    They do NOT enforce the dress code even though they are specific on the website. along casual dressed costumers there were folks in sweaty tank tops with shorts right next to us totally contrary to advertised "dress code". When we asked the "maitre d" why it is allowed she just shrugged and indicated that it does not matter how are people dressed. This place and food is really great , but when you dine next to people just coming out from the gym and/or basketball match it all feels like a let down. If the establishment does not care why then advertise what specifically is NOT allowed (Gym clothes) and yet let everybody in anyway? It surely did not add to otherwise nice ambient

    We were a bit early. While plenty of free tables, we had to wait for our designated time. Was not a problem as we had some nice champagne from a great staff member.

    Superb food and drink and service, every time, without fail. That's what made me choose Mortons for celebrating the birthday of family visiting from out of town, and we were delighted as always. Whether you're there in advance of a show across the street at the Keller, or just for a delightful night on the town, Mortons has you covered.

    Here is your refined restaurant review based on your notes: ⸻ Restaurant Review: Disappointed by the Decline I’ve loved this restaurant for a long time, but it’s clear things have changed. The quality and taste of the food have noticeably dropped, leaving dishes that taste more like generic buffet food than the carefully crafted plates they used to serve. Flavors were underwhelming across the board, and nothing stood out enough to feel worth the price. It’s also frustrating that they claim to have a dress code but don’t really enforce it, which takes away from the experience they’re trying to create. The bright spot was the staff. Service was genuinely excellent, and every worker we interacted with was kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel cared for even when the food did not meet expectations. The dessert ended up being the best part of the meal, which felt a bit ironic given how disappointing the main courses were. It was the only dish that had the flavor and quality I remember loving here. Overall, it’s hard to see a place I used to enjoy decline like this. I’m grateful for the amazing service, but the restaurant needs to refocus on the food if it wants to live up to its former reputation. ⸻ Let me know if you would like a short version for Google or Yelp, or a version with a star rating for quick posting.

    Our waiter Matt made our experience phenomenal. From the wine recommendation to what to eat he was spot on. He really demonstrated that he cared about our experience but more importantly he was proud about where he worked and what he did we can’t wait to visit and dine with him as our waiter again.

    We received serveral check ins from the managers; nice touch. Also, they took a picture of our party as we were celebrating the birthday of our friend. It is pricey, but we felt worth the money. We’ll be back and fyi you can join the Landry card program which allows you to earn discounts in the future; and a special menu at this location.
