Good beer selection and limited, but enough in food variety. Food and beer were good (not great). Is worth checking out. Atmosphere was typical for smaller brewery.
Solid beer and good food!
There was lipstick on the water glasses when we arrived and the silverware looked dirty as well. My daughter ordered a cheese pizza, and the entire crust was burned so badly you could smell it.
I had the chicken tacos, and they were very good. Someone else ordered a burger and said it was good as well.
Unfortunately, due to understaffing there were no entrees being served. Also, I ordered beignets for dessert and was told they were not serving them either I ordered the peach, buratta salad which someone had reviewed as excellent. It was not! Very little lettuce on a bed of ricotta cheese. The "smoked peach" was tasteless and hard as a rock. I don't think it was a peach either, more like a nectarine. Extremely bland dressing. Very disappointing! Chicken wings were flavorless too. The 717 sandwich had good reviews from my dining partners. However, the fries were out of this world! I'll give it another try when they are better staffed.
Nice outdoor dining, great food
Wonderful fry appetizer and peaches and burrata salad to help lay a base for their new stratospheoric hazy ipa. Roasted peaches with almonds were a nice compliment for mixed greens in a light vinaigrette and the fries with jerk seasoning and pulled chicken were delightful.
Waitress was very nice and attentive. Out of the meal that I wanted, ordered a burger as did my son which has fried onions and both came out without onions and. Dead lettuce. Apparently chef is new but it’s a basic burger on the menu. Ambiance was nice.
The food is great, but the menu is small and overpriced. The service is always just okay.
Visiting the area. First time at the restaurant but would go back if visiting again.
Wonderful food and menu. Great atmosphere. Our waiter was kind but a little shy and never introduced himself. All in all 5/5
Nice atmosphere, delicious food and wonderful service.
Worked out very well for a small work gathering to celebrate project success
Me & 6 friends went to have dinner. We arrived at 6:30pm. They were very busy. Placed our order around 7pm. By 8pm we haven't gotten our meals. Apparently they lost our order. They took our orders again. We asked them to place our food in to-go containers. We ate a little bit, took the rest home. Our waiter never apologized for the mishap. My husband and I have been there multiple times, never had an issue. We still plan on going there. Food is delicious!
Great place awesome food beer and service. We definitely go back again and bring some friends, Thank you!
What a great find! Great menu with good food selections for all ages. Unique offerings of craft brews to suite all tastes. Live music that was appropriate in style and volume. Rustic charm and good seating layout. Try the 717.
Waitress had no idea what was on the menu or what came with what entree.
Excellent food, beer, entertainment and service! Highly recommend.
Slow service with drinks and food. The restaurant was only at 50% capacity and it took 45-50 minutes for our order to arrive at the table.
We went to the restaurant in Campelltown and ate outside. I got the fish and chips which were good. The street tacos came out without the aioli and were awful. We also got the Hawaiian chicken sandwich that was tasty but way overcooked and tough. The wings we got were fried nicely but not much flavor to the Asian sauce. Drinks were good and the saving grace is the fries. Maybe the best fries I have had.
Graduation - family celebration
Great burgers and house made fries. Delicious Cerveza. Service was very good. Slightly off the path if you’re staying in Hershey with the family (about 10-15 minute drive), but overall pleasant and experience with quality food.
I love this restaurant. Everything about it is done extremely well. We will definitely be back!
We stopped in to try the beer, and stayed for trivia night. Food was good but not great, and the beer was tasty.
I made a reservation for Saturday, May 8 at 6:45pm for 3 persons. I had decided to try MGCB again after not returning after another poor experience over a year ago. Upon arrival we were "greeted" my a young woman / hostess who had virtually no personality...not a great job match for her! She told me that our table in the back was being used by the chefs and that she would tell them to move since we were ready to be seated. In a few minutes she took us to the table right next to the restrooms and kitchen doors...I told her it had not been cleaned after the staff had moved and she said she would clean it. When she returned I asked for another table close to the front of the restaurant since I had made a reservation and did not want to be so far back. She then said that they were preparing for Mother's Day Brunch (the next day) so could not seat us near the front (???). She then took us to the "side" room and gave us a corner table - a little better than the small original table but extremely noisy with families with children whose parents were basically letting them run wild around the entire dining room.
