   Our server, Jeff, is always a delight, polished and professional. We always enjoy our dining experience when seated in his section. Special kudos to the hostess, she was welcoming and friendly and graciously accommodated our request to be seated in a booth in Jeff’s section. As for the meal, The oysters, the asparagus and the entrees were very good, prepared as we expect at Morton’s. Nice large wine list and we appreciated the specials.

   Our server was great The host was friendly and nice. The servers kept our water glass filled and table cleaned off quickly. Disappointed at the mis representation of the rewards program and how it’s allowed to be used.

   Our server, Kat P, provided us with a fun and memorable birthday dinner. She is friendly, kind, and attentive. The food was first rate and absolutely delicious. My wife loved the birthday dessert and the photograph too. We will be back at Mortons soon, and I will request Kat as our server!

   It’s truly disheartening to witness the steep decline in quality and service at what was once a respected fine dining institution—Morton’s Steakhouse in Woodland Hills. With so many elevated steakhouse options now available in the area—such as Larsen’s, Fleming’s, Ruth’s Chris, and soon STK—I had expected Morton’s to rise to the occasion and maintain the high standards it was once known for. Unfortunately, that was not the case. As a former weekly guest and past wine locker holder at this location, Morton’s once held a sentimental place in my heart. In fact, my last visit prior to this recent experience was on the night I proposed to my now wife—a memorable and joyful occasion. Naturally, we were excited to return for a double date, expecting the same level of excellence and warmth. From the moment we arrived, however, the experience fell apart. Despite being dressed tastefully and appropriately for the venue, we were met with a cold, dismissive attitude from the hostess. There was no sense of hospitality or warmth—something that should be a given at a restaurant of this caliber. We were seated at a small, poorly lit table that lacked ambiance or comfort. Unfortunately, the service only worsened from there. Our server appeared completely untrained and unfamiliar with the menu, the wine list, or the evening’s specials. She made no effort to guide us, connect with the table, or check in on our meals after they were served. There was a total absence of attentiveness and professionalism throughout the evening. The food itself was another major disappointment. Our steaks were burnt on the outside and nearly raw on the inside, despite being ordered medium-plus. The mushrooms were cold, and the Caesar salad was served without any noticeable dressing—we had to request more. The peppercorn sauce, which should be robust and flavorful, tasted like a watered-down gravy—completely devoid of complexity or refinement. It was a thoroughly disappointing night.

   The only issue I had was when the waiter took my lamb chops back to the kitchen to have them sliced and I’d already served a large portion of Crab Mashed potatoes on the same plate. When the lamb came back, the crab mashed were gone. So I missed out on that side dish.

    Understaffed long long wait for drinks and at the bar Waiter was great and on point he did what he could do!
