   I have never had a bad meal at Moulin Rouge. I have enjoyed dining at MR for almost 50 years.

   We hadn’t been to this restaurant in years. It is a hidden gem & well known & frequented among locals in RI which has many restaurants to choose from. Our waiter Larry & asst Julie were friendly & attentive. We were served in a timely manner & met the head chef & thanked him for our delicious meals. Their menu is extensive with many French dishes, local seafood and assorted beef entrees. They are known for their delicious prime rib, which I ordered. My husband ordered sea scallops which were prepared perfectly. The creme brûlée was excellent. The wine list had nice selections reasonably priced. White table cloths perk up the nicely appointed historic building. You will not be disappointed!

   It was a great night. Celebrating Mother’s Day. I had Rack of Lamb! Spectacular, and large portion, cooked to perfection. Thanks to Chef Warren, and his assistants, trained by him. Waiters and waitresses, are all excellent in making your night the best ever. I can’t wait for next trip there. Go to Moulin Rouge, for the best experience ever! Thank you , everyone, for your love and care, to make us all happy! ❤️

   This is a gem of a restaurant. Old world charm with excellent country French food. I am surprised there are not lines out the door!

   Waiter forgot our soup and salad for appetizers. Then brought meals and said he would take off bill. We wanted our salad! Poor service!

   Having lived in the area for 40 years and in the hospitality industry for 33 years I finally got to dine here. It was a so-so experience. Sat down and waited 10 minutes for the waitress to show up. We almost walked out. Dinner... wife had steak frites...,.fries were DRENCHED in the garlic sauce. A soggy mess. So much for crispy fries. Should have served it on the side. My rack of lamb was good but nothing special. Cooked perfectly and served with mint jelly which is rare. Nice touch. Overall ok experience. I would try again to try the duck. But it will be awhile.

   This place is the best ever. The food is fantastic. With some French appeal. The help is wonderful. And I love the ambience. Never a bad experience here. Definitely the place to go for a wonderful meal in a calm atmosphere to sit and enjoy and reflect. Don’t miss this wonderful place.

   Had the seafood stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer and the lobster and crab stuffed scrod. Warm rolls with butter also served with entrees. Everything was delicious. Drinks were good and the service was excellent. Only complaint was we were seated at a table for two basically in front of a doorway between rooms kind of crammed in. Very loud at first but halfway through our meal the place practically emptied out all at once. All in all, a great meal and will definitely be going back again soon.

    A step back in time when dining was an event. Caesar salad mixed at the table, cherries jubilee ignited before serving. Excellent service. Great food, will definitely return.
