Morton's The Steakhouse - St. Louis
My husband and I had the weekend summer special. Food and service were exceptional. Recommended for a special occasion.
10 year anniversary. Great experience during this weird time of COVID. Great service and felt safe.
Quite a delightful dining experience. I strongly recommend.
Great experience noisy three top by us but will go back
We had the most memorable evening last night to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Wonderful courteous service & delicious food from the bacon steak, Shrimp Alexander & crab cake appetizers to the lobster bisque, tomato salad, asparagus, filet, horseradish mashed potatoes to the cheesecake dessert. It was all so tasty.
The evening was extra special with the happy birthday greeting printed on our menu, the wonderful photo keepsake that was designed by one of the hostesses & the cheesecake dessert.
It was the perfect dining experience!!
Uncompromising service and outstanding steaks describe this experience at Morton's. Keep in mind the competent and compelling wine list and genius cocktail offerings. Morton's is definitely worth the trip and price. Looking forward to returning soon.
Morton’s Steakhouse is located in the cigarette smoke filled hallways of Lumiere Place Casino. Parking was a mess, valet was not available and parking garage was packed and no Morton Steakhouse Parking. The casino fire alarms went off during our dinner - strobe lights and sirens (I have a video it was so awful).
Dinner itself was excellent. The shrimp cocktail was wonderful and my filet was excellent. The ambiance ruined dinner and I would not recommend going. There are excellent steak houses in St Louis like Morton’s use to be in Clayton.
Have been to Morton's several time unfortunately this time was just lackluster at best. Waitress was great but the food was marginal, Mashed potatoes and asparagus were just barely warm, wife's steak was under-cooked, not sure we'll go back.... When you spend $300 on a meal, drinks and tip it should be excellent every time
To be fair I was not expecting it to be in the casino. It was loud and I'm not a fan of the decor. The service was fine but not the level of finesse I'd expect for the price. The steak was quite good but the sides didn't hold up. Overall was an okay experience but won't be going back.
The food and service was awesome.
Fabulous as always!
Beautiful restaurant. Caesar salad had been terrible on both evenings we have eaten there. Service was marginal at best. Waitress was very disengaged, service very slow. Only 10 or so tables occupied and it was about an hour before we received our entrees. Waitress did not come back to check on us until my husband was done with his steak. It was undercooked but we couldn’t send it back as she did not come to check on us. Took a long time to even get refills on drinks. Was disappointed to say the least.
Its Morton's... Take your girl there and should be 85% probability you will get the cheeks that night! I did!!!
Great experience and food is top rate.
Only issue is smoke from the casino wafted in the restaurant.
Great service, knowledgeable server. Great touch that management stopped to ask us how the meal was so far.
Had dinner with two of my good friends to help celebrate my birthday. From being greeted at the entrance to departure, our experience was great. Responsive, friendly, non-intrusive service. Excellent drinks and food. Paul Nelson runs a fine establishment. Will keep going back.
2 inch tall steak ordered medium rare. Came out well done. Powdered mashed potatoes. Enough said.
Excellent as always!
The smell in this restaurant wafting in from the casino is terrible. Our waitress was well intentioned but since relocating to The casino it’s definitely changed the attention to detail. Our food was salty and undercooked but expensive.
Fantastic food, excellent service (Craig was outstandingly attentive, & has a great sense of humor).
Wifes Birthday was good as a result of Morton’s
A lovely dining setting in the casino. Steaks are top notch. You pay a lot; you get a lot.
Absolutely Horrible. I worked at the one of the original Mortons back in early 90s. The food was spectacular then. The food quality has degraded to the point that it is unrecognizable. The service was terrible and the prices are absolutely outrageous - and I have no problem spending a pretty penny on quality food and service. One glass of house wine was $17. Do not waste your time or money here. Simply terrible and it is sad that corporate has ruined the good name of a restaurateur like Arnie Morton.
Our evening at Morton’s was fantastic!! The food was great from appetizer to desert. Our waiter “Craig” was the best we have ever had in all our years of dining out. We would recommend Morton’s and Craig to anyone! Bring your appetite!
Everything is always fantastic!
Service was very poor over 30 minutes to get a drink Another 20 minutes for a refill, About 45 minutes from the time we placed our order to get a basket of bread. Our bill for 2 was $300 and the service was no way near what it should Have been. The food was very good But the best part of the Meal turned out to be the chocolate dessert cake. Arnie would be spinning in his grave
Always as great experience. Food is prepared perfectly. Well worth it!
This Mortons is in a casino so you get all the cigarette smoke coming in and there is a bit of it in the restaurant as well from the casino. Not many people in the restaurant so a little quiet for my taste.
It was excellent.
The food was great, the wine selection was awesome and the service was remarkable!
The restaurant is great, but walking through the casino lobby is not so great.
We were in the side room so didn’t hear any casino noise.
Awesome dude an awesome service the steaks were cooked perfectly the seafood was fresh
Morton’s never disappoints. Guaranteed to provide a top quality meal with quality service. Our server, Crystal, was ready and eager to provide yet was unobtrusive. The creamed corn is to die for and there are no better cuts of meat. A wonderful venue for a romantic meal!
I have been recommending this place ever since i ate here. My wife ( who doesn't like steak )loves steak now! We cant wait to go back. A little pricy but worth it for special occasions.
The place is empty, friday night and maybe 8 guests. The food is still good but doesnt have any of the special touches like the clayton location had. The staff is nice but clearly looking at the door, again not that special place it once was. The super smoky casino air permeates everything.
Food and service were perfect!!!
The food and service was excellent! The dining room was beautiful! But , the whole dining area smelled of cigarettes and a deodorizer to disguise the smell. The walk through the casino was awful. Too bad, this restaurant isn't somewhere else!
