We wanted to like this restaurant, but too many negatives made that impossible. A relentless high decibel technobeat made any conversation - even with the waiter - difficult. We ordered a shredded 42 days Peking duck salad ($18) to share. It was sent from the kitchen with no duck, and only oil drizzled across lettuce. We sent it back and ordered crispy Szechuan chicken, which was neither crispy not spicy. For a main, the waiter had recommended crispy yellow chicken. Since they were out of the half portion, my dining companion agreed to share a whole with me, but after we received the starters our waiter told us they were also out of the whole chickens. The food we ordered instead - black cod and an egg noodle dish - was very disappointing. Sides of vegetables were never delivered. Even in Vegas, the price we paid for this meal can't be justified.
Excellent food but a bit pricey. Service perfect!!!
I hve been to Mott 32 in Hong Kong, so I was looking forward to compare and I was not disappointed. It is just as wonderful as the Hong Kong location.
Terrible overhead music while dining
THE BEST Chinese restaurant in Vegas!! The service is impeccable and the food is absolutely incredible! Highly recommended!
Would absolutely recommend. We stay at Palazzo every year, and were excited to try this place out. Very flavorful, and great service. Not sure if i’d recommend the beef w/broccoli, as it was just a bougie version of an american chinese dish. Everything else was great.
Love the restaurant, food is grass but the wine by the glass is pricey. A glass of Chablis is $36 - there are so many good French wines out there at decent prices skins be great to have more of a selection at different price points.
The Imperial duck was superb, as was the dim sum, soup, hot tea, and the dessert. The duck was the real star of the show, though, and was possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten. It was perfectly prepared & presented tableside.
The service is great.
Food is quality.
But over priced.
Great food. Great service. Top notch! Definitely recommend to impress or just to have a great meal.
Ivan was best server ever !!!!! Amazing food and great service!!!! Highly recommend
Good soup dumplings and bbq pork. The waygu beef lettuce wraps were super small and disappointing. Overall nice vibe and a good wine list.
Loved this place! The Peking duck was amazing, all the other food we had was delicious and the drinks were outstanding.
The waitress was really bad. We had to sit for about 20 minutes to place our order.
The tea cups smelled like fish.
This place is the worst place we been in Vegas.
Service could improve a lot. Place smells like a fish market. Way too pricey for quality and quantity of the food. Jasmine way better option. A lot of the Menu items not available including the usual ones like duct and pork belly
I love the soup dumplings! Appetizer menu and dessert are great!
I wish I did not have to go all the way to Vegas whenever I have cravings for Mott32!!
We arrived 2 hrs before our reservation and they accommodated us. The dining room is elegant, spacious, romantic and the chairs were very comfortable. We went to this restaurant because we wanted to have their famous peking duck. When the server came she told us that their out of peking duck. My wife very disappointed because we drove from LA just to have this dish. Our server spoke to the Mgr and came back a few minutes later to say that someone canceled their reservation and that the dish is available to us to order. We appreciated the nice gesture. I can honestly say that the food here is excellent. The peking duck is better than in Hongkong. We also had the 36 month acorn fed bbq iberico pork and xiao long bao. Both dishes are perfectly cooked and delicious. I would definitely go back next time we visit Las Vegas.
We were sat in a very nice velvet booth overlooking the restaurant- 5 stars for ambiance! The traditional pork soup dumplings were superb, as was the sea bass. The fried rice and asparagus were just okay - overpriced for what we got. Need to return to try the duck - their signature!
Where to start?
They had no available reservations until 8:45 pm- we showed up on the dot. We were told to wait at in the bar area. There were clearly open tables in the main restaurant and the bar area visible. None of the 5 girls at the hostess desk seemed to know or be attentive to the fact we waited for a half hour. We eventually had to ask twice to find out if our table was ready in order to get seated.
When we were eventually seated, we asked that the hostess let the manager know we were upset. Never saw him. The waiter tried to improve the experience, and we ordered cocktails and tried to relax. Open tables around us still. Ordered appetizers- within 10 min. The dumplings were the worst I’ve ever had. We didn’t order anything complicated since we were hungry and the prices were astronomical.
