Food very good
Service was great Mushroom Ramen was AMAZING
Excellent service (although took a bit of time for drinks to arrive). Food was very tasty. Maybe a little too much fat on the pot stickers, but tasted really good.
Service is a little slow sometimes but the food is so good! The mochis are good too! Would recommend.
Overall would rate as very good but be aware that the happy hour is fairly limited. Went here for a birthday celebration...FYI restaurant/bar doesn't do anything special for the guest of honor. I would say a bit overpriced so probably hurts my overall rating as well.
We love Moto-I! Delicious ramen! Great service!
Always great food and service!
The Ginger Egg Rice Bowl is the best (brunch food)!
Second visit...love the menu and atmosphere. Haven't tried the saki yet...
I just had my first meal there, but it won't be my last. We started with rangoons which were really tasty. The mushroom ramen was delicious with many other flavors of sliced vegetables and cilantro. The saki was interesting. I have no knowledge of saki, but the variety seemed to cater to many tastes. We ate at 6 p.m. in order to go to a play afterwards. When we left the play, there was still a line going out the door. I think they've been open for over 10 years. That's a great endorsement.
We were very pleasantly surprised by our meal at Moro-I! We often go to the Jungle Theater and have never been inspired by the restaurant options nearby. This is a game-changer for us. Dinner and theater right across the street from each other. Yippee!
Had great food and cocktails. Service was mostly well-paced but there were some lags. However just about the time I was wondering where our next food was, it would appear. Maybe I’ve been overly conditioned by restaurants that rush everything out.
awesome service from our waitress and delicious food. I'm gonna go back.
Food and drinks were very good! The only thing I would say is that our waitress took some time coming back and forth from the table but I can understand since it’s a Saturday night and we had a party of 9
Unfassbar gutes Ramen, eigens hergestellter Sake, gute Craft Beer Auswahl.
Excellent food and ambience. The Classic Ramen was delicious, loved the smoked pork shoulder! Will be coming back for more! The Sake was amazing.
My son decided he wanted to try this restaurant for his birthday. The food was delish, services was professional and the environment was quiet. We will be back!
The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter was very nice!
The drunken noodle lacked the usual flavor associated with the dish and had no spice to speak of.
Hadn't been there in quite a few years...it was soooo good!
We were seated very quickly and out server was quick to our table. Once our order was in, however, she seemed to forget about us. We saw three different people. One took our order, one delivered the food and one delivered the drinks. We had to send one entree back. It was listed as spicy but was very very sweet. We didn't get checked on at all, our drinks stood empty long enough that we left and went to a bar for more.
we sat on the roof and enjoyed the food, service, and flicking pennies at the deranged street fodder. it was amazing.
Food was super average
First time to Moto-i. Loved it. We sat on the main level in a quiet booth. Candle lit ambiance. The food was fresh and inventive. Asian with a modern flare. Service was good, and we had a great time. They invited us to check out the outdoor patio, and after checking it out, we thought we would sit up there for a different approach next time. We will definitely be back!
The food was delicious! The service was good and our servers were attentive.
Great Ramen and a wonderful atmosphere! Will for sure be back again soon!
Great food, large portions, nice server, and delicious mocktails. Only downfalls were it being so dark we had to use our phones to read the menu clearly and a couple food items were out of stock. Will for sure go back again and maybe try the rooftop.
We did not ear there. The upper level outside dining area was closed so we left disappointed.
I made a reservation and even though there were open tables on the patio they sat at a ledge hanging over the edge of the roof patio basically looking at another building with people just rammed in there, eating of the ledge like a food truck. The food was nothing special at all and the service was the kind where the servers are just tolerating the people who are there. The decor was cartoonish to the point of cultural appropriation.
Moto-I is a perennial favorite. I brought guests from Tokyo and they thought it was delicious and memorable.
Service was a little slow, but not terrible. The little electronic pad thing they use now was kind of bogus and kept acting up. But the food was DELICIOUS and we got a lot of food for what we spent!! We will definitely be back.
Food came out slow and service was mediocre. Been there many times and this may have been the worst experience I’ve had there. Hopefully a onetime thing
We love moto-i. The food is amazing and a must taste of Minneapolis
The restaurant was fine food-wise, but SO HOT. Uncomfortable for us and for the wait staff.
It was so much fun to find a place that serves food late till 1:30 AM and that too super yum food. The roof top is a dream love to sit n just dream away time.Wonderful and happy staff. This place rocks
Their selection of sake is great and the rooftop and is awesome place to hang out for pre party drinks. The buns are fantastic
Everything was fabulous. Great customer service from the minute we walked through the door
Way to dark. It was even hard to see the person next to you let alone the menu. Food was good, but I had the Duck ramen that had no duck in it. Also we had to wave down the servers way to often. Lucky the company I had was what made the experience better.
Took an hour for them to make our ramen. They should’ve told us it would’ve taken that long so we would’ve been able to decide whether or not we wanted to wait. Instead, they’d just say it’d be soon. In the end, the classic ramen and the duck ramen that we ordered tasted alright, but weren’t worth an hour’s wait. I thought that the pricing and portion were okay, but I preferred the taste of the ramen from Icchido ramen, which was also a little bit cheaper and much faster.
