Morton's advertises itself as "Best Steak Anywhere" and after last night's dinner we would have to agree, whole-heartedly! My wife's filet and my prime NY strip were both cooked perfectly medium-rare and very flavorful. Prior to that we enjoyed appetizers (bacon wrapped scallops for her and prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella for me), the perfect start! Sides included "The Troy" for her and luscious au gratin potatoes for me. Finally, she ended her meal with the molten chocolate cake, and I settled for vanilla ice cream and coffee. Service was wonderful - the server even took our photo (we were celebrating our wedding anniversary) and presented us with a souvenir menu. All in all, well worth the price! Only downside was seating a large (and very loud and talkative group) right next to us, when the restaurant was nearly empty....kinda distracted from the ambience....

Our server, Floren, was knowledgeable and very helpful without being overbearing. The bacon wrapped scallops were out of this work. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, exactly as we ordered. Even the coffee was first rate.

Beautiful restaurant. Tables are well spaced. We went for restaurant week and were very pleased with the menu offered and portion sizes. We both had filets, my daughter added the truffle butter which was very good and gave an added dimension to our perfectly cooked med rare steaks. Very cheerful service oh, and wonderful cocktail list.

Over the years, my wife and I and some of our family and even my mother have dined at Mortons in Reston. They’ve always been very attentive to us and the food has been excellent. Last night was a 32nd anniversary for my wife and me and we ended up having a fantastic meal at Morton’s. The meal included filet mignons cooked perfectly, lobster, onion soup, crab cocktail, the famous onion bread, and a wonderful dessert. From personalized menus through the entire meal the staff were very attentive. Our waiter, Diego, made us feel extra special plus one of the managers, Scott, made sure everything was going well. We don’t feel this Morton’s has ever lost a step over the years and we still consider this one of the best places around.

Delicious food with outstanding service. We enjoyed our date night. Started with dirty martinis bacon wrapped scallops were delicious. Wedge salad was crisp and refreshing. Our entrees Driedage New York Strip and Cajun Ribeye were perfectly cooked and flavorful. Julio our server was outstanding. He took great care of us. Thanks for an awesome experience Julio

Sad to say, never thought I’d be writing this about Morton’s. My husband and I, who we’re celebrating our anniversary, along with my mom and my daughter who was visiting from out of town came to enjoy Morton’s as we have many times in the past. The food was just not on par with how it’s been in the past. The French onion soup, which we love, was essentially tasteless. We ordered lobster mac & cheese, which we were bragging to my mom and daughter, about how wonderful it was, only to find it was way over seasoned and so dry as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Our entrées, three of which were either bone-in ribeyes or fillet Oscar style were wonderful. My daughter ordered the crab cakes and only mentioned that they were not the worst that she’s ever had. There were also dinner specials, which we were not aware of because our waiter did not provide them to us. We only became aware when the server next to us began rattling off the evening’s specials after we had already ordered our Entrees. Our server, while kind and attentive, was dripping in sweat most of our time there, which was unappetizing. Finally, we were placed in a booth in front of the kitchen window, AWFUL. From the kitchen, staff, slamming and banging plates on the metal counter, cursing and yelling for different things, to the wait staff, who frequently gathered outside the window, laughing, and joking and yelling back-and-forth with the kitchen staff, terribly, terribly annoying and really ruined our night. We did advise one of the managers mid meal about the kitchen and he offered free desserts, which we declined. When we’re dropping $600-$700 for a meal, we expect good service, good food, and an enjoyable atmosphere. Free desserts would not make that better and we weren’t looking for a handout. We live near Quantico Virginia and we always come to Reston Morton’s even though there is a closer Morton’s to us because we’ve always enjoyed everything about Reston.

I have been to Morton's several times, but our last visit yesterday on 7/19/23 in Reston was quiet disappointing. I ordered Prime Ribeye Medium Rare but the steak was tough overcooked and under salted. It did not seem like prime at all and much lower quality. Big disappointment. The Cab I ordered was not good and I had to replace it with another option. Our appetizers were also not up to their standard. O

Steak was under cooked TWICE. Made all our food cold while we waited. Paid hundreds of dollars for a nice meal and only got a free $12 dessert with all the time we waited and the inconvenience. Do not recommend.

Not our best experience…again, I’m afraid. The (very expensive) waygu filet cave with a sauce that was not appetizing, and not advertised. (What happened to descriptions on the menu? There are none.) Had to send it back to be redone. While the lobster ravioli was tasty, the two pieces of lobster atop the dish were so overcooked it was very difficult to chew. I probably wouldn’t order it again. Bread was likely sitting for a while as the crust was really hard, which it normally isn’t. I have to say, we’ve had issues here before, and after a while we try them again to give them a chance, but they keep falling down.

Morton’s is Morton’s, wherever, I think. It was really good, if a bit salty. Portions huge. Service mostly good. New sommelier went out of his way to help and was knowledgeable. Good experience.

Our steak lover really enjoyed his meal. Two of us ordered Chicken Christopher. Appreciated the sauce because the chicken was incredibly dried out and firm. Before the end of the meal we heard that they had run out of the $10 loaf of bread they offer all tables without mentioning that it is $10. Running out of bread before 8 o’clock on Father’s Day is poor management. Also, our server was robotic, unfriendly, and continued to talk as she walked away from our table. We will not return.

Mother's Day dinner, placed was packed and quite noisy, but the food was impeccable as was the service. Be sure to make a reservation and leave plenty of room on your credit card! A whole lotta $$$, but you get what you pay for!
