Bad neal food very under prepared
I can a better cut of steak from my local dinner. The advertised picture didn't match the meal
We went there for my Mothers birthday. While the food is always amazing the service was a little lacking. We ordered coffee and it was forgotten. When the orders came out to us we all got each others orders. They did finally bring the coffee out and we were not charged for the coffee and a desert to make up for the service, which we appreciated but would have paid the full price and received the expected service from the beginning.
Very mediocre. Never got an ordered soda. Filet ordered MR came mooing. Meat very average. Souffle for dessert watery. Not worth the $$. Pity as last time was quite good. Off their game tonight.
40 birthday for my son.. a night to remember
Food was spectacular. Service was horrible. Incredibly disorganized. Easily the worst Morton's I have been to.
WE loved dinner at Morton’s. It was a quiet Monday evening and the service was terrific. We were able to catch up & have lots of conversation without being interrupted. Server was a doll and did not hover. The food was fabulous. The steaks were made to perfection and the side dishes were so good! They even called us a cab to return to our hotel. Would definitely recommend Morton’s and look forward to returning.
We had a very delicious meal with great service. For the birthday girl they took a picture and gave her one to take home. Nice evening!
Perfectly prepared and presented meals. Delicious salads, tender and flavorful filet and tasty desserts. The service was extremely professional. We had a terrific dining experience. Thanks!
First time at Mortons for Restaurant Week. We will definitely be back! The filet mignon melted in my mouth. All the food was outstanding, especially the lava cake. Service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
Wonderful meal and Joshua was an attentive and pleasant waiter- couldn’t have asked for better
Everything was perfect! Excellent wait staff, terrific steak. Great night for our Anniversary.
Went with Kathy and Chris and had a remarkable steak dinner.
The restaurant was quite crowded on Saturday night.
We had the Lobster Bisque, Caesar salad and Ahi Tuna Tower for appetizer.
all were great. Then Kathy and Chris had the filet. both said great.
I had the porter house. We had a side of truffle sauce was great with it.
sides and a piece of carrot cake was excellent.
Camille the server was very good.
Sean the maitre was very good as he went around to all the tables and was quite jovial.
Great service, ambiance, and steaks. Wine choices are very nice, however a little pricey.
A wonderful dining experience to treat yourself to.
Their service was great! I like this steakhouse best in Westchester!
Was very surprised at the hard sell of the wait staff. Went for Restaurant Week -- needed to ask for the Restaurant Week menu, as did the two tables next to ours -- and then was advised "the potions are half portions, you should consider adding ........" then they recited a well rehearsed list of appetizers and entrees. Including recommending three different bottles of wine. In retail this would be called "push money." Clearly, the waitstaff is compensated not only with tips, but they must get a commission on sales. The only prompt service was after I gave my credit card. Got the bill in about 30 seconds. Intervals between courses measured in quarter-hours.
Our experience at Morten's was excellent! The service was attentive and our waittress knowlegeable, friendly and very upbeat. While it is pricey, the portions are huge and delicious. It was perfect for my sons 25th birthday dinner.
Disappointed should have went X20 service a bar was fabulous Anthony was one point But no buypack not even after closing out bill and deciding to eat @ bar steak was a disappointment the au poive sauce attempt was comical hash brown was good drinks where Excellent
Of the three similar steakhouses, RC, CG, Morton's, I always thought of Morton's as third. Our dinner at this location changed my mind. Service was very good, food was great, cocktail list better than ever. Easily tied for number one, will definitely be back.
Service was good Was seated promptly with reservations on a weekday ... food was average certainly not worth the price . Would not return again!
Great food and service. A wonderful birthday dinner for my wife.
Best tasting steak. Quality service. Attractive wine list.
