Service was not as fast as usual. My son has been here and a few other Morton’s(Las Vegas and Anaheim) and they have been more helpful to getting him food from the bar since he’s only 9 now. He obviously would like the hamburger sliders and fries but want given that option. She also took his fries that I requested be without truffle but with the Parmesan cheese on. Didn’t come with cheese and she threw away half of them at the end without asking if we wanted to take them home. So $7 bucks gone like that.
Loved the service
Food was outstanding. We were celebrating our anniversary and seated directly in front of the kitchen which is extremely loud. It was hard to have a conversation without yelling to each other. Also, our waiter seemed...disinterested in us as diners. I got the feeling he was looking down on us our entire meal and my feeling was confirmed when my dinner partner echoed my sentiment when we left. We actually cut our evening short because of it and were out of the restaurant in under an hour. I don’t know if I would return to the restaurant for another meal.
Our server George was great. We really enjoy the LSC member special offered that evening!
Had an fantastic waitress. She had a great personality and was very attentive. Great dinner as always at a Morton’s! Highly recommend.

Food is very well prepared and service is impeccable. Room is typical steakhouse staid, and the place is expensive, but you're paying for true quality.
The waiter took to long after the meal was over to finalize the bill or see if wanted anything else it gave a feeling of limbo watching other be-help and when totally ready to leave and move onto the next part of the evening beyond that little thing will be back and strongly recommended an evening Morton’s

The ambiance is not as good since Landry’s took it over! Also I had the tomato salad with dinner and the tomatoes were served too cold and not ripe enough.

The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The restaurant and bar are noisy but the atmosphere feels lively and exciting. I would go back the next time I’m in San Francisco.
My medium rare steak came out raw and it was so loud inside where I could not hear my other party.
Very disappointing. The house wines were mediocre. They had no Prime Rib. They were out of Salmon. The 12 oz Filet Mignon was good, but nothing special -- certainly not on the level of other steakhouses. The waiter was unpleasant and mostly absent. The room was not full, but too noisy. The ice cream in the dessert was full of ice. Will not be going back.
Great meal and service in a nice atmosphere. It is pricey but we knew that going in, it’s worth it.

When visiting the USA we always choose to visit a Morton’s Steakhouse as we have had brilliant service and food at your restaurants in Chicago, New York and Orlando in the last year.
On this occasion our visit to San Fransisco was not up to standard detailed below.
•Our server Jay profiled us due to where we had travelled from the UK. His service was very abrupt, rude and inattentive. Very different from what we have experienced before.
•He offered zero insight into the menu and choices on offer and was just going through the motions. I asked him about a seasonal special and he offered little more than the menu text on this dish.
•He was inattentive with drinks, for other USA guests he brought their food over personally and offered lots of interaction. With us he left this to a food runner and very rarely interacted.
•Upon finishing he simply asked ‘do you want anything else’. He did not recommend desserts or coffee he simply wanted us gone. We would of stayed and had more drinks but felt very unwelcome at this point.
•When presenting the bill he simply placed it down and again offered no interaction. With USA guests he was very thankful for their visits.
I can only assume that he profiled us do the old thought that people from the UK do not tip. I can assure you even on this occasion we tipped appropriately and will always do for fantastic service. We appreciate a high quality experience and normally get this but this particular Morton’s fell short.
We asked to speak to the manager
who simply was unhelpful. His suggestion was ‘maybe he was having a bad or it was a bad table?’. He did not want to put this right.
He offered for the General Manager to be in touch but 3 days later she still hasn’t been.
Went for my boyfriend’s birthday, everything was perfect! Food was great as always, and the service was even better Even got a complimentary photo which was very nice!
I’m e-mailed at the manager during the intermission of Hamilton:
“I can’t express how disappointed my husband and I were at our anniversary dinner tonight!
We’d love to give Morton’s a chance to give us the fine experience that it’s known for. As you handed me your business card you expressed that you would make it up to us. What’s the best way for us to go about making sure that happens? The cajun ribeye was amazing everything else was sadly sub par. Salad was brown on edges and my crab legs were frozen-inedible!!! Looking forward to your prompt reply.”
Love this place, steaks are top notch. And the service is always perfect.

Overpriced for what you get. Don't advertise prawns and when you get them they are actually shrimp for the price of prawns. the steak was tender and cooked perfect. been going to Morton's for a long long time and the prices have tripled and the portions have decreased. unfortunately we'll be looking for other places.

The quality of food at Mortons is outstanding without question, the only real issue for me is the portion sizes are really way too much for a normal person, but that’s just me!
Absolute divine Filet Oscar. Everything was superb. Service fantastic. If ever in San Fransisco area, this restaurant is a must.
Went to celebrate a Wedding dinner and it was extremely busy, they accommodated a last minute 80% guest increase to our existing reservation. Amanda was super easy to work with and didn’t hesitate to guarantee a personalized menu request. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants top notch food and service.

We had a very nice dinner at Morton's. For appetizers we tried the Morton's prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella, which is much more interesting and tasty than it sounded on the menu. In addition to the prosciutto and mozzarella, the dish also includes tomatoes and greens and a balsamic vinaigrette. For entrees, we tried the Alaskan crab legs and the steak flight, together with creamed corn and Lyonnaise potatoes. Everything was excellent and we can't wait to go back.

Morton's has always been and still is a favorite for quality drinks and dinners. I'm looking forward to the next time.
Super dark and super loud. Better options in SF. Waitress was obnoxious. Would approach the table and just burst into our conversation. Every time. Would not even be polite and wait for a break in the conversation. Also promoted the souffle. Was undercooked and mushy. should have sent it back but just wanted to get out of the place
Wonderful evening, great service and the fillet was amazing. Highly recommend. Loud but not annoying.
