Dined for dinner for 2 3/21/19 Landry's Select Club offer. I HIGHLY recommend joining Landry's Select Club.

LSC was offering 2/$110 which is a fantastic deal considering each of our entrees alone was $48 and $36 respectively.

Review on my choices only:
Lobster bisque - creamy
Salmon - cooked well, salmon was not dried out and still moist, crispy top layer
Brussels sprouts - steamed soft and yummy with onions (did not eat but they added flavor)
Chocolate Mousse - rich and chocolaty

Deal included a choice of wine. Picked Pinot Noir - lighter bodied red wine, slightly sweeter, not as dry and heavy. Perfect.

Server was friendly and stopped by our table 4 times which is the perfect amount, attentive but not annoying.

Mortons Reston is no longer "The Steakhouse". The traditional Mortons is gone and nothing memorable replaced it. Underwhelming experience , overpriced, outdated facility. Eddie Merlot at One Loudoun is far superior. Sadly dissappointed Mortons has lost its identity.

The service is very good. The food is very good. The atmosphere is very good. The management is outstanding. There is an assistant manager named Meron who is just a delight. You need to be the scheduler of your own food. Don't order an entree until you are nearly finished with your salad/soup or appetizers. I was shocked that the entree came out on the heels of the salads.

Great place for date night. My French 75 was perfect. The steak was cooked perfectly. Eddie our server was especially helpful and fun. We would go back.

Service was excellent. Noise level is much too high.

Steak was excellent.

Seafood appetizer was disappointing for the price.

Side dishes were a waste of money: Brussels sprouts were hard and cool in the center.

Garlic mashed potatoes were lumpy and cold.

Will focus on steak only next time

It had been several years since I had been to Morton's. Two things surprised me: folk were so casually dressed and it it was noisy.

What wasn't a surprise: the food was generously portioned and well prepared. The wine was tasty. And, the service was impeccable.

Morton's food is consistent like clockwork and this experience was no exception except for it arriving room temperature after a clear long wait under the heat lamps. Unfortunately, when you pay 2 times more for steak and drinks/wine than other restaurants, you expect the service to match. While our server overall was good, somehow management had the restaurant completely understaffed. Our server had 4 normal tables (2-4 people each) and a group of 10. This did not appear unique to our table, every server seemed way overwhelmed. if you wanted bread, or another round of drinks you had to basically tackle someone running by. The result is extended waits for each and every course and drink. And my biggest pet peeve, waiting 45 minutes to pay at the end of meal. If the server did not have my credit card for 30 of that 45 mins, we may well have considered walking out. Perhaps most frustrating, was the number of managers/hosts watching the chaos. Note to management team, when you see your wait staff drowning, jump in and help. Or, be a little crazy, offer a free drink or desert when you know people are getting frustrated. As we were leaving, we noticed probably 15-18 plates sitting under the heat lamp in the kitchen. No runners, food sitting there getting cold and drying out. Shameful. In all, my wife and I spent $260 to leave stressed out and vowing it will be a long time before we return. Very sad for me to type this, but next expensive steak dinner in Reston area will not be here....

Food was good. Service was ok- server was very personable but a little slow and we had to ask for bread and left over sides were omitted in our doggie bags. Birthday dessert was a nice touch as was Birthday menu!!

Great food and great service. Morton’s always delivers. Have the tomato bisque and dunk your onion roll. Crab cake BLT was exactly what I expected. See you soon.

Morton’s provides inexplicable ambiance and professionalism, coupled with outstanding food and friendly service. My only complaints about my experience was that my server had a extremely thick accent that proved hard to navigate, so it ultimately impacted my overall experience. My dad is an immigrant himself, so I am used to a thick accent, but unfortunately I just couldn’t get past the accent of my server.

Additionally, I felt the drink service wasn’t worth 5 stars. I ordered a perfectly prepared Manhattan at the same time my fiancé ordered a glass of wine, and her wine came out about 15-20 minutes after my drink came. The server said that the bartender had “disappeared”, whatever that meant.

