Mott 32 - Las Vegas
What an amazing dining experience. Food was great the service was the best. Highly recommend this to anyone who likes to get dressed ( no tsirts and shorts here) ) to have a very Authentic Chinese dinner has the fried baby octopus WOW. Followed by the Peking duck carved table side. What treat.
Excellent food. Specially the Duck. Although you have to ask for it in advance when you make your reservation. It’s totally worth it.
Services from Lalito, the waiter, was outstanding. Thanks very much.
Very disappointed. Food not great. A few items were good but to many items were not.
Ask for Valentino. Amazing service and great food!
Excellent sorry I couldn’t get the duck!
The Peking duck lives up to the review and hype and so worth the advance reservation. Will definitely go back.
Peking duck. She mai.
Out of this world.
Beautiful waitresses and restaurant. I will go again for sure.
Wonderful Peking duck. Though the restaurant is in a casino, the atmosphere is pleasant. It's a splurge but worth it.
I wish I could remember our servers name. I hope you can find it- he was great. So helpful, friendly, great concern. Just great.
We couldn’t stop talking about how wonderful the food was. Every single dish we had, was excellent.
We’ll be back!!
Was decent +. Pre order the Peking duck. $108 but feeds 3-4. The Japanese whisky was tasty too. $125 a head out the door with drinks and dessert.
Upscale chinese food and delicious.
If you put your eye mask and think if foods are good, yes I think so. However, if I think about it, are foods at Mott32 exceptional ? I would say "no". I can make their foods in my kitchen. In that sense, prices for each dishes are slightly overrated. I'd like to try foods that I cannot make in my kitchen. Decorations and ambience are great factors to rate restaurants, however, for me, Mott 32 is a 3 star restaurant.
Waiter was a bit aggressive in telling us to order more dishes, but all was great
Went to Mott32 last year and it was fantastic, so I decided to go again and even took a 9:30 reservation. The reception and bar were excellent. Food and restaurant service not so much. I wanted to order the deep fried fish and was curious what sauce it came with - the waiter appeared irritated by my question and said it’s just fish. I again asked what people usually had as a side since the fish didn’t appear to have a sauce or anything else and he said Noodles. So I ordered the noodles as a side. It took about 40 minutes to get my food. Definitely not worth the wait. The fish was okay but bland with a very basic soy sauce on the plate - quite uninspiring given the cost. The noodles were awful, very greasy and devoid of any flavor and over cooked - the kind you would get at the Grocery store hot foods section or a buffet. Don’t plan to go again.
Our waiter Jack made the exceptional experience complete!
Very nice ambiance, and a good vibe. Mott 32 has a very good wine and cocktail selection also. The food was pork-centric, and the pork selections we had were good, but not great. Had to send one back as it arrived cold. Much of the menu seemed quite over priced, even for Las Vegas. Overall it was a pleasant experience and our waiter, Tino, was very knowledgeable about both food and drink, and also entertaining.
Mott 32 was good but not great.
Food is OK, but seems no reservation needed. We arrived 5 minutes ahead of our reserved time, but our table is not ready until 10 minutes later. I am OK with this wait but there are two groups after us without reservation got the tables before us and their table is much better than ours. We got seated at the entrance, in the middle of the two walk ways. Definitely the worst one.
I expected more flavor. And the dishes were tiny. I was absolutely prepared for and expensive new but we ordered a dish with string beans and beef and the beef was microscopic morsels of beef. It was just silly. The restaurant is beautiful. The doctor is stunning. I was bummed.
Last year I finally convinced my wife to go to Vegas with me. She’s a fun woman, but she had some preconceived notions about what it would be like. I told her that I would show her the best time. I took her to a couple of well-rated shows and several overpriced meals, and frankly neither of us was overly impressed. This year, we decided to play it more low-key, but a friend highly recommended Mott 32 so I made a reservation. This is hands-down the best restaurant I have been to in Las Vegas. Despite the check-in desk who snubbed us in favor of someone behind us who was obviously more important (we almost left), we are glad we stayed. The food was delicious, reasonably priced (for Vegas), and had an excellent atmosphere with friendly wait staff. The wine list was impressive (and a bit pricey), but what we wanted. I hereby declare Mott 32 the best restaurant in Vegas until it’s proven otherwise!
Food is great and friendly staff
Duck was very greasy. After couple of bites my head was getting light. I had many Peking Duck in the past but this one was very disappointed and distasteful :(
Ran out of all BBQ options and some main course so no signature dishes - however saw the duck come out on 2 occasions after.
It took more than an hour between appetizer and dinner. I was sure they forgot about us. We had 8:00 pm reservation and we got our dinner at 10:20 pm. We order cup of rice with our dinner and it never came. We were in Mot 32 a year ago and it was perfect. I was expecting the same this year but it looks like things changed... not for good. Really disappointed.
