Warm Steak Salad
Filet Mignon Trio
Steak was great. Enjoyed the scallops as well. But man we were there for SO long. I think it ended up being over 2.5 hours from sitting down - to eating then finally paying and leaving. The real bummer were the cocktails were beyond terrible. I had to send back their "Signature" Manhattan. Its so terrible. Its the type of thing that sounds interesting - a piece of smoke aged meat as a garnish on a classic cocktail.
The meat was floating in the cocktail. Know what meat that has been floating in a cocktail tastes like? It tastes like a soggy disgusting piece of Jack Daniels soaked meat. Was it not meant to be eaten? That being said - the cocktail itself tasted like a dive bar Jack Daniels cocktail. Just awful.
I know its a bummer to rate a steak house on their cocktails but common...how hard is it to have good bartenders?
The dinner was excellent. Tried a new appetizer which is essentially a thick cut of bacon with a (sweet?) sauce. The staff is very welcoming from the hostess/host escorting us to our table to the manager Anthony who frequently stops by the table to chat. Shawn also stops to see that our dining experience is going well. Ben served us for the first time and upheld the quality of the Morton's experience. All of this contributed to a very pleasant evening out.
General manager and hostess were fantastic. Waiter was a bit careless. We sat outside this time and the service was not as good. Inside last month was absolutely perfect. Food was a bit on the salty side this time.
Great, as always!
Everything there is amazing. We tried the grilled asparagus with a balsamic reduction and it was to die for.
I’ve been to Morton’s many times but it was my first time at this location. Loved it!
Lovely service our server was very sweet as well as the host but steak was so dry. I feel Ruth’s Chris food i is much better and Fleming’s.
We had the sweetest waitress, the ambience was great, and the food was amazing. A friend that we were dining with is gluten-free and much to our surprise they came out and presented her with an entire gluten-free menu. The bacon steak appetizer is a must try item, The lobster mac & cheese was to die for, our steaks were cooked perfectly, and I must say that they make the best lemon drop martini around. The general manager even stopped by her table to ask how everything was, and I received a call the next day to check on how our dining experience was. Highly recommend
To celebrate our 48th anniversary, we decided to return to Morton's. Due to the pandemic, they had precautionary steps in place; all staff wearing masks (+ i noticed gloves too!), all diners were socially distanced from other diners, Plexiglas separations for booth seating.
Our wonderful server Omar took special care with explaining the menu and making sure over the course of the evening, all our needs were met. My husband had the Porterhouse steak and it was cooked perfectly. My salmon was delicious; melt in your mouth perfection. We shared a Caesar salad-just the right ratio cheese to dressing. Heaven. A decadent chocolate mousse topped off our meal...barely had room, but we managed to make it disappear!
A wonderful meal to celebrate 48 wonderful years! Thank you Mortons!
Waiter was excellent. Meal was slow. Undercooked Brussels sprouts - alsoVERY large ones.
Great Meal and Outstanding Service. Both indoor and outdoor seating available
The food was great and our server made great suggestions. I believe his name is Adam, and he was amazing, very attentive, courteous and helpful. He made the experience that much better. Kristen was also really nice and had great customer service. Unfortunately our visit was ruined by a really inappropriate comment from the manager (male wearing the red suit) as he approached my wife and I, and asked if we were sisters because we looked alike? It was really awkward as it was obvious we were on a date. He didn’t apologize for the comment, mistake. It almost felt like the comment was meant to offend...or maybe he is not used to seeing same sex couples...After spending $300 on a meal, it would have been nice to have been treated with more respect from a person that is supposed to represent the establishment . I wish I could say we’ll be back but we are going to try the Anaheim location next time.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinner. The service was amazing and the food was great!
Go to Flemings or Mastros instead. This location should be closed.
Joanna was an incredible server and she truly made our night amazing. So thankful for the flexibility to make specific requests (that may be a little out of the ordinary) seem no trouble at all. Excellent seasoning and all the food was cooked fantastically! What a great experience.
