Sean did an excellent job as our waiter. He answered our questions and anticipated our needs. The mid-March special is a great deal especially for such delicious food! Thank you.

Great meal. Sat us for an early reservation. The total diner took 1.5 hours for dinner for two. Great restaurant. Will visit again.
Service was poor in relation to the prices on the menu. The food was also only OK.
WE NEED ONE CLOSER IN JACKSONVILLE NC. I LOVE MORTONS. FROM OUR WEDDING DAY TO OUR WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES AND VALENTINES DAY WEEKEND... ALL OUR EXPERIENCES HAVE BEEN AWESOME WITH MORTONS STAFF... Our Valentine's dinner date at Morton's was definitely a great experience. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent, exactly what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. The only downside in my opinion was the menu pricing. While the food was exceptional, the pricing seemed to be super inflated for what you actually get. Not to mention we paid $50 for a bottle of wine that sells at Total Wine for $15.99. Once again, we had an great evening and I didn't mind spending more for a fine dining experience, but I feel like we got raked over the coals a bit.

The lobster contained several pieces of shell and the food was cold. Open Table said the latest I could get a reservation was 3:45. I was there until almost 6 and counted at least 10 tables that remained empty the whole time.
Service was dismal. Entrees took 2 hours to arrive. Bottle of wine was ordered and never arrived. Food was luke warm when delivered to table. Our dinner took over 3 hours. I got up 3 times to try and find our waitress and/or a manager and never could find anyone!
Great service. The atmosphere was excellent for a business meeting. Even though it was busy with several large groups it never got loud.
Food and staff was great, manager came to the table and had a small conversation which was also great
Great favorite and love how they made it special for our birthday guest.
The food was delicious but quite expensive for the portions served.

New Year Dinner
Frequent Mortons guests. First time in Richmond. Something wrong with everything from beginning to end.
Sent back mixed drink, steaks had odd seasoning, error in requested prep, one steak sent back 2x other 1x. Potatoes lacked salt. Chocolate mousse much smaller than usual. Waiter very gruff. Apologized later saying he was upset about something that had happened. Apologies from staff but usually there would have been a compensation offered—free dessert or after dinner drink, for example. Just a disappointing dinner. We always say Mortons is at its very best on New Years Eve. Not in Richmond.
We went to Morton’s for an early New Years Eve dinner; the food at Morton’s is always consistent; the hostess and host that greeted us for outright laughing at the pronunciation of our last name; the waitress we had was clearly new and we tied to be patient; the wine (Santa margherita Pinot Grigio-50$ bottle) first bottle fine; second bottle had to be comped because it was not chilled; tabled was not cleaned before desert was served. There were 6 of us; over a 700$ bill ; money never an issue- just so disappointing
Our server was Duncan, and he and ALL the staff were friendly, professional, and made it a great experience. The prices are not for the faint of heart, but you get what you pay for both in quantity and quality. We make reservations, and we've never waited more than 30 SECONDS, unlike other places we've visited. Ambiance is great, and noise level is low to moderate (it got more moderate level at peak New Year's dinner hour, understandably.) But it was never so loud I couldn't hear my husband across the table. We make Morton's in Richmond our New Year's tradition every year, and for good reasons!
Waiter seemed annoyed and was short with us all night. Food was below average. Felt rushed out of there.
The Staff was excellent and made our Anniversary very special the picture and the menu with our name on it was an awesome touch. It is nice to know there are still places with Great customer service and the food was fresh and made just right compliments to the Chef. We enjoyed every moment there. We will definitely return and have told everyone about our experience and recommend Morton's with a 5 Star. Thank you staff for making our night more special than it already was. The Haskins.
Everything we had was great! We eat quite a bit at comparable steak houses and have skipped over this place for a while. The shrimp Alexander was a great starter. My fillet was cooked to perfection and my wife’s seafood Grill was also excellent.
Great as usual. Fantastic server and the food was excellent. Great dining experience.

Only went because they were open on Christmas. Appetizers were more than disappointing. Over done bacon wrapped scallops, microscopic crab cakes, oysters that were so small they should not have been served, and boring sauces. Apps are over 30 per person in a shared setting. The server had no wine serving knowledge which is fine in a casual setting but not when you are paying 200 a meal. The salads were a wet mess, the burrata salad were served with charred Brussel sprouts( not listed on the menu) and the lobster bisque was bland. Steaks are not dry aged and are texture less. Wipe open dining room with as much style as corporate artwork and as loud as karaoke night at the hotel bar.

We usually have a stellar experience overall but this time has us reconsidering a return anytime soon. Food was under whelming and lukewarm to boot. Waiter...missed the opportunity to make the experience slightly better but seemed awkward, nervous and out of place. Get well soon Morton's...please!
Christmas Eve dinner was awesome. Despite the very busy evening, the staff sat us down on time, checked on us often, and gave great recommendations for drinks when asked. The filets were perfect!

My first experience here, although I've lived in the area for thirty years. I have also been to some of the best steakhouse in the country. I expected a whole lot more from one of the major high-end chains. Food was very average for any restaurant and the prices were outrageous for very average food. Atmosphere was particularly disappointing. Low-end Vegas. No real class. Disappointed.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars for ambience. It appears there were a lot a Christmas parties. They were typically very noisy. One lady have the cackling laugh. But otherwise GREAT
This was my first time here for my birthday. I don’t remember my servers name but she was really sweet nice and patient with us. Overall I think I’ll be back for a date night .
Dinner at this level should wow you - this location does nothing to wow. The interior is rather plain, and the three times we've eaten here the experience was just so-so. This last time our food was overcooked but didn't want to ruin the evening by complaining, but at this price, everything should be excellent.
Downtown Richmond's premier steakhouse. The steaks are excellent and the seafood is superb.

Best steak I have had in the past 10 years. 7oz Wagyu Cut with Lobster Mac & Cheese.
The Quality of the steak I had was mediocre at best - the ribeye is not supposed to bt tougher than a NY strip - it lacked the flavor I am used to in the Baltimore Mortons - I really didn't enjoy our experience as I usually do having been a customer of Mortons for almost 37 years since they opened the Georgetown location in Washington DC - I cannot in good faith recommend the Richmond location.
We had a great time. First trip to this brand.