My food was absolutely outstanding, however, I split a baked potato with my fiancé, and I was not warned that it was scoulding hot by my server. Obviously, a potato is going to be hot, but I literally singed my esophagus and am still experiencing pain days later.

I think it would be worth it to say “these potatoes are very hot, you may get burned if you eat them right away”.

Overall, Morton’s was great, but not without its reservations.

Amazing experience by being greeted with “Happy Anniversary” and followed by the waiter, then getting a picture from the restaurant. What a great surprise for my wife to have everyone mentioning our anniversary. Overall from service to food was a great experience. Morton’s has not disappointed me for many years.

Waited 15 min for sever. Two salads were WAY overdressed and my steak was over cooked. This is my family’s favorite go to place. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

We enjoyed our dinner and the food was great. I felt like the tables were too close together and the place was loud. It was not an intimate dinner with our group of 6. It is one big open room and not a lot of ambiance. Everything we ate was fantastic and the service was terrific. I just didn’t like the atmosphere.

Dinner was amazing, as usual. We go to Morton's for Valentine's every year. This time we decided to try a few new items & were pleasantly surprised with how great the were. The escargot had puff pastry on top, & were piping hot & loaded with garlic. The prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella were delicious. Our steaks were cooked perfectly. I look forward to our next dinner there.

I took my girlfriend out to Morton’s steakhouse for Valentine’s Day, and it was the best choice I made. We were both so graciously pleased with our meals and the service that we got. Our server was very informative with every dish on the menu and made it easier for us to pick a meal. I highly recommend this place if you’re thinking of taking your significant other on a date.

My date and I have been to this restaurant many times and never got such a disappointment. The waiter we had literally spit in our faces when he said his “s”s. It was extremely off-putting, and made me uncomfortable to drink the water or anything else that was put out on the table.

Only recommended for previous experiences. Service was sub par than what I’ve seen before. At one time it was my preferred steak house above all others. The chef knew the perfection of a beautiful carmelized sear on a rare filet and a cool center. This time they just served a cold steak and cold baked potato. I was a little heartbroken over it. I hope the passion comes back.

It was Valentine's Day, so the ambience was a bit lacking, as there were extra tables, it appeared, for the occasion. Not a big deal, since it was Valentine's Day, and we likely wouldn't have gotten a table otherwise. The service was very good, the steaks wonderful, the sides and salads fine, and the wine decent, and although a splurge for us, it wasn't too painful when the bill came. Hey, no one is going to Morton's for a value dinner. It is a splurge. The only real complaint is that the "big band" and crooner type music that was being played was a trifle loud, especially with the extra tables. It made the atmosphere louder than it should have been and made it harder to understand our server, who was very good, but whose first language is not English.

FANTASTIC Valentine’s Dinner. I had the lobster/filet special, my wife had the lobster tail, and we shared Brussels sprouts and Parmesan truffle French fries. Pretty pricey but SO delicious. Our waiter was wonderful and very attentive to my pregnant wife’s gluten allergy. Wonderful experience.

My wife and I decided to give Morton to try for Valentine’s Day we normally go to Ruth Chris or the palm or Del Frisco‘s. We made reservations and when we arrived we had to wait approximately 10 to 15 minutes which was no big deal after we were seated it was 10 minutes before a waiter came by to see us. I ordered an 8 ounce filet medium well and the waiter read back medium rare and I corrected him and when i got my steak it was definitely medium rare. I let it slide and decided to still eat it, the steak was nearly room temperature as if it had been sitting to the side while the rest of our food was prepared ($59 for a mediocre steak at best, i can get a better filet at coastal flats for $22). We also had an empty salt shaker and asked to be brought a full one...i timed that 11 minutes had gone by before we got salt..food wasn’t very well seasoned snd needed salt but was barely hot by the time we got salt. The staff just seem extremely unprepared to handle the night. There were plenty of waiters but it was every msn for himself snd no teamwork..very chaotic. Even cashing out was a pain...waiter took payment and we didn’t see him again for 15 minutes. Ill stick to Ruths Chris, they never disappoint. THIS PLACE RUINED OUR V DAY!