My husband and I visited Morton's in White Plains for Restaurant Week. The service from Eric was outstanding! He was so attentive and very friendly. For appetizers, my husband had the lobster bisque which he said was good, not amazing but good, and I had the french onion soup which I enjoyed. For our entrees, we both had the 8 oz filets cooked medium rare. They were excellent and perfectly cooked! Finally, for dessert, I had the key lime pie, which was delicious, and my husband had the warm chocolate cake which he finished quickly so I assume it was great. Overall, we had a great experience and will be back!
It was amazing , service and food I will defenitly be coming back !
Everything was great. The Cajun steak and the Porterhouse were excellent, they were cooked perfectly.
Much prettier that old location on Maple Avenue, food better as well. Steaks done perfectly! Would like more vegetable options. Staff very nice.
As always, the dinner experience at Morton’s Steakhouse is spectacular! Our waiter Vladimir was very courteous and professional. He went out of his way to make my friend Cathy McGovern’s Birthday extra special! I enjoyed the Caesar salad and Chicken Christopher with shrimp and spinach sautéed with mushrooms. My friend Cathy loved her fish taco’s and lobster and shrimp dish. She loved her birthday cake-the Key Lime pie. Thank you for a lovely dining experience!
The waitress was a little scripted. She did her routine well...just felt too mechanical and imposing. She was also making suggestions about wine when we were not really interested in wine and did not ask her to make a suggestion.
The place is good. A bit over priced. I think the wait staff could use some polish.
First time going to the new location but was a frequent visitor at the old location in White Plains. It was a special occasion and the restaurant did the whole personalized menus thing and were attentive at the offset.
Then it was a slow progression of not working. Took a long time to get served, a long time for the starters to arrive, a long time for plates to be cleared and an even longer time for the main courses to arrive. Not sure if they are understaffed but trying to locate our waitress to address concerns was adding to the frustration.
Was told sorry for the delay on your main courses but they are coming. Then a while later we received a further apology that there was still a delay. Cooking steaks should not take this long. When they did arrive both steaks 12oz & 6oz were charred too much on the outside and the medium rare was closer rare and the medium was a well done. Morton's you're a high-end steakhouse, this should be a basic function to execute.
Two desserts and two coffees were ordered, which took an age to arrive and when delivered the coffees were not hot and then 5 mins later there was only one dessert delivered with an apology that the second one was coming presently. It didn't. We finally located the waitress again after the first dessert was nearly finished and the second dessert duly came with an apology.
Throughout, the staff were courteous, (overly) apologetic and often elusive, but it is apparent that something in that operation is not running smoothly there. The cost of the desserts was removed from the check but by then it was not a good brand experience at all for the new location and I don't see myself returning again.
A shame because it was a former favorite.
Consistent good food and service - they've settled in well to their fairly new downtown White Plains location - Sean & Tony manage a great staff very well
Been to Morton's many times but not the White Plains location, they never seem to disappoint great food great service nice atmosphere great music in the background. Morton's is a sure thing Steakhouse! Pricey but worth every cent, I mean every cent!
Beautiful atmosphere and amazing service
Amazing service and food. Love the new White Plains location
Our go to steakhouse in westchester and we’ve been to all of them. It was Valentine’s Day and we did not feel rushed one bit. The food is always cooked to perfection, drinks perfectly mixed, and the service second to none.
Morton’s is a great restaurant to attend for Valentines Day. Wait staff are very together, they pour you water each time your glass and a empty and will give you new utensils when the main entree is ready!
$70 for King Crab that is over cooked and precut. Manager took off bill. Get wine vintages correct.
Great food and service like always.
Sean, Tony and the team are always great. We were there to celebrate a colleague’s MBA. Tony had called in the afternoon, checked on the occasion and printed personal menu’s recognizing her achievement (keep in mind this was a table of 3 not a large group). These little things make Morton’s a go to for special occasions.
Definite upgrade. The old Morton's in WP was very good; the new location is terrific and very much a true sister location to the Manhattan outpost. great meal.
It was lovely except for both of us, our drinks came in cracked glasses.
