I celebrated my 55th birthday with family, and everything was outstanding as always. Our server was friendly and humorous. The manger was kind enough to take a birthday photo of the group and had copies for all of us before the night was over. I enjoy dining at Morton’s, I love their steaks and the staff is always friendly and attentive.
Great meal at Morton’s as always!!! Love the mixed grill combos!
The salads were not very good. My husband ordered a rare/med-rare NY strip and it came well done. My filet was cool/room temperature, not even warm, and I ordered it medium-well - it seemed to have sat a while. Another diner at our table ordered lobster; it was very tough and chewy. Service was exceptionally slow. The side dishes were at least good. Next time we will go to Gibson's or Ruth's Chris though.
Valentine’s Day. Seated in ‘overflow’ room with all the ambience of a banquet hall. My wife’s steak was prepared the way I ordered mine and mine the way she ordered hers. Awful service. Had to ask for dessert. The bread was good and we enjoyed the bottle of wine we ordered. Made reservations here based on good past experience and assumption that a restaurant of this quality would get Valentine’s Day right, which is a challenge for many. Was wrong, but will not the mistake again.
It was a great time. They made our anniversary dinner so special. They took a picture of us and they took a picture and gave it to us as a gift! Our waitress was amazing I wish I can remember her name, but she had a accent. Super nice and attentive. That’s great service and more. Thank you Morton’s! Definitely a night to remember :)
Didn’t like the drawn butter with crab. Didn’t eat it was horrible was mad
Good atmosphere food was satisfactory. Staff was great!
We absolutely loved the atmosphere, very comfortable, yet elegant setting. The quality of food AND service far exceeded expectations from start to finish. I would HIGHLY recommend this location.
My overall experience at Morton's was great. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I will definitely go again and recommend to family and friends
This was my first time going to Morton’s !! The waitress was the BEST!!! He made my first experience a night to remember!
Have not been to Morton’s for a few years and I don’t know why I ever stopped. The food was excellent. Iof course ordered too much but subconsciously I think we did that for leftovers the next day.
The overall experience was good, and the food was very good. The lighting was so dark, we had to ask to be moved to a different table since we couldn't even read the menus. The tables were so packed in that the wait staff had a hard time maneuvering between them and you could definitely hear the conversations at every table around you. When you spend this kind of money on a dinner, you would expect a little more intimacy. It doesn't help that the restaurant is in the basement, so there is no outside lighting anyway. It was a good meal, but disappointed in the overall ambiance and seating.
We had a lovely dinner last night at Morton’s! From the moment you walk in you are greeted by everyone. We had a great wine from Stag’s Leap which was Artemis to start off our meal. I had the Caesar while my husband prefers the Morton’s salad that comes with anchovies. We both had the 8ounce fillet which was grilled to perfection and served at the right temperature. The horseradish mashed potatoes and creamed spinach was a perfect side dish. I ordered the signature chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. My husband had the key lime pie. The desserts are so generous you probably should share. That said we didn’t waste a bite! As an after dinner drink we had a glass of Licor 43 to end our meal. I also have to say how pleased we are to be a Landry's Select Club member. It only takes $25.00 to join and they send you $25.00 as a welcome to you. So basically it is free. Then when you dine at Morton's or one the hundreds of Landry's restaurants you earn points. Spend $250.00 and the next time you dine you get $25.00 off your meal. They also send you $25.00 every year on your birthday. I've had my card for several years now and it has really paid off.
Wait staff and Assistant GM were fantastic! Keep up the great work, very memorable evening to kickoff a very memorable weekend.
Great service and food.
They were too pushy for the membership but the food was good.
Amazing service and food ,
Always a sure thing for a business meeting and dinner. Food is always top botch , great wine list and service. Unlike some of the other steak houses near here, the boise level at Mortons is low enough to have conversations.
Service and food were both outstanding! Pleasantly surprised by the taco appetizer.
