Food and service were amazing. Be prepared for the hefty price tag.
From the GM (Ray) to our server, Delaney, the experience was first class and they paid attention to the little details that mean so much to diners!
Great fantastic the best of my life
The service was wonderful and the food was delicious
Morton's has a consistency of quality food and good service which aims to please with a customer is right attitude.
Service at this location is very friendly which adds to ambiance.
The food was delicious, atmosphere was nice but unfortunately our server was not your typical fine dining server. She Didn’t tell us specials, forgot my husbands drink, never asked anyone else if they needed anything. She then took a very long time to collect our bill. I would still definitely recommend this place as I heard all other servers recommending items and reading specials. The manager did call to follow up with my visit (I never complained in restaurant) so it’s nice to know that they care about their guests even after they leave their establishment.
The server didn’t offer me bread but all the other tables got it. I don’t know if it’s because I was alone and the bread is big so he didn’t offer. But still, he should have asked me at least. The onion soup is good but the ribeye is unexpectedly thin and tastes so salty. I’m quite disappointed at it. The cheesecake is fine. The total experience is not as good as I expected. I would prefer the one in hk, it’s really 5 star service and quality compared to US ones.
The restaurant told me we didn't have a reservation and was battling me on the fact that I didn't make one. In fact, what happened was they gave the reservation to another party. It was embarrassing to have to battle a hostess for a table when I am with a business guest.
Then we were offered a seat at the bar because they didn't have enough tables. Throughout the lunch, there were 10-15 tables open in our section. The service was horribly slow and while the food was good, I was turned off by the hostess and the overall experience. I would not recommend this restaurant for a business lunch.
Mortons has never let me down. This was my first dinner at this location and could not have been better.
The service and quality of the meal was outstanding. How many restaurants (the manager) call you the next day to be sure you had a satisfying dinner? Some people might think a chain does not have the quality of some of the other well known famous NY Steak Houses but that could not be more wrong.
Will be back for sure!
The food was awesome!
Price for food was a very expensive. $14 for a baked potato???
Monique is amazing! She knows the menu and was able to recommend great drinks and wines to pair with the food she suggested. I love Morton’s and this is my first time at World Trade Center location but I’ll be sure to be back to visit! Thank you for a great experience.
This gem of a restaurant is high y recommended for business meals. Nice ambiance with excellent service and a wide array of sumptuous offerings; what is there not to like!
Attended daughters play at Pace University.
Our server was fantastic, the maitre d’ was professional, courteous and very polite.
The steaks came out perfect, sizzling and at the requested temperature.
A wonderful evening!
I ordered a chicken club (obviously not the first choice for a steak place) and was disappointed. A thin chunk of chicken and slightly undercooked bacon did not result in a quality sandwich. The service, etc. was all fine.
Food was adequate but nothing special. Waitress didn't even know if they carried any organic wines. Why don't they have a sommelier. Any quality steakhouse should have one. Any how, I took my wife for our anniversary dinner and was a little disappointed. Live and learn.
This place is a true gem. It will always have a place in my memories. The food and atmosphere was savoring .
Had dinner here on a Friday night around 7pm. Good location if you want to explore WTC area. They do have happy hour from 4:30-7pm. Service was great and our server was very attentive. Food was great. It was our anniversary which we celebrated with two other couples. The only thing I was surprised about was that they did not offer us any complimentary dessert or drink for our anniversary which we've had at other establishments such as Smith & Wollensky as well as Capital Grille where we are regulars. This would have been the norm at those restaurants. Steaks were good but not as good as the aforementioned establishments. There were some moments where we did not have water and were waiting for certain items. Overall it was a great experience.
Got seated at the bar area instead of the main dinning room even though I made a reservation. Both steaks came out medium even though we ordered medium rare. The midtown branch was a much better experience.
Food was ok. Shrimp cocktail was amazing. Bread was a little dry, oddly. Steak was over cooked, and the bernaise sauce, which I ordered on the side, was right on top. Couldn’t send it back because it took forever to get the food in the first place. Service was extremely slow. Prices are very high. Room is loud and not easy to hear business conversation. There are much better steakhouses.
We have been here several times and the food is always well-prepared and tasty.
I’ve eaten at Morton’s plenty of times for dinner and am typically very happy with my experience. I decided to go for lunch and order off the 3-course menu this time and was extremely disappointed. I was with 3 friends we all ordered the ribeye steak, each of us got drastically different looking cuts mine was really thin and had a decent amount of fat on it, 2 of my friends had nice decent size cuts and one was mostly fat. The other 2 were mediocre at best. We each had mashed potatoes with them, as usual the sides were great, as well as the soups (tomato bisque and 3 onion soup both were phenomenal), and the meal comes with dessert which was also good. Overall the meal was fine but we were extremely disappointed in the steak which is the main part of the meal. As I said previously I’ve eaten dinner here plenty of times and at typically very happy, so I’m either going to say it was because we ordered from the price fixed menu they give you their garbage pieces of meat or because it was lunch and not dinner the care less about serving a good steak. In either case I probably won’t go back for lunch and if I do I will try to order from the regular menu to see if there’s a difference. The service is always great as well, and to be honest we didn’t make a big deal of it because it’s not the servers fault, it’s either the manager or the chef choosing to serve sub par cuts.
Amazing sea buss with miso glaze
As always the food was exceptional and the service superb.
We love Morton's but this time it was just ok. I would recommend others to try the uptown location.
Extremely over priced for the quality of the food. I understand expensive dining, but the taste and quality of the food should be commensurate with the cost! This was not.
Great for Buisness lunch.
Ho ordinato un filet mignon grande, ottimo gusto e cotto molto bene (medium) con puré un negroni come aperitivo e un calice di Malbec. Ho chiuso con un’ottima cheescake NY style.
It good - as usual
Came here after proposing to my now-fiance. Originally had the reservation at 9pm but called to move it up an hour and Tina was very accommodating. Gave us adequate time to order and enjoy each other. Food was outstanding!!! I ordered lamb chops, she ordered steak, and we had asparagus and mashed potatoes. She did start breaking out a little from a food allergy but management helped out with getting her better and gave us a discount on our check. Would come here again at any time!
Katie at the bar was awesome. Great service and friendly conversation.
Not up to par with the other morton’s I have visited. Waiter was overwhelmed. Bread came with appetizer Desert took forever
Never asked if we wanted coffee. Dinner was served at other tables that came well after we were seated. In the restaurant for 3 hours for dinner. Morton’s on 51st blows this place away.
Another great Mortons experience . Classic steakhouse dining using prime ingredients . Varied menu and wine list . Floor anchored by managers . First class service provider by our server Steph!
Small portions no no no mmmmmmmmmmmmkkkkkkffffttttt
The menu was quite comprehensive and accommodated all our palates. The service was excellent and attentive. It was a very enjoyable culinary experience. Albeit the wine that we chose was not available, the manager’s substitute recommendation was very good.
Our plans changed and we arrived early and restaurant was able to accommodate us, including our request for a quiet table. Wait staff timed the courses nicely and the food was on point and prepared superbly.
Food is great, but service is disappointing, they make mistakes when bringing food, waitress is impatient and food took almost 1h to ready.
Went for Restaurant Week dinner and it was a fantastic value. Started with some of their outstanding bread before moving on to tomatoes with blue cheese dressing. Onto the filet, one of the most tender I’ve ever had, along with their horseradish mashed potatoes which really packs a strong punch. Dessert was a velvety chocolate mousse. Service was very very nice.
