View Private Dining DetailsGreat food, but I failed to ask the market price of the 2lb crab legs that I ordered.
$120.00 later.....just for crab legs???
Top notch food and service. The beefsteak tomato salad is exceptional
We just came home from vacation and wanted a Great Steak. There is never a disappointment going to Mortons. The steak was cooked perfectly. The quality of meat is great since I like it rare.
This is the place for Steak.
The service is also great. They are always filling water glasses. [Big water drinker.]
A VERY good evening.
The best place !
Great overall!
Steaks were cooked perfect, everything was served timely, and the service was flawless.
Overpriced and just old
Wonderful as usual
Mark was a great server! Food was great, per usual!
Another great evening at Morton's. The add on Lobster tail was great!
Awesome
Glad Landry Group owns this classic steakhouse
Well Done!
Great food service and drinks! The steaks were perfect! We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and Morton's made the night memorable. Thanks!!
The entire staff was so wonderful. Each person wished us Happy Anniversary and made us feel special. The food was absolutely amazing!!!
Made it nice for a birthday celebration.
Food was good; service was mediocre for “Morton’s”. You expect both to be great, and can get both to be great at many other places in Chicago-land, when you’re spending over $550 on dinner for three. I expect the waiter to be able to describe a $25 drink he just recommended to me, not point to the menu and suggest I read it. I don’t expect to get a laminated color-printed post-card of the seasonal specials at Morton’s. I expect to be asked earlier than when my after dinner coffee is being brought if I would like one of the warm specialty desserts, that by-the-way take 20-minutes to make. My guess is we had a newer waiter, but Morton’s needs to better in training to the details and high expectations if they expect to compete.
Very depressing feeling at this location.
The porterhouse steak was over charred, but cooked to the proper level that was ordered, the filet mignon was med rare when med was ordered and the twice baked au gratin potatoes still had unmelted cheese in the middle. Unfortunately we felt it was not a good value for the price paid. We are happy to pay those prices for an exceptional meal, which this wasn’t.
What a great idea to celebrate my wife's birthday at Morton's!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warmth that's is seldom seen in today's
steakhouse emporiums. The lounge's atmosphere was elegant and just plain swanky.
Our drinks and dinner were prepared with care and skill. Our server, Salvador, was just amazing! He was knowledgeable, informative, and just excellent.
Armando, the manager, greets every patron and follows up at their tables to ensure satisfaction. This type of care and diligence is the reason why our
evening was made perfect.
Our thanks to Morton's for providing such an inviting environment through such high caliber personnel.
Sincerely,
Gil & Laura Perez
Loyalist since 1988
Was not notified that my drink was made a special way that was not free refills so I ended up paying $20 in soda pop...the steak was good but not memorable. Me & my husband go out for a steak dinner once a month without the kids, we won't be coming back here. The dessert takes 20 min to make and the waiter boasted about how good it was - yeah not worth $15. Small portion for $15 and wasn't even good. Sides were pricey and not great options available. And funny how the guy said "I'll go wrap up the rest" because we had a little less than half the dish left - NEVER BROUGHT IT BACK.
Good food!
Excellent meal and value with Restaurant Week. I have never been disappointed with MORTONS. Normally eat at MORTONS in Naperville.
Brought some friends there because they had never heard of “Restaurant Week “ and we were celebrating a birthday. Time between courses was too long. Filet Mignon was unseasoned. My husband & friend LOVED their double-cut pork chops & Chopped salad. Wish dressing was more authentic on Caesar salad. By the time we ordered desserts, the restaurant was out of our selection. Waiter was very accommodating & friendly. We just didn’t feel that the standard of Morton’s was NOT up to par that evening.
Shockingly poor service and food. We had to wait 15 even with a open table reservation. Sat by a host whom did not ask if our table was to our liking and no menus. Our server Bryan arrived 10 minutes later, did not introduce himself or offer menus. He asked what we wanted to drink without cocktail menus. Martini glass was half full. Steak was small and did not taste good. Waiter had no idea if the steak was 6oz or 8oz as I ordered. Broccoli tasted as if it was frozen for a year. Salad had gobs of blue cheese, not crumbled like every other restaurant in the world serves. Contacted Landry’s corporate and received no response. I would expect better food and service from a chain of breakfast restaurants. Stay far away from this establishment.
The food is always great. The bartender Thomas and our food server, Cynthia, were terrific. The manager always makes us feel welcomed.
The food was great, expensive though.
Wonderful dinner.
This is my favorite restaurant and they made my birthday very memorable. Food and services was outstanding!
Steaks were not cooked properly...ordered medium and they were well done on outside and rare in the middle....also ordered a bottle of wine bit there was a special going on for that same bottle of wine at a much less expensive price and the server never mentioned it
Service was really slow. One salad came out with onion when my friend asked to leave them off.
First off, the weather wasn't the best or better yet, "wasn't to my favor" being that I was running a bit late (15 mins) and was a bit slippery out so I couldn't really step on it to make it on time, so I had to call in to let them know I was going to be a bit late for my reservation. They were VERY polite and understanding about it.
Our server gave her recommendations and even though I had already looked at the menu online and knew what I wanted to order for both my wife and i, we went with her recommendations and we were IMPRESSED the food was AMAZING, drinks were perfect. Our dinner night couldn't have been better. I will DEFINITELY go back VERY SOON!!
Morton’s always comes through!
A GREAT deal for Lobster on Friday during Lent. This was outstanding value for the great quality of Lobster. Then we also had the seasonal dish of cauliflower. That was very good.
Always good food and great service.
This is one of our favorite places because of the consistently superior food and service, and we were not disappointed! We'll be back, again and again!
It was Valentines Day. The dining experience was quite good after an initial disappointment. We were seated immediately and water and some delicious fresh warm bread was delivered. Then we waited more than 15 minutes or so watching others get served with no one coming to our table. I was so disgusted I didn’t smile for the photographer who was taking pictures at all the tables. I got up and went to the Maitre D and told him of our disappointment. We were immediately served and from then on everything was great. Our waitress did a very good job being attentive, friendly and accommodating. The meal was delightful. We ordered surf and turf (NY Strip and Lobster Tail) and Alaskan King Crab Legs with sautéed spinach & mushrooms and baked potato as sides. The food was very good except the lobster was just a tad bit over cooked. The MD offered to pay for our cocktails (we don’t drink alcohol) and then gave us our choice of desert on the house. We chose the crime brûlée and it was fantastic. The photo that was taken was gratis and I really didn’t want it but we graciously accepted it anyhow. Despite the bad start, I would still recommend this Morton’s for special occasions. Be prepared for the big check!
Our server was fantastic. The food was excellent.
There are only two ways to do steak. 1) Go to Morton's 2) The wrong way.
At at the bar. Everything was very good but I would not recommend the prime rib sandwich. Very disappointing.
We think Mortons is the best steakhouse, period. Everything else that they serve is also excellent. Service is outstanding. They try very hard to totally satisfy and they always make us happy.
Good food, nice people. Will definitely go back.
Way too expensive! The meals were not worth the price we paid for them.
