Great food and service. A wonderful birthday dinner for my wife.
Best tasting steak. Quality service. Attractive wine list.
My husband and I visited Morton's in White Plains for Restaurant Week. The service from Eric was outstanding! He was so attentive and very friendly. For appetizers, my husband had the lobster bisque which he said was good, not amazing but good, and I had the french onion soup which I enjoyed. For our entrees, we both had the 8 oz filets cooked medium rare. They were excellent and perfectly cooked! Finally, for dessert, I had the key lime pie, which was delicious, and my husband had the warm chocolate cake which he finished quickly so I assume it was great. Overall, we had a great experience and will be back!
It was amazing , service and food I will defenitly be coming back !
Everything was great. The Cajun steak and the Porterhouse were excellent, they were cooked perfectly.
Much prettier that old location on Maple Avenue, food better as well. Steaks done perfectly! Would like more vegetable options. Staff very nice.
As always, the dinner experience at Morton’s Steakhouse is spectacular! Our waiter Vladimir was very courteous and professional. He went out of his way to make my friend Cathy McGovern’s Birthday extra special! I enjoyed the Caesar salad and Chicken Christopher with shrimp and spinach sautéed with mushrooms. My friend Cathy loved her fish taco’s and lobster and shrimp dish. She loved her birthday cake-the Key Lime pie. Thank you for a lovely dining experience!
The waitress was a little scripted. She did her routine well...just felt too mechanical and imposing. She was also making suggestions about wine when we were not really interested in wine and did not ask her to make a suggestion.
The place is good. A bit over priced. I think the wait staff could use some polish.
First time going to the new location but was a frequent visitor at the old location in White Plains. It was a special occasion and the restaurant did the whole personalized menus thing and were attentive at the offset.
Then it was a slow progression of not working. Took a long time to get served, a long time for the starters to arrive, a long time for plates to be cleared and an even longer time for the main courses to arrive. Not sure if they are understaffed but trying to locate our waitress to address concerns was adding to the frustration.
Was told sorry for the delay on your main courses but they are coming. Then a while later we received a further apology that there was still a delay. Cooking steaks should not take this long. When they did arrive both steaks 12oz & 6oz were charred too much on the outside and the medium rare was closer rare and the medium was a well done. Morton's you're a high-end steakhouse, this should be a basic function to execute.
Two desserts and two coffees were ordered, which took an age to arrive and when delivered the coffees were not hot and then 5 mins later there was only one dessert delivered with an apology that the second one was coming presently. It didn't. We finally located the waitress again after the first dessert was nearly finished and the second dessert duly came with an apology.
Throughout, the staff were courteous, (overly) apologetic and often elusive, but it is apparent that something in that operation is not running smoothly there. The cost of the desserts was removed from the check but by then it was not a good brand experience at all for the new location and I don't see myself returning again.
A shame because it was a former favorite.
Consistent good food and service - they've settled in well to their fairly new downtown White Plains location - Sean & Tony manage a great staff very well
Been to Morton's many times but not the White Plains location, they never seem to disappoint great food great service nice atmosphere great music in the background. Morton's is a sure thing Steakhouse! Pricey but worth every cent, I mean every cent!
Beautiful atmosphere and amazing service
Amazing service and food. Love the new White Plains location
Our go to steakhouse in westchester and we’ve been to all of them. It was Valentine’s Day and we did not feel rushed one bit. The food is always cooked to perfection, drinks perfectly mixed, and the service second to none.
Morton’s is a great restaurant to attend for Valentines Day. Wait staff are very together, they pour you water each time your glass and a empty and will give you new utensils when the main entree is ready!
$70 for King Crab that is over cooked and precut. Manager took off bill. Get wine vintages correct.
Great food and service like always.
Sean, Tony and the team are always great. We were there to celebrate a colleague’s MBA. Tony had called in the afternoon, checked on the occasion and printed personal menu’s recognizing her achievement (keep in mind this was a table of 3 not a large group). These little things make Morton’s a go to for special occasions.
