the case. The service was quick, the attitude of all the staff was to make it enjoyable. The Manager, Kaylie, was especially accommodating when a couple drinks we ordered weren’t available and she learned how much I loved their crunch bread and aioli! We will definitely be back!

    The happy hour is such a great deal and definitely worth checking out! If you are here for other times then a happy hour I highly recommend the Movida Paela, you won’t be disappointed. The hosts and bartenders were so attentive and kind. We had a great late lunch here!
