Service and food was great as always!! Keep up the great work!! Happy Holidays!!
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner. All the staff really made us feel welcome.
Atypical dinning experience. Filet Mignon was at first way over cooked then charred black and blue. Two other Filets were properly cooked but underwhelming. The sides were also underwhelming. Over 20 minutes passed between our being seated to any staff appearing despite the restaurant being 85% empty. Drinks were inconsistent. Kudos for deleting the uneaten Filet unprompted. Overall our return post Covid was very disappointing.
Food was delicious and served promptly. Service was fast and considerate.
I made reservation and went there due to restaurant week event, but they told me they don’t have this event on Saturday. When I made reservation they said they have the event. So they lied to us and charged much higher.
Got sat at a table that was crooked, got moved but why put us there in the first place. Got a drink and it tasted like cough syrup still got charged for it after I asked for another drink. No soufflés being made due to low staffing..
The experience was not what I expected for my 1st time. Especially on a Thursday where it was not many people, I expected way better food and drinks, the drinks had a lack of alcohol the food (lobster tail & filet) were dryyyy and cold. Managers checked in often before receiving food but definitely not after where I would have stated the poor quality. My partner enjoyed his skirt steak but didn’t like his drink either. I personally wanted to go to Jersey but he didn’t 🙄.
Classic steakhouse with great food, great service, and prices in line with other steakhouses. Downtown White Plains location makes it convenient.
Evelyn, our waitress, was amazing.
She was super friendly and had a fantastic personality. She made us feel like family. The food was good too!
Overall I would say that I do not think we will be going back to Morton's. It was restaurant week and we went for our anniversary and the place was fairly empty. We had drinks at the bar before dinner because the table wasnt ready and the bartender could not have been less friendly. When we sat at the table we had to ask for the restaurant week menu and were treated like second class citizens from that point forward, even though we ordered additional drinks and wine. You would have thought they would have been appreciative to have people eating there on a tuesday since the place was empty. The food was adequate but when the bill came it was folded over so that all you saw was the total. When I examined the bill we were charged $45 per meal as opposed to the $35 restaurant week menu. When questioned, the waiter simply said he did not know how that could have happened. It was clear that it was intentional hoping that we would not look at the breakdown of charges. Wont be going back.
Always a pleasurable dining experience from start to finish.
The food was delicious. Service was outstanding from the hostess to the server.
Hostess was great the sever wasn't to friendly food took about forty minutes to come out didn't bring us a bread basket the manager greeted everyone around us but not us atmosphere wasn't good at all
As items on the regular menu are quite expensive, Restaurant Week was a great value at $35.95. The food was delicious and portions were generous.
It was amazing!! We went for restaurant week and the fixed menu was delicious!! Didn’t think I was going to get full
Our food was prepared exactly as we like it. The service was attentive and professional. The staff at Morton’s brought their “A” game last night. It was also nice to see many others enjoying their dinners after over a year of empty restaurants due to the pandemic and the lockdowns.
Always a pleasure! Had a fantastic meal with family. So wonderful to get out and enjoy a delicious dinner. The waitstaff was excellent and attentive.
The food was good but the service was lacking. We had to seat ourselves then it took a long time before the server came and got our drink and food order. After the food came we wanted to order more sides but she didn't check on us until we had already finished our food. For how much the food cost, I would think the service would have been much better. We were initially going to order coffee and desert but got turned off by the lack of interest.
There was a long delay in getting served as the waiter did not realize that he was responsible for our table. The waiter also forgot to bring out our appetizer course so we ended up just proceeding straight to entrees. The steaks were all substantially overcooked and were borderline not edible. They were ordered as medium rare and came out totally grey all the way through with no pink. The waiter replaced the steaks, but they actually came out rare the next time with ice cold centers. We just decided to eat them versus sending them back a second time. It seems the restaurant is dealing with a substantial number of issues. Given the prices, this was a very underwhelming experience and we would not return.
Reserved a table for 10, was not set up when we arrived
The service was HORRENDOUS
The bread was a whole loaf & very annoying & sloppy to cut
Our food took a very long time to come out & when our main course came out, ONLY 3 MEALS WERE GIVEN OUT for about 10 min so it was either wait longer or eat rudely
Manager discounted the check, however when we asked to see him it took him way longer than it should have to come talk to us
A 3 course meal took 4 hours!
The food was & couldve been amazing, but it was not served properly & was a major disappointment
We were seated and waited almost twenty minutes before our waiter arrived and gave us menus. It was restaurant week and we ordered off that menu. However, the filet that we received was definitely not up to Morton's standards. Of course, if we wanted to pay "extra" we might have gotten a better piece of meat.
I have been to many other restaurant week places, but have never been as disappointed as we were at Morton's.
Very nice atmosphere, delicious food (my rare steak was cooked perfectly) and outstanding service. I appreciated the masculine decor. An enjoyable experience and I would definitely go back.
I was lucky enough to have two services both who were amazing. I’m booking now due to such a great experience. Even the managerial staff checked in both food services and customer service. This place is amazing and my food was great.
See you all Monday!
It was my birthday and Lyndsey was amazing! Service and food was great.
We went there for their special Halloween menu. The food and the service were exceptional as always.
staff was very friendly great experience i would recommend this location to anyone
Service and food were beyond exceptional. The porterhouse for one with truffle butter is one of the best I’ve had. There is also a new mushroom and onion side that’s delicious. I always ask for our server to be Margarita. She is very attentive.
Great experience again!
The food was great the server was not attentive at all she didn’t check on us didn’t ask how’s the food or if we needed another round of drinks the food came out a little cold just poor service they also ran out of bread
Excellent service. Bread, salad, salmon excellent. Steaks not memorable, and for price point expected more.
I went here for my birthday . The customer service is amazing and the setting is beautiful and calm . I didn’t enjoy my food too much so i wouldn’t return but everyone has different taste palates so i would still recommend
Had a great experience once again the staff was exceptional! Manager included. Everything was seamless. Plus most of all the food was amazing! We really like the new corn soufflé.
My steak was cooked just right . The sides were just ok , nothing to write home about. The service was good and attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was good and so was my drink . A little pricey which I knew before I made my reservations. Overall it was a good night out and I would rate it a very good experience.. Thanks
Very good good, would go back.
Wow. It is all about the team here. The food is as to be expected but the staff makes it all worth while!
I used to be a huge fan of del friscos but their service has went to the crapper.
Love the staff here at Mortons white Plains. They Truly make a great dining experience.
Celebrated my boyfriend’s job promotion. It was a wonderful experience. Morton’s had a customized menu for us. Our server toon our photo and brought it to us in a nice frame saying Congratulations!! The menu option was unmatched, the ambiance was lovely and our server Anthony was very attentive and friendly. The dessert was delicious. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and time at Morton’s Steakhouse.
The steak was mediocre. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food arrived on tine but drink service the table was bad. It seems to be due to lack of staff.
Morton's White Plains is always a great place to enjoy a meal, it's one of my go too's and never disaapoints
