I really enjoyed myself for my birthday here, I was really treated great.
The overwhelming stench of old cigarette smoke was gross. If I had known that this restaurant was inside the casino that allowed smoking I would have chosen a different restaurant. That being said the wait staff were excellent the food was tasty. The maitre d was accommodating
Our experience was phenomenal and definitely a moment to remember from the food to the outstanding service we got and very humorous as well which we love people with flare and personality, would we come there again? ABSOLUTELY!!
Thank y’all for a great time and we will be back St.Louis with are daughters so get the extinguisher cause they may burn the mother down lol
My wife and I are in town on a business trip and decided to book a reservation at Morton’s. The staff and service level here is incredible. Our waiter, Peter, absolutely qualifies as a fine dining service professional as did the Maitre d. The food was very good.
The location left a lot to be desired. When we booked through OpenTable we didn’t realize this location is inside a casino. It is accordingly loud and reeks of cigarette smoke. I have to imagine it’s to cover the cigarette odor, the interior of Morton’s is heavily perfumed. The staff was very gracious and tried to move our table to reduce the smell but it isn’t really something in their control.
I would love to dine with the wonderful staff here again but we don’t have any desire to enter the building again.
Morton's in St Louis is as always a fine place to meet, drink, and dine. Excellent ambiance, excellent bartender. All food courses are well made and served at appropriate temps and very timely. Will certainly return.
Extremely slow service, our server was super busy.
Great dinner. Great service.
Morton's The Steakhouse - St. Louis was an excellent choice for dinner. The ambiance was excellent and our server was amazing! Food and Drink were on point!!
Great food and service. First class restaurant.
Restaurant is within casino and smells very smokey. We sat down and the staff was excellent, attentive and offered to move us. The smell and ambiance was not good. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all and I can understand why. This was not what we expected from a Morton’s.
Not what I expected from Morton’s Steakhouse or any fancy steakhouse. I have been to a few others in different states. $18 margarita with cheap tequila. Wine recommendation was not a good choice. Brought the wrong drink to begin and only asked if we wanted to change it. Just overall a place I wouldn’t recommend for the price especially for a special occasion like a birthday.
Felt pretty bad for taking my wife to this steakhouse for her birthday. We usually celebrate birthdays and anniversaries at Steakhouse and definitely at the bottom of all the places we’ve been.
Although the steak was perfect. The rest was junk. The service lacked. I was constantly chasing the servers for something I will personally never recommend this Morton’s to anyone. And actually hope this review will help deter one from going to.
Completely understaffed not the wait staffs fault
Outstanding food and service. I love the atmosphere. Nice wine displays. Great time.
The food and food service was outstanding. Beverage service was slow. Restaurant was nice, but temperature was hot. Overall very nice
Everything was great!
Lovely birthday dinner for 2 on a Friday night. Honestly everything was pretty great, albeit overpriced for what you get. I will say, the portions we generous, but I ordered a PRIME Ribeye for $60. Asked for medium-well and it was very well done. Typically a medium-well comes to you with a decent amount of pink throughout the center. This was a little like eating chop-meat. The birthday girl had a filet and ordered it “medium-well” also and hers came out perfect and was an excellent cut of meat.
I would just hope that a steak THAT expensive would have been prepared better and had a bit more flavor (aka some salt, for example).
Other than that, it was a great place and our waitress was amazing! Dessert was outstanding…a lovely individually made cheesecake with a nicely brûlée top.
We always eat at the bar, served by Sandra. She’s great.
Drink prices are way too pricy. That’s the drawback.
Karen sat us at the table her attentiveness was warm and it truly set the atmosphere for the night. The night was wonderful, from the service to the food. I will be back, great job Morton’s
Great atmosphere and service. Food and drinks were exceptional.
The waiter was fantastic. The food was really good. You have to walk all the way through a loud, smoky, stinky casino to get to the restaurant. Once you’re there, its very loud and still smells lije old cheap cugarettes.