Morton’s is a quite little gem in Rosemont! I had the Caesar salad and my husband had the Morton’s salad which comes with his favorite anchovies! We both had the 6 ounce fillet along with the horseradish whipped potatoes and the broccoli. Usually we get the Brussel sprouts which are outstanding. I had the Key Lime pie for dessert and my husband the chocolate mousse. I love their chocolate lava cake which is made to order so you have to let them know when you order your entree. It’s delicious! They have a nice arrangement of wine and we tried a Pinot Noir the manager suggested and we were not disappointed. Check out their special for Restaurant week!
Great Service. Great food. Great ambiance. I will be back. This was my second time and it was just as great as the first time. Thank you.
The best as always!!
Great service and made our anniversary a little extra special with custom menus and complimentary desert.
Excellent service with a smile!
Love Morton’s every time. Excellent food and service. Thank you to the management for accommodating us through other patrons that were not so appropriate to the setting.
Our server was great and the food was delicious. Our group of 4 had a great time.
Amazing waiter, amazing food, just amazing!
Felt very rushed. Even though we said that we were NOT going to a show, they rushed us through our meal making it one of the worst Morton experiences that we have had.
I should say that we go to Morton's everytime we travel and are Reward members visiting 12 locations previously. This, however, was our first in the Chicago area.
We just moved to Illinois and wanted to celebrate by going to our local Morton's in our new city. It will also probably be our last time here.
Service not up to Morton standard. Originally ordered a glass of Chandon champagne then changed my mind to a Kir Royale. Drink came out and it was definitely not Chandon, very sweet, had to be a prosecco or moscato. That could be my fault, but since I originally ordered a name brand, I would think you would assume that I still wanted that brand.
Food was good as always, but not enjoyable when you can't even take a breath or have some wine before the next course comes. Again, I don't blame the kitchen, it is all on the waiter.
Ambiance, dinner was down stairs. Everything gray and black. Personally, I love the old Morton's with the old wood, always had such an elegant feel. This gray and black contemporary vibe I can get anywhere. I want the opulence and prestige of a time almost forgotten. Thank God the 21 Club is still around.
It was my birthday and they printed my name on the menu, how intimate!!! Everything was perfect!! I definitely would suggest this place for a special occasion!!!
Staff was very attentive to my party of people , went above and beyond to help my mom who uses a walker sometimes to get around , food was very favorable, will be returning here in the future
One of the best steaks I have ever had! Can’t wait to go back
Five stars all around as always.
Steaks were over cooked and did not meet what I would expect for the price. Waitstaff was inexperienced. Bill was wrong. Holistically not worth the price.
Thank you to Patrick and the entire Morton’s staff, for making our family Christmas dinner absolutely perfect.
Excellent service, mouth watering fillets! Impressive wine list too!
Mitchell and Shaun were great!
Absolutely wonderful dining experience for our group of six celebrating two of our friend's birthdays. Morton's printed a menu commemorating their birthdays. Food was as expected, Morton's high quality with steaks cooked to our specifications. We needed to be done in good time to make it to second show at Zanies Rosemont and they delivered on this request. From the hostess to our waitstaff, we had the most attentive and courteous service. Thanks especially to Anna and Athena, our waitstaff for ensuring a successful birthday celebration for our two friends.
We normally book our reservations during the week but we made a weekend reservation this time. We had a few glitches with wrong drinks served and someone’s steak not cooked to their request as well as side dishes that were ordered but missing. The Morton’s salad was awful - it was literally romaine soaked in blue cheese dressing , but the waiter offered to remove it from the bill which we did appreciate. On the weekdays we normally see Patrick , the general manager, but he was not there and it felt like the evening was rushed..Patrick is phenomenal .. never had such a great manager who makes you feel at home. He swings by the tables and chats like a family member . It gives your dinner such a personal touch. He was truly missed this weekend.
I just felt bad that we couldn’t share the great experiences we always have with our friends this weekend - that part I can’t change and I’m sure they will think twice about coming back. Of course we will - food always great..steaks are tender and flavorful ( black truffle butter was delicious). The grilled oysters and Alexander shrimp for appetizers were amazing.. I only wished we ordered more! Till next time- but I’ll stick to the weeknights going forward.
