Food was great. Service was quick and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.
Food was amazing, service was amazing! My new fave spot!
Everything was great. The service was excellent.
Excellent food and service
Always amazing service, ambiance, food and drink....
Conveniently right next to our hotel!
Good food and service was great Our waiter made suggestions for our meal choices which were spot on. The Shrimp Alexander appetizer was delicious.Excellent wine menu. A reliable spot when you’re downtown.
Updated my review to reflect the fact that after contacting Morton’s via social media, they falsely claimed the Saturday exclusion was listed online. It was not. No apology. What a poor excuse for customer service.
Previous review: We came in for the restaurant week promotion only to be told it wasn’t available on Saturdays. Of course we did research before coming in. Their own website is promoting the $39 deal with no mention — anywhere — of the Saturday exclusion. The manager agreed that the exclusion was not mentioned. They refused to honor their own promotion. This is the definition of “bait and switch.” The manager gave us free shrimp. I thought about just paying for our drinks, leaving a $40 tip and walking out, but we stayed. The food was great, as always, but that scheme they’re running left a bad taste in my mouth.
I was greeted and seated very promptly. I was there for an early dinner alone. I think it was about 5:30pm. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly.
I had the shrimp cocktail as an app and it was great. HUGE size for the shrimp.
The ribeye was cooked to perfection and was tender, juicy and very flavorful. I accompanied that with the mushrooms and spinach.
A very enjoyable evening of dining.
Great location and easy access as we stayed at the World Center Hotel and the restaurant is attached. The service was excellent. The prices are what one would expect for NYC. The food did not blow me away, it was good but mediocre to what I’m sure could be found in the city elsewhere. Do not recommend the chopped salad for one it was huge and had too much dressing and poor presentation. Had the salmon which was cooked perfect and over a bed of cauliflower rice, corn and edamame which was quite good. The Tuna appetizer was okay. Would try again in the future for convenience if stayed a the same Hotel which btw was a great experience as well.
Service was a bit slow! Steak was great, warm not hot!
This place was absolutely amazing we even signed up for their rewards card . The servers the food the drinks everything was on point ! I will certainly be back.
Every course was great, including the cocktails. I cannot wait to go back for another dining experience, the steak was cooked to perfection and our server was very attentive and patient. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very elegant, clean, nice with a semi open kitchen (downstairs seating).
Delicious food and great service.
This particular Morton’s has become our favorite. Everything was perfect last evening. The cordial hostess accommodating us being a bit late and still honoring our table request. Our server was spot on perfect. Friendly but perfectly professional. There when we needed her and responsive as such. The food was exactly as we ordered to the t! Just an overall perfect dinner all the way around. Kuddos to a well run restaurant and staff!
Morton's is definitely an amazing food experience! I am a true FOODIE whom goes to restaurants to experience their food and service. And if I have great reviews I post them for others to check them out but I also call up my family and friends and tell them to check out the restaurant. Three weeks ago, I took a friend to Morton's and he enjoyed the food and service so much that now he is planning to have his sister's 21st birthday at Morton's. My dining experience was phenomenal! All of their steaks are GREAT but I must admit, when my son's father recommended I try the Cajun Ribeye, he knew what he was talking about. I'm grateful that my son's father told me to check out Morton's and not just because he works there but because the food truly is that amazing and orgasmic! 10 out of 10 for service, food and ambience! Go to Morton's Steakhouse because you'll regret it, if you don't. And leave room for dessert too! Go hungry and come out pleasantly full and satisfied!
Steak was cooked correctly, rare but
the top tasted burnt
Amazing experience! Everything was delicious and the service was exceptional!
We really enjoyed our first visit to Morton's - it's been on our weekly dinner list for a while now. The Cajun-spiced steak was great! And we enjoyed the appetizers and sides as well. And shout out to Kayleigh (apologies if I misspelled your name), who really took care of us and was so sweet and attentive.
Take advantage of the Restaurant Week value! What a treat to dine at a five star restaurant, served three courses, for $39/per person! The salmon and pork chop were perfectly prepared and ample portions of vegetables and starters. The warm chocolate cake and key lime pie (also included in the RWeek menu) were delicious!! So delighted to have the opportunity to try this classic steakhouse.
Outstanding service and food!
Food portions were extremely small and food lacked flavor. Over- powering smell of marijuana in the dining room. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Sooo accommodating and delightful!!!
Very good time
Outstanding, great food, service. Restaurant Week!
