Sixteen friends had dinner on July 14, 2017. The ambiance was that of a small restaurant with a bar, dance floor, and live entertainment that we could hear but not see. Staff was friendly. Meals delivery was very slow. Several food items were not hot. Overall rating would be three-star on a five-star scale.

Maria and Vanessa always take great care of us! Food is prepared and presented well. Definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I quite enjoyed our evening. The new owner was eager to please and outgoing. She reached out to all customers. The food was good but not outstanding. I had the scallop dish and received only three scallops (three shrimp came as well, perhaps indicating a shortage of scallops). The risotto, on the other hand, was quite tasty but the portion small. My wife had a salad and added salmon to it. She was very pleased. A nice band (two person) played songs that were dance-able and the music was not intrusive. The crowd was older and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Good to very good food. Rather nice wine list, but was "out of stock" on first two choices. Upsold to a wine 30% higher. Service was uniformly unsatisfactory: inattentive bartender, indifferent hostess, invisible waitstaff. Have had success there in the past as a nice place to take a first date, so I tried it again....my date and I had such comically bad service that we started making jokes about it. I understand they have been "under new management" for about six months, but in my opinion one of the jewels of Sugarland has definitely taken a turn for the worse. Won't be back again any time soon.

Made reservations here for my hubby's birthday dinner for 7:45pm. Got to there and the doors were locked. We could see people inside and we have no idea if it was a private event or what was going on. We tried calling and nobody has answered the phone 3 days in a row. Needless to say I had to go somewhere else for dinner - Texas de Brazil and it worked out perfectly. I would think at this day and time at the very least they would have a note on their door or on their website letting people know if they are open for business or not. Well, thankfully there are 1001 more choices of restaurants in Sugar land - I will never waste my time going there.

It was closed, e.g. out of business. Why do this facility listed in your selections? You shouldn't do that to your subscribers. Pay attention to your recommendations.

We had a 7:00 reservation but when we arrived at the restaurant it was closed. There was no sign or indication for why it closed. We had to find another restaurant, which was disappointing since it was to be a special anniversary dinner.

We had a 6:30 reservation and the place was closed with doors locked at 6:30. We waited for 15 minutes but it never opened. Not sure if this place is closed permanently or not but not happy about the experience.
