Haven’t been back for a long time. Still good. The famous Cajun ribeye still delicious. The side dish could have been seasoned better but still pretty good overall. I went early so I had no issue on service or noise level. At the time I left they were pretty full and the noise level was very high.

We were celebrating our anniversary (and the restaurant as well as our waiter knew it), but there was no special (complementary) dessert offered. I think that was a real “miss” on MORTON’s part.

It’s was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time there. Everyone was so nice and polite. Made us feel so welcome. The food was sos good! Next time I must try the Lava cake!

Poor waiter. Multiple service issues, cold soup, undercooked salmon, and very hard to flag down my waiter despite waiving my arms. Asked another waiter to get him and that didn’t work either. Very understaffed and had a hard time getting attention. No one checked on us. They drop the food on table and run away never to return.

While the whole menu is very good, Morton's is fabulous for steaks. I enjoy every meal I have there. The wine list and the bar are great too. When it is full, it can be a little hard for a couple to have a quiet conversation with the happy noise level. But, all in all, it is a great restaurant, especially for special occasions.

The overall dining was quite good. But the food served kind of slow. We waited half an hour for our main course after the appetizers. The waiter for our table was really nice, she frequently checked our statues to see how was everything.

We had an exceptional afternoon/evening at Morton's Santa Ana. We had the special dinner and then upgraded to the 8ounce filet mignon. We had the wedge salad and chocolate lava cake and the hazelnut chocolate mousse for dessert. They had a special potato dish with rich cheese that we shared. We also enjoyed the Buckhorn Cabernet with dinner.

For a steak house I felt the steak was not the quality it should be. Everything was very soft and mooshy. In my opinion must have a better sear. None of the food we finished and the drinks looked great however did not taste as they looked. Service was good just wished the food was much better

When you first walk into the restaurant, you are warmly greeted by the hostess, and the experience only gets better moving forward. The ambiance of the restaurant and the service were excellent, and the food was phenomenal. This was our first visit to Morton's, but it will not be our last. Looking forward to our next visit

This place required business casual attire. However, they let people come in wearing shorts and sandals. About half the people were not properly dressed which tells you the quality of their clientele. If you want a quiet fine dining experience, this is not the place. The noise level is such that you have to yell at the person you are talking to.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Morton's Santa Ana I am deeply disappointed by the experience my party and I had at Morton's Steakhouse in Santa Ana. Having once held a reputation as one of the best steakhouse restaurants in the US, the recent visit left much to be desired. My wife's 55th birthday celebration was planned well in advance, and I made a reservation for a party of 5 at the Santa Ana location. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory, beginning with the unrenovated restaurant's uncomfortably cold interior. After requesting a temperature adjustment, we were seated in an almost empty restaurant at a round table. Our server, Ben, demonstrated an attitude that lacked professionalism and courtesy from the start. He seemed irritated and was insistent on pushing us to order wine and cocktails immediately. Our orders were met with disappointment as well. The appetizers were mediocre at best, and the steaks we ordered—a hallmark of Morton's—were underwhelming. My wife's request for a well-done steak resulted in an overcooked piece of meat. Upon returning it, she received a raw replacement. When it was finally cooked, it was still far from satisfactory. The quality of the steaks was notably poor, a far cry from the high standards I associated with Morton's. Our dissatisfaction was evident as we left a significant portion of our meals untouched. Furthermore, I was surprised that there was no mention of my wife's birthday during the evening, despite specifying the occasion in the reservation. We ordered a cheesecake for dessert, which turned out to be a dismal experience in itself—by far the worst cheesecake I've ever encountered. The check arrived with its own set of issues. The server adjusted the bill without permission, adding a 25% tip. This was unwarranted given the abysmal service and experience we had endured. Despite my usual practice of giving a minimum of 20% for exceptional service, Morton's service did not warrant even a frac

We celebrated our friend’s birthday and sat at the bar for dinner. Service by Phil was fantastic! We all enjoyed our meals from Filet, Ribeye, Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Shrimp Alexander, French Onion soup to Cheesecake to end the night, everything was delicious!

We came on a Monday so it was relatively quiet. Our server was cheerful, helpful, and always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. He was delightful. The courses were served with just enough time in between. The wine was excellent— we had a Central Coast Pinot Noir which was fairly priced. He recommended the chopped salad which was delicious. The New York steak ( my husband’s favorite) was amazingly tender and flavorful. The homemade bread was absolutely delicious. We are trying to watch our calories so we did not have any of the sauces or other additions or sides like Mac and cheese that are so popular. We did order the asparagus and the button mushrooms with onions but we were not too crazy about either of those sides. All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Just don’t be stingy with the calories; I am told they have two amazing chocolate desserts that must be ordered 30 minutes in advance!

We did our anniversary here and for first timers is was a great choice to dine here. Our food/drinks were great with good big portions. And we unexpectedly had our photo take and we received a nice Ani card from the restaurant.

My friend and I enjoyed our dinner very much. Our waitress was super nice and thoughtful. All entrée, from appetizer to main course are fantastic. We ordered filet mignon and lobster tail. They are juicy and fresh. Great treat to my mouth. I want to introduce our dessert: Morton Legendary Sundae. That is lovely huge, ice cream and brownie covered by cream. Sweet and tasty. I will visit it again soon.

Great service and it was quiet but it was Wednesday. The steak could have been a little better and for a pricey prime ribeye, that is my expectation. The salad & lobster bisque along with the sides were good. It was my birthday & they treat you to a dessert of your choice which is very nice.

We have been to this location a few times for our anniversary & this time was probably our least favorite experience. It was a Tuesday night but possibly less than a dozen tables being served. It took 10-15 min to get our drink order & another 10 before we got our simple glass of wine. We ordered the French onion soup & the wedge. The soup was extremely thick, had little to no soup content it was very heavy. I have had this in the past & recall enjoying it. My husband who loves blue cheese actually said the salad had way too much dressing. I had the filet & lobster meal. The filet was medium I asked for medium rare but honestly after waiting a while to order I didn’t want to wait for another steak. My husband had the 12 oz filet & added scallops with bacon. His steak was cooked a perfect med rare & he enjoyed the scallops. Not sure if we will return again but for the price the food wasn’t what we have experienced in the past.

Morton's was a little quiet on the 4th of July, but they offered a delicious prix fixe menu in addition to the full menu. The food, service and ambience were excellent as always. I love their perfectly cooked and seasoned steaks; better than Ruth's Chris !

The receptionist and server were great. Due to the recent economic issue, I felt the food quality went down. I totally understood the restaurants have many problems like food cost, labor, etc. I like to eat good foods but it’s difficult now. This is not anybody’s fault. Sad.
