Great experience. Delicious food. Friendly and attentive staff. You feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. Can't wait to go back.
Very nice taste and quiet atmosphere. I love this place and definitely love to visit again.
Best Indian food around!!!
We were very pleased with the food and service at Mt. Everest. We decided to go there based on the 1000 point table, however 3 days later I have yet to see the points credited to my Open Table account, despite calling them about the matter. Make sure you specify you made your reservation via OT when you arrive.
WONDERFUL RESTAURANT; GREAT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
Best Indian/Nepalese food in the city! Amazing service
I usually don't leave restaurant reviews, but I was blown away by Mount Everest. We went there for lunch on Mother's Day and they were practically empty, which was a real shame- the food was so good! I had their chicken momos, and my husband had the chicken tikka masala. Both were delicious. And the waitress brought out cucumbers for my ten-month-old son to munch on, which was completely unexpected and very appreciated. Great service, great food!
This place I think is new — it’s great!! Got garlic naan , has “fries and chicken tika” for kids, momo dumplings, I got goat curry (so good!). And of course chicken tikka masala is great. Had the Mt. Everest Masala Tea with some sugar and it was awesome. A hidden gem for baltimore!
We had a taste for India flavor and this place did not disappoint.
Very friendly ... delicious and plenty of food ... highly recommend the goat !!! My only complaint is that only would serve a cocktail from their specialy menu - would not make me good old-fashoined Old Fashion ... still, l plan on returning
Absolutely best Indian food in the area!
We had a fabulous dinner at Mt. Everest. Excellent food and cocktails and the prices were incredibly reasonable! Standouts included Mt. Everest Momo, Saag Paneer, Aloo Gobi Masala, and Lamb Junelly!! Plus the Hendricks/cucumber cocktail was stellar!!! 7 of us had appetizer, cocktails and beer and main dishes plus tip for under $200. Will be back!!
This was our first visit to Mt. Everest Restaurant, but it definitely won't be our last! The servers were friendly and helpful; the seating was comfortable; and the food was fantastic! They have an extensive menu that satisfied everyone, including the vegan in our group.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Mt. Everest Restaurant.
Good portions of food and lots of flavour. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Food is always delicious. Servings are generous. Try the Mango Lassi with Kraken dark rum, yum!
Really really delicious food. Very pleasant, accommodating staff. I loved our meal!
Went for mother's day and everything was terrific. Friendly service, good portions and delicous food. The food for the kids took a little long to come out, but it could be because we were there after the lunch rush. We recommend that you try it.
My wife loves Indian food so I decided to try this place out. Best idea ever. The food was amazing. The owner makes most of the recipes himself. Very friendly and courteous staff. I can't wait to come back again!!
Great restaurant with good service. We've been there twice in a week with two different sets of friends now. Vegetarian, vegan, and meat-eaters all found things to eat and loved every meal we each got. Veggie appetizer platter is awesome! Server and owner had great suggestions and were prompt and attentive. Highly recommend!
Very good food, generous portions. Nice atmosphere.
Excellent food, attentive and helpful service, this casual little spot is quickly becoming a favorite!
The owner and servers were extremely friendly and welcoming, and, after my husband shared with them that I will be going to Everest Base Camp in October, they were very excited for me and told me how much I will love it there. The owner told me I should contact his brother while I am in Nepal if I am in need of anything. So kind! We will definitely be going back.
Best Indian food around. Tandoori specials are awesome.
Very good Indian food. Some unusual dishes that do not make it onto Indian menus. The owner and host is very hospitable and helpful. There was plenty of food, with leftovers to take home, for a quite modest price that makes this a find. It is in the heart of Hampden, a neighborhood with significant cache in Baltimore. I definitely plan to return
My friends are having a baby.
We love this little gem of a place! The food is wonderful and authentic...Family owned and caring staff. It is not fancy but a terrific neighborhood gem!
Delicious food. Really good Indian/Nepalese food
Tiny, cute, affordable, and delicious. I can’t say I have had Nepalese before this, but for anyone who is like me that never tried it: Please do. Especially if you’re a fan of Indian food.
Great authentic tasting food as always! Definitely worth the drive.
Everest does a great job. Dishes are unique and well flavored.
It's just really good. Everything tastes so darn good. Each time I've been, the food is wonderful.
Our family celebrated my daughters 28th birthday at the Mount Everest Restaurant. My daughter had been here before, for the rest of us it was our first time trying Tibetan cuisine. The service was excellent, the hostess and server were very friendly and the meal was delicious. I would highly recommend Mount Everest Restaurant!
A labor of love by the Nepalese owner who gives firm guidance regarding his best dishes. His recommended creations were a delightful change from Indian standards.
Trip number 4. The first 3 were all excellent, this was no exception. Great food, almost unique flavor combinations.
Good space and service. Very good samosas and sweet lassi. Unusual flavor to mulligatawny. Good flavor to food, but rice very bland. Chicken slightly overdone. Overall, inconclusive.
Possibly the most delicious Indian food in Baltimore! Fresh ingredients, divine, rich sauces, very friendly & accommodating staff, delicious cocktails, tender meat options and a large selection of vegetarian options -- it has it all! We celebrated a birthday here and received a free dessert with candle. A sweet gesture that only makes us love this place more. HIGHLY recommend!
Very happy to have a Nepali and Indian restaurant right on The Ave in Hampden. Great food with many vegetarian options. Courteous and helpful staff. We went for our anniversary, and we'll be back soon (and many times after that)!
Wow! What a great surprise. With friends from India in town I was once again on the chopping block to find a decent restaurant, and an Indian restaurant in particular. As usual the dishes would have to approach the same quality as home cooking in India provides.... a tall order. Not only that but these Indian natives are REALLY picky about food. I was in trepidation just thinking about it. Looking over a long list of Indian spots I saw the same old haunts where I knew the food was OK but nothing special. Trying something new we would up at Mount Everest where there is a Nepalese influence. The restaurant itself is not at all flashy but the food... Wow! All the food was fresh and beautifully spiced with a wonderful mix of flavors. Everyone was thumbs up (a first for that group) and those of us still here are going back next month. Almost forgot to mention great service and good strong cocktails. I hope they keep it up.
The food was great and authentic Indian, plus they agreed to make my husband's favorite Indian dish which wasn't on the menu. Great service too.
