Moshulu Ratings and Reviews
Such a beautiful place! The staff are very helpful and professional. The food is delicious!! And the View of the water out the window makes you feel like you’re on a cruise. My husband and I dined here for our 15 year anniversary it was a very special occasion they even went above and beyond to make special night even more special .
The ambiance is lovely. Had a loudmouth at the next table who was very annoying but that is not the restaurant’s fault. The crab cake entree was very good. The blackened swordfish was over cooked. Service is certainly relaxed. I would try Moshulu again hoping the dinner matches the lovely setting next time.
We had a fantastic evening here celebrating an engagement! The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere/view was exceptional. I definitely want to come back to try their Sunday brunch! The only complaint we had was that the service was a little spotty. There was actually a period of time where we thought we were going to be served out appetizers before we got our drinks! Luckily, that did not happen and from there on out, the rest of the dining and serving experience was wonderful. We would surely recommend and can't wait to go back there ourselves!
We were there to celebrate a birthday and our wait staff was very nice , but felt we were cleared quickly and never lingered . The music was very loud to start off with and not what we were expecting on board this vessel. The food was good , but not as exceptional as it could have been. The best part of the dinner was the dessert. I'm not sure we would return.
I’ve eaten here twice now, and it has become a tradition for my girlfriend and I every time we are in the Philadelphia area. The service, food, and overall ambiance of the place has been consistently excellent and I highly recommend trying their brunch for a morning / early afternoon date.
We were visiting Philly for the first time and wanted to do a few things that can't be found where we live. The idea of this is very cool - the reality is that stopping in for a drink on the upper deck would have been better, and way cheaper! We paid dearly for a totally average meal! To be fair, we chose to have dinner on the deck and, in hind-sight, dinner in the main dining room would have at least had actual crystal, china and silverware (as opposed to the all-plastic event that we experienced on the deck!) However, seeing and learning the history of the boat and experiencing the view kept the evening from being a total loss!