The food was okay, we’ve had better entrees and sides at other restaurants that was cheaper. The Wagyu was quite good, but not the best I’ve had. The lobster Mac and cheese had almost no lobster and the Brussel sprouts weren’t cooked well and tasted bland.
The service was excellent, however! We were well attended and numerous servers congratulated on our anniversary. The service was definitely the highlight of the meal.
Overall, average food, average atmosphere (the restaurant is located inside a casino that smells strongly of cigarette smoke- not really the restaurant’s fault), excellent service, but unfortunately equates to a poor value. We likely won’t return.
We were told we were not dressed appropriately! Absolutely stunned they would not seat my myself, husband and three children ages 17, 15 and 11. My husband is a surgeon and I own my own home remodeling business. We drove here from Cincinnati to see a Cardinals game and then made a reservation through open table for dinner at Morton’s. We spend plenty of money at steak restaurants like Ruby’s and can’t believe how demeaned this restaurant made us feel. Completely unacceptable.
Had my Birthday Dinner here! Excellent food & service from Daniel 🥰🥰🥰
I've been to over 100 steakhouses in my life and this was my first time ever at any of the Morton's franchise. Was really looking forward to it, but was quite disappointed. Service was great. Classic steakhouse atmosphere. Ordered wagyu filet to treat myself and a small lobster tail. Steak was below average for just USDA or angus class. Lobster tough and not sweet. Bernaise sauce was cold out of refrigerator. Au gratin potatoes and bread were the highlights of my meal. Maybe just a bad night, but it will be difficult to pay them another visit .... sorry to post a bad review 😕👎
Peter was an awesome server. Was very attentive and down to earth.
The waiter took a long time to take our orders ! We were a party of 6 ! We waited an hour on our food and once we received it …the food was barely warm ! Everyone received their meat first then waited 5 more minutes for our sides
my total bill was almost $200. Not pleased. I went for the $55 chefs special for me and my fiancee ($110 total). We also got 1 lemon drop and 1 margarita (maybe $40 total). Some how, our total was $189.76. That doesn't add up.
You have to walk through the very Smokey casino to get to the entrance. The restaurant itself was very dark. The food was really good. Service was a little slow considering how empty the restaurant was.
Everything was good. Just the server forgot my side dish when we wanted our food to go & I didn't notice until after we left.
Service is great, the waiter was great. Would recommend
Very bad experience, the waitress tried very hard to make up for the very bad wine and food service. The wine bottle arrived after we had finished the first course. The time frame between the first and second courses was 25 minutes. Not the service level you expect at a restaurant with such prices.
They served my husband's filet raw and then refired the same steak. The lobster tail was so over cooked we had trouble cutting it with a steak knife. We had better service from the bus boy than our waitress. Definitely not worth the $167 bill.
Our waitress Kendra was absolutely amazing. She let us know all about the place, the foods, it was an awesome experience.
Outstanding restaurant to celebrate an anniversary! Fabulous service and nice touches, including a picture, dessert and individualized, signed menu!
Every thing was great but a extremely loud person that did not shut up for one minute and I mean that!!! She wanted to make sure EVERYONE knew she was in the house!! The staff should of politely said something to her.
Food was ok a little overpriced and over rated. Waiter was very polite but forgot Salads until I mentioned something after Dinner was served.
The Lobster Bisque was runny and almost boiling hot like it was microwaved. As a member I was second guessing my restaurant choice.
The occasion was Father’s Day, it was our first time eating at the restaurant and we both loved it 😍 the server was awesome along with the food. Really looking forward to going back!
Our server, Danial, forgot my order of onion soup and didn't bring us any bread until after he served our steaks. He also forgot salt & pepper for which we asked, forcing us to ask another server passing by who brought us two pepper grinders and no salt. We then corralled another server passing by to bring us the salt. By then our steaks were luke warm. During all of this, Danial was AWOL! Not to be seen. When told he forgot the soup he apologized but said nothing else. We drove to St. Louis from Kansas City just to eat at Morton's for father's day. This was a terrible experience.