I went to Morton for my friend’s birthday and we had an amazing time
Our waiter was very nice, the whole staff was nice actually
However I wasn’t very happy with the filet mignon
I’ve had better steak than that and it was very disappointing
But the appetizer was amazing as well as the sour cream mashed potato,,, we had the Alexander Shrimp for appetizer and we both loved it
Overall it’s a beautiful place with a super nice/respectful staff and amazing food
It’s perfect for a date night, a birthday, anniversary celebration
Amazing from time we arrived until we left! They had personalized the menu for our granddaughter who was in town for dance competition! Certainly recommend and would definitely go again.
Everything was amazing. Management checked on us multiple times
Probably the worst dining experience from an establishment that we expected (and advertises) to be exceptional. Very disappointing from the moment we were seated. We requested the main dining room when we made our reservation, but we we seated in the bar/lounge area... the very LOUD and unpleasantly NOISY bar/lounge area. We dressed for an expected somewhat formal evening of wonderful food and good conversation, and were surrounded by diners wearing anything from jeans to shorts to tee-shirts to flip-flops. Each trying to out yell the others. Felt more like a neighborhood tavern than a upscale (and VERY EXPENSIVE ) restaurant. Steaks were fair, at best... didn't taste or cut like the "prime" meat that was advertised on the menu. The "Charred Street Corn" sounded good, but tasted like it was made with field corn. Extremely chewy and over salted. We mentioned this to our waiter and it was removed from our bill. All-in-all, Morton's "The Steakhouse" is truly false advertising. We will not ever return to another Morton's Restaurant. Period!
A fine selection for Restaurant Week 2021... Logan (Bartender) was a great... Refreshing and attentive and able to juggle the drink making for the House along with tending to a FULL bar! A fine addition to the FOH staff!
Our family and I celebrated our fathers 58th birthday and the service was perfect! The food was great as always! My husband and I have been to this location and the Atlantic City location and both with excellent service and food! Can’t wait to come back!
Might have been the best steak I ever had, Bone -In Ribeye, median. It was like butter. Been to a lot of steakhouses in Manhattan they have definitely stepped up there game. The hole staff from the GM Luis,to the manager Peter were very attentive stopping by the table to see if we needed anything... On a hole it can't be beat.Food, service and the upstairs bar area has a lot of ambience. We most definitely will be back.
I had a good experience at Mortan’s midtown years ago, but was very much underwhelmed. Some of the sides were good and a few of my friends enjoyed their dishes, but my filet was a bit over cooked and lacking in flavor. The prosciutto and mozzarella was terrible, the wagyu meatballs were ok, but the button mushrooms were delicious though. I ordered an apperol spritz to start off given that it was a warm day and that drink was not good.
Had a wonderful, quiet evening and an excellent meal.
It was my second time at Morton's (world trade) and it was just as wonderful as my first experience. My first experience was so great that I had to come back and bring a friend. My friend had an amazing experience and felt the food was exceptional! My friend is now planning on celebrating his sister's birthday at the restaurant because everything from the service, to the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere and decor was simply marvelous! And I already have another reservation scheduled to go with my best friend, so she can experience Morton's The Steakhouse, and then tell her family and friends about it. On a scale from 1 to 10, our overall review of the place is a 10. My first experience, my overall rating was a 9. I learned the second time there that seating downstairs is definitely my preference over dining on main level. The lower level gives more of an ambience of a fine dine restaurant. Upstairs seating has too much distraction with the entrance of the restaurant being right there. Lower level my preference and that's where I look forward to being seated when I dine again, in a few weeks, with my best friend. We sent pictures and recommended the restaurant to many friends and family. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, service, food and experience! - Emy
I loved the experience, the customer service was beyond any expectations I had.
The steak to die for and the truffle butter fries … omg im definitely coming back.
Absolutely thee best experience I ever had at any restaurant in the whe world. The staff were all amazing. Every single person from greeting to seating and service and even the chef came out to meet us. They made my wife the happiest person and she felt very special on her birthday. I Absolutely would highly recommend this exact location to anyone. 5 stars if possible I'd give them 10 stars. Thank the staff for a great memorable night from the Pardo family for me please. We were the LA California couple
The staff here are amazing and lovely. The food is great and the ambience makes you feel like you’re at a jazz bar in the 30s. Loved it for my boyfriends birthday!
Very good service and great food! Kid friendly fine dining! Definitely will visit again!
Excellent as always. Impeccable service. Luis the Manager, very attentive. My favorite restaurant.