Service was excellent and food was delicious! Thank you to the staff working to bring a great experience during Covid!
Birthday for my guy. Went with another couple. You can’t find this relaxed, classy dining anywhere else. Great food too!
it was so nice to be able to dine indoors again. We were safety social distanced. food was delicious and service was great. We had a great time.
Overall the server staff (Nicole) made it a disappointing experience. For fine dining I would have expected higher quality service and attentiveness. Over 8 critical mistakes ranging from delivering the wrong food items to cooking at the wrong temperature (rib eye was medium well versus medium rare as requested) it became comical but $11.00 for an iced tea, $11.00 for a cup of coffee makes my expectation to expect quality to match the cost. The manager stepped in and did his best to assist and make things right. He also accommodated the food quality issues however it took away from our birthday celebration experience. I understand indoor seating recently opened up, quality of service should not have been compromised with lessor qualified staff.
Had to wait a while to be seated even though we had reservations. Waiter seemed rushed and was a little rude. Steak was amazing!
2 1/2 hours for a meal that should have taken half that time. I understand the addition of outdoor tables means servers have to go further between the kitchen and tables, but this seemed to be a kitchen issue. And for a steak place, you’d think they’d know how to prepare a filet without overcooking it. Cold french fries, lukewarm Brussels sprouts, spilled water when refilling glasses. Everything was meh and very overpriced. We’ve been here before and had a really good experience. Sad to say we won’t be back.
It's great to return to inside dining at Morton's. Our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. The filet and lobster dinner was excellent. The manager Anthony was welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with him not to mention his oversight of our dining experience. His presence and cheerful demeanor have always materially improved our experience at Morton's making us look forward to the next visit. We also appreciated Sean's stopping by our table to see how we were doing. Brandon's service throughout the meal was outstanding. We recommend the key lime pie and hot chocolate cake. We recommend Morton's for a classic fine dining experience in a very pleasant surroundings.
Never does Morton’s disappoint! Anthony and Shaun at the Santa Ana location are excellent managers who take the time to stop by and make sure everything is up to a 5+ star experience. Bailey and Kevin are exceptional servers there, who make dining so enjoyable, we return again and again. Of all of the high end steakhouses, Morton’s has the most outstanding “promotions of pre-fixed dinners”, which our family really appreciates. Morton’s continues to be our “go to” place for not only special occasions but for weekly dinners. Josh, the manager of the Palm Desert location, is like a family member to us. As when we return to that area, he never fails to remember our names and to make us feel at home. It is always a pleasure, Morton’s!
Great ending to a great day
Restaurant week special but there was no shortage on the quality! The wine was excellent. Staff was attentive and food came out hot and cooked exactly right.
Outstanding customer service and excellent culinary delights. Steaks cooked to perfection and everything necessary to make a memorable occasion even better.
It was wonderful
From the Hostess and Servers to the Cooks and Crew, everything was amazing!
Service was poor and slow. It took an hour and 35 minutes to get our main course. Probably won't go back. Poor value for money.
The food was excellent, however the $50 corkage fee is excessive and we will likely dine elsewhere in the future.
Best steak in Orange County. Queennsview restaraunt in Long Beach is a close second.
Our evening started off with a few mistakes, but Shaun Hile made everything right and everybody was happy!!
It was a great meal but $50.00 corkage? Won’t be back!
Everyone very professional and kind. Multiple staff members stopped at the table to see if everything was ok. Food was excellent
From the hostess to the waiter to the chef....everything was perfect! It was my husband’s birthday and everyone made him feel very special. Thank you Morton’s.
It was so cold in the restaurant. My steak came almost rare, had to send it back. We asked for the balsamic on the side of the asparagus so didn’t eat it. We had a birthday at our table & didn’t get dessert, partly because we were so cold we had to leave.
Morton’s is one of my favorite Steak restaurants as they offer delicious food paired with excellent service at reasonable prices. Parking is easy and the restaurant attention to detail and COVID 19 safety protocols is great.