While we were waiting to have our orders taken at the new table, another family was seated beside us. A waiter came to them and took their order even though we had been there prior to them. He then came over to us and said he was sorry and that he could take our drink orders. We told him we were ready to order since we had already been waiting a while. However, his response was..."your waitress is busy so I can only help her out." He must have seen our displeasure because he did go ahead and took our full order for food and drinks.
When food arrived 2 of our 3 orders were fine. The Chicken Tacos meat was very over cooked and dry; the shrimp tacos and the fish & chips were fine. But the overall value for experience AND food were very poor - with tip almost $75.00.
We decided to hit the brewery for an early Mother's Day celebration. This was our first time visiting and we were not disappointed. Delicious food and awesome beer selection! Our service was also great. I would highly recommend.
Terrific dining experience! Food was great and we will visit again!
Very nice place and decent food. My daughter ordered the steak and didn’t love the chimichurri. The chef came out to talk with us. My daughter is a teen and doesn’t like to make a fuss and felt embarrassed so she didn’t want anything else. The chef was extremely gracious and gave her a dessert to go. Our waitress was great. We will definitely be back!
Place was bigger then I expected. It had a casual cool vibe.Menu was sufficiant to satisfy any appetite and pricing was fair and in line for this type of dining.Wait staff was very pleasant and efficient.Food was very tasty with asufficient portion.I will definitly eat here again.
As a frequent visitor to Mt Gretna Brewery (but somewhat curtailed during COVID 19), I look forward to a neighborly, friendly brewery...the specialized burgers have always been outstanding, and, with the addition of a new chef, I believe the variety of other offerings will be of outstanding improvement...Ironmaster Stout and Big Red Amber are my personal favorites among many excellent and intriguing brews...enjoy!
They seemed understaffed which made it hard for us to get the attention of our server. She was very nice and I have nothing bad to say about her. The food took forever to come out. We ordered an appetizer that came out with all of our food. That was burnt and cold when we got it. Once our food FINALLY was brought out the pizza was undercooked, the fish and chips was so small (both worth the money) and my pretzel charcuterie board was terrible. The charcuterie board pretzel was cold (why would a soft pretzel ever be served cold?!?!), the bleu cheese was mushed and thrown all over the plate, the 2 tiny pieces of Brie were all brine. I did ask about the pretzel being cold as soon as it came out but was told that’s how they serve it. Which I think was just an answer to shut me up. I ended up telling them to take it back and didn’t eat. I will NEVER be back and I will NEVER suggest this place to anyone!!!
Service was horrible our waitress kept forgetting about us and I had a local flavor coupon that I'm pretty sure she never took off our bill. I friend picked up the tab and I didn't know how much it was until we left and when I added everything up when I got home she definitely did not deduct my $30 local flavor. Not happy!
staffs was very friendly and understandable that we’re deaf.
Food was great. Our waitress was soooo nice. Loved the music.
Food was good, but Outdoor dining did not have any heat lamps, and would not let us dine inside despite available tables.
What a great find! We went on a Friday night and there was live music! The food and service were great! Loved this place!
Really good but the menu was a little small. All the food was very good, but it felt like it was missing that one small thing to kick it up a notch. We had the tatchos, tater tots instead of the traditional nachos. They were very good, generous toppings but they needed some type of brisket or pulled pork to bring them up. We also had the meat pizza which was also very god but it needed something to bring it up a notch. Beer was awesome and we like the atmosphere and will definitely keep supporting this local restaurant
Tried a couple of different brews ,can't remember kinds, but one was an ale which was lightly hopped ,very nice a good session beer.
Fish n'Chips which is only available till April 2nd. nice piece of fish in batter deep fried ,not bad with malt vinegar a must when eating fish n'chips.
Mushey peas would have been a good addition .
Server was very attentive
Great place to eat. We were looking for a place to celebrate my daughter’s acceptance into law school, her boyfriend acceptance into grad school at Oxford and my wife’s licensing into the ministry.. Delicious food and ambiance to match. Definitely will be back again