We had someone that had some dietary restrictions and it took the server a bit longer than liked to listen and understand what was needed. Resulted in a dish coming out that could not be eaten. Otherwise the food was great.
Our NYE reservations was for 10:15, we arrived about 10:13. We stood at the hostess stand, we were inches of the hostess. She was obviously inexperienced and in way above her head. She failed to even acknowledge us for about 8 minutes. She would not look at us, she was typing on the iPad, printing tickets, and talking to the other hostesses. When she finally asked if she could help us, she checked us into our reservation. We were asked to wait by the bar while they prepared our table. When we arrived what she SHOULD have said was, “Welcome to Mott 32, I have about 6 other tasks to do before I can help you, so I’ll be with you in a little while.” (Insert sarcasm)
15 minutes later, still waiting, by now it was almost 10:40. We went back to the hostess stand to inquire, they said they were bussing our table. 10 more minutes pass, and we were seated at around 10:50, over a half an hour passed our reservation time. What SHOULD have been said here was “We’re running nearly 30 minutes passed our reservation times, you may need to consider altering your plans for the NYE hour.” (Insert sarcasm)
Our server was slow to acknowledge us, about 10 minutes. You were out of a number of signature dishes. We asked about one of the apps you did have, and he said “I can not recommend that, because when they cut the meat off the bone, pieces of bone go into the dish” Wait. Huh? PIECES OF BONE GO INTO THE DISH? Okay....
He took our order for a starter, and said he would come back to get our drink order. After waiting more, the server returns, tells us he put in our drink order (he never took a drink order) and takes our dinner order. More time passes and he casually tells us that he just put in our dinner order.. by this time it was 11:08, almost an hour passed our reservation time.
We chose to leave. Spoke with the manager before we left, he offered to comp us, we weren’t served anything to be comped. He apologized, stating “it’s been a busy night.”
It's NYE - a fairly special occasion, so I was amazed that the waiter would bring out my main meal of lobster after my friend's main meal of salad... They said - oh well, the lobster takes longer to cook, which is what you would expect of someone inexperienced. The salad wasn't exactly going to go cold if they had waited for the lobster. Mistakes happen and I would have overlooked it -but my friend was hungry and ordered ANOTHER salad. Believe it or not this was also served up to him while I waited patiently for lobster... Our meal consisted of watching each other eat meals. When I complained to the waiter he acknowledged the issue but there was zero concern / interest - he just wanted to get us in and out. It felt very rushed. The food was good but it was a very bad experience.
la comida estuvo muy buena solo un mal detalle no tenian ya pato peking que era la principal razon por la que acudimos a ese restaurant y fue desepcionante, sin embargo toda la comida que pedimos estuvo exquisita
Mott 32 was as delicious as we were hoping it would be. The service was great. It is very loud, which sometimes for a family with kids can be a little difficult to have conversations but that is the ambiance in Vegas and it was New Years so we weren’t surprised.
We loved the take on some of the traditional dishes. Everything tasted very fresh and light.
Great atmosphere, was there for NYE and they had dancers delivering your drinks. Staff was nice except for the woman at the bar, she was not a come dating at all. Violinist was great also. Over all great experience food was savory.
The food was absolutely amazing! The soup dumplings did not disappoint. The Wok Fried Lobster was difficult to get the meat out of the shell which was challenging. Would definitely recommend!!!
We were given an outdated menu, as the start of an evening that included them being out of 4 things we ordered. The only thing I have had at Mott 32 worth going back for is Peking Duck, which they were out of at 5:45pm. My kids liked the soup dumplings. I found the food over salted. Don’t order the fried duck bones, they are worthless and cost enough for you to get a good meal elsewhere. This restaurant avoided a one star review by giving us the second type of soup dumplings and the mushroom dim sum as an appeasement to their being out of what we wanted. I can not recommend this to anyone. This was m second time at restaurant, and as before they sat me in front of room where they cook the duck. Fun show for those watching, hot seat for those not.
Beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing.
Delicious Pekin duck! Loved the drinks as well, ambiance is pretty nice...
The duck is amazing, as advertised. We had a great experience, food, drinks, service and atmosphere were all great! If I had one complaint, it would be the wait to be seated. We had a 7:30 reservation and did not make it to our seating until around 8:00 which seems silly. But a holiday weekend in Vegas probably accounts for that. We will definitely be back.
The service was seriously the worst I’ve ever received. I should not have had to ask someone to get someone to take our order after 30 minutes of being ignored.
Reception was less then happy to see us forced us to take the worst table in the house the runaway for all servers and over looking the trash bin as the kitchen doors are not closed. All while two booths sat empty and then 1 1/2 hours hater she seated. A twosome in the open booth. Great reputation terrible outcome
Amazing food and service
Absolutely excellent food in a stunning atmosphere. Great choices. Will definitely be back to try more. Great variety of seating selections from being able to have a table near the bar to the fairly quiet tables in the back of the restaurant. It's not cheap but definitely worth the trip!