Definite upgrade. The old Morton's in WP was very good; the new location is terrific and very much a true sister location to the Manhattan outpost. great meal.
It was lovely except for both of us, our drinks came in cracked glasses.
You receive a warm welcome at the door. We usually get there early to have drinks at the bar. I will say that the bar service was not up to their usual standard. We were never asked if we wanted another drink (which we did)
The service at the table was excellent and very attentive. The server did apologize several times for the delay in getting drinks from the bar. This is not the norm by any means so probably an off night.
We will definitely go again.
Friends coming over
The food was very good and the service was excellent.
Poor service . Food very good and well prepared. Excellent soufflé. Very nice atmosphere. Extremely pricy.
Everything was great,we requested to be out by a certain time to go to a play and they meet our request. They still provide great service,Thank you.
Dined at Morton's for a celebratory dinner. Our experience went above and beyond our expectations. Had the most delicious meal with impeccable service. Highly highly highly recommend. Thank you Morton's!!
We both had their 40th Anniversary Special, which included soup or salad, main course with side and dessert for $40. 6oz. Filet mignon was excellent and sides of mashed potatoes and creamed corn. Topped off with a slice of key lime pie. Very leisurely meal and very good service.
Food and service was good. Disappointed that Morton's didn't have the 40 Menu out and when asked.....the server said "that's the secret menu".
There regular and a $63.00 menu where on the table. I ordered from the regular menu, I just felt like Morton's was hiding the $40 menue.
Excellent! Love the new location. The food and service on point. Mortons doesn’t disappoint. Best Crab Cakes anywhere, the Cajun Ribeye is a must and so are some of their new dishes - Bacon Steak and Truffle Cauliflower. Our Server Robert was terrific and so were the managers Sean & Tony. Thank you.
This was my first time dining at any Morton’s restaurant. The waiter did not inform us of the 40th Anniversary menu. We had to ask for it! I ordered blue cheese butter with my steak-never got it. Also, my steak was cool & not warm. Doubtful I will return.
Awesome as usual. Can never go wrong with a Morton’s.
Do yourself a favor and go to BLT instead which is right across the street you will get outstanding service and will feel like your money bought you a great meal! Service at Morton’s was slow and sub par; wine took 30 minutes to arrive that is 15 minutes after they discovered that they ran out of my 1st choice of red wine. I had to ask for water glass to be refilled. At their price point I expect to not have to ask for water to be refilled. By far the most disappointing value for a chilled seafood tower for 2 anywhere in the area. Presentation was sad with 2 wilted pieces of lettuce holding minuscule amounts of lobster and crab; 2 oysters and 2 shrimp = $60. I gladly pay $100 at BLT but the value is there. $75 tower at Smith Nomad will feed 4 people and that’s in the city. Steak was ok; absolutely nothing to write home about. The only great thing about this dinner was the carrot cake. Again - I have no issue with above $50 anything price point but this restaurant absolutely can not support their price point - service is not there and quality is mediocre at best. BLT all the way.
The service was good really good and the restaurant is pretty. However the steak was tasteless. Absolutely tasteless. I would go back to Frankie and Johnnies in a heartbeat before going here.
Excellent steaks and sides. We were seated near the open kitchen at the new White Plains location which was not optimal. I should have asked for a table more in the center of the restaurant. I suggest diners ask to be seated more centrally not in the back near the open kitchen.
We had a very pleasant dining experience on New Year’s Eve. However, the one thing that put a slight damper on our evening was the street being closed off and having to walk further than expected in the freezing cold - so I wish the restaurant would have given us a heads up.
Great service from the staff, nice ambiance...but be prepared to spend a pretty penny!! Well worth it though. Food and drinks were really good
Food was delicious and service was exceptional! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Very lovely! Excellent service and familial atmosphere.
Lobster Mac and Cheese and chocolate soufflé did not meet expectations. Location and ambiance is much better than their old location.
Always luv Morton’s WP!
Shawn, Anthony & Shannon are fabulous 😍