At 10:30 we still had no food. The waiter apologized and said the kitchen was backed up. We rarely saw him after this.
Wish I could comment on the food. We canceled the order and left. We spoke to the manager prior to leaving- since he never came to our table at all. He looked dumbfounded- didn’t offer to comp our drinks or anything.
It was clear he was inexperienced and overwhelmed.
I’ve never written a review- but couldn’t believe this high end restaurant in Vegas would be run so poorly.
Would not recommend.
Had to wait 30 minutes past reservation time to be seated. Watched people who came in after us get seated first despite our earlier reservation time.
Server was awesome!
Noise level made it difficult to have a conversation or even hear one another.
Food was delicious!!!
Apple Wood Rosted Pecking Duck is superb! Highly recommended!
Though I made a reservation in advance and showed up two minutes earlier , it took 20 minutes to be seated . I might have been angry if the food was not delicious. We two had a lot and paid over $390 including tips.
Excellent Peking duck that we ordered in advance. Some of the skin was served separately with some sugar..I never had this before but it worked really well. One thing to know is that you only get part of the duck; if you pay extra, you an get the meat from the bones prepared in lettuce cups as well as some other preparation. Two of us ate the duck as our entree and a couple of dim sum dishes to start (soup dumplings were good but not remarkable, but the "sugar-coated" pork buns were amazing). We chose to sit at the bar despite having a table booking and the bartenders were great and the ambiance lively. Definitely would go again.
Went for happy hour. It was worth trying for the first time. The charcoal bun and the sweet and sour pork were my favorite.
Didnt care for the bamboo forest dessert which was recommended
Service was sporadic but very pleasant waitress
Parking in the Venetian Hotel is still free
The waiter was very knowledgable and patient, gave us recommendations. The dry aired beef was awesome
The food was delicious: Dumplings, crispy duck, lobster fried rice, and soup... The atmosphere was amazingly vibrant and the service was superb. Celina our server was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We will be back and order the full duck ahead.
Worst service I’ve had in Las Vegas. We gave up on ordering more dim-sum after watching the waitress wander around aimlessly and avoid eye contact. The bar tender had to deliver our drinks after they say on the bar for 10 minutes and the waitress did more aimless wandering. The only thing she was quick to do was run our card.
Located in the Venetian, you immediate change atmosphere from gambling to fine dining. Service was impeccable and the food was beyond delicious. We did have one minor issue with an appetizer but it was quickly remedied.
Paired with some of their special drinks the evening was a delight. Definitely a place you need to experience.
Fantastic experience, the duck was amazing and a outstanding Service.
Our hostess/waitress was hard to get a hold of to order more food. Food was great!
Food so so. Way overpriced.a
Amazing food, service and atmosphere! I will definitely be back again soon.
Simply the best Chinese food.. really love this restaurant... super cool vibe
The restaraurnt is beautiful and has a hip vibe. The special cocktail was out of this world! Beautiful presentation and delicious! Unfortunately, the meal was disappointing. The soup was too thick and heavy. The dim sum was dry, so was the duck. The green beans were over cooked. The shrimp was flavorless. The service was friendly and attentive. Too bad the food was a disaster. Wanted to love this place. Sadly, Will not be able to recommend.
Great authentic food !
We knew the duck would run out , and that was ok. , but every other item we wanted they where out of. Sat us in a separated room from the rest of the dining room. Very uncomfortable, huge disappointment! We where looking forward to this highly rated restaurant. Would not recommend it.
I have been looking forward to eating at Mott 32 since it opened, in fact we had reservations the week it opened, but the soft opening got pushed back...
As much as it is pains me, And maybe they just had an off day, but the food was not close to the Hong Kong location, or any of the hakkasan locations. It’s priced as super premium, and what we had wasn’t. Tao which is at the other end of the same complex might be a better option (it’s consistently good).
Disappointed to be honest.
It was incredible. This was our second time to visit Mott 32 and it won’t be our last. If you don’t get the duck you are really missing out.
The service was exceptional and the Peking Duck was outstanding
